Sati reloads her uncooperative crossbow and moves forward, trying to keep Mohgwier in sight, and gain a line of attack on their last foe.

Sati reloads her crossbow, and fires at the archer once again.

Sati takes aim again, stepping out from behind the rock to get a clear line of sight on the gnolls. She targets the large one baring down on Muqaq, seeing as the caster appears to be in trouble.

Sati takes aim with her crossbow, and targeting the hyena, launches a quarrel with the intent of finishing it off.

Sati leans over the edge of the rock, using it for cover. She reloads, takes aim, and looses another shot at one of the gnoll archers, shooting for an injured one, if possible.

Sati takes aim, and repeats her shot at the gnoll.

Sati leans out from the rock, taking aim with her crossbow and loosing at the foremost of the archers.

"Moghwier, stay put until they get closer, or we've dealt with the archers."

Sati reloads her crossbow, and takes aim for the best available target. Order of priority: the one fighting Moghwier, if still living, the leader, then the third by Akhom.

Sati shifts her aim to support Mohgwier, and looses her next quarrel at the Gnoll she is fighting.

Sati rises from her crouched hiding place, still using the rock for cover. She takes aim with her crossbow and looses her bolt at the archer (or if he's dead, at the leader).

Sati cannot speak Gnoll, and so does not know what they are talking about, though she can likely hear the voices. She is trying to remain hidden, her crossbow at the ready.

Mohgwier nudges Sati's hand with her muzzle. The silver haired girl looks down and smiles at her brave companion.

"Better than Mohgwier does it. Should the worst come about, she can still be saved. We have no way to bring you back, Gruthic."

"It could be done, but in order to summon such a creature, I would have to dismiss Mohgwier. I would not be able to summon her again quickly enough to take part in the conflict. I dislike going into a conflict without her..."

"We already saw a small group some out to investigate the noise in the pesh fields. Maybe we could arrange something similar again, and be lying in wait for them..."

Sati moves closer to the edge of the pit, and stands ready to help pull anyone free should they attempt to climb out.

For a split second, Sati reacts with shock as Muqaq sinks below the sand; then hearing him shout and realizing the danger, she reaches out and casts a spell to aid Mohgwier in confronting the beast.

I'm here, just haven't really had time to post. Finals were this week, and before that it was end of term projects. I've been reading along, but didn't have much to add.

Sati spends her morning in the Sanctuary. She is up before dawn, and spends more time trying to clean and cleanse the profaned alter that lies there. She does the best she can to get what is left of the filth off of it, after the others tried to wash most of it away. When the sun rises, she does her ablutions there, bowed in prayer. Mohgwier waits quietly off to one side. After the morning prayers are done, she moves outside to where the other's are standing.

"Good morning, Dawnflower shine on you. Greetings gentlemen," she nods to Gruthic and Akhom, "Are you going to join us on this endeavor? What is our next step, Muqaq?"

"Muqaq led us as well as anyone could have under the conditions. Those gremlins, the jackel-rats, they had the entire site rigged with traps, and it took a great effort to root them out. The vulture thing was larger than any horse I've ever seen, and was a formidable opponent. Gin was killed in the course of battle, and there is nothing anyone could have done to prevent it, other than burn down the monastery, which would go directly against our objective. Tarin... he died bravely, but he died trying to take on that bird; a task none of us could have accomplished alone."

"I feel as well that Muqaq has done an admirable job, and I feel comforted with the knowledge that he is in the lead."

"The dagger has an enchantment that gives it a modest boost to how effective it will be in combat. The light is a permanent effect, and it could be used as a torch by anyone who cannot see in the dark.

It's a +1 Dagger.

Sati is shocked as well, and does her best to react quickly. She raises her crossbow and targets the slime threatening her Eidolon.

Sati takes a step away from Xanyon in order to get enough space to target the creature flying about him.

Sorry, hope you weren't waiting on me. I had a really busy weekend with my kids.

Sati stands ready with Xanyon, and when he is ready to fire, she lets off a bolt from her crossbow. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 111d8 ⇒ 1

Mohgwier will have trouble reaching those creatures unless they come down. I can be ready though, with this. She pats her crossbow, ready and loaded.

"It's too heavy for me as well. We should see if the same happens to the rest of the armour as well. If it can be used, you should wear it, Seif. I think you are the only one of us so trained."

Sati helps to strip the armour from the little King's body.

Sati finishes her own prayers before approaching the others. (Apparently she was out of sight, and no one noticed her going through her morning routines.)

"Those items favor those who approach their adversaries in close. I would prefer to hang back in most cases and allow my celestial friends to attack. I think the Phylactery should remain with one who serves the Dawnflower more directly than I. I am dedicated to her, wholly, but my power is not drawn from her as yours is. Mohgwier can wear magic items, so there may be occasion when using the ring would suit him, but it is not strictly necessary for him to wear it all the time."

Sati raises her crossbow and fires at the nearest bird at which she has a clear shot. 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 81d8 ⇒ 7.

If only I'd had time to summon Mohgwier!

The dog she had summoned jumps clear of the flames, chasing after one of the birds. Move to B7 | Attack on C18: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 161d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Sati concentrates again, bringing in another dog to defend the fallen men. (A17)

Sorry for my absence. I got really busy with school work and haven't been checking in.

Sati will move in closer (-D16) and them summon another dog to defend the downed companions. The dog will appear standing over Kalb's body (since Tarin's space is occupied) and then attack the bird eating Tarin.

The dog in in line to be attacked by three birds, so he probably won't survive long, but hopefully he can divert a few attacks from the downed men while he does it.

Sati closes her eyes in concentration for a moment, and then summons another dog, this one right within the nest. It appears and attacks the Geier. 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Sati reloads her crossbow and fires again, hoping to kill the little bastard.

Sati curses in frustration as her summoned dog is destroyed. She takes aim at the pugwampi king with her crossbow, and fires.

With a look of concentration, Sati calls out and brings another creature into being. A large dog comes into existence on the floor of the chamber below, and races towards the King. Rounding the alter it attacks with a savage bite. Smite Evil +1 damage. 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 81d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Sati loads again and fires, aiming for the diminutive king, now on the ground level below. 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 141d8 ⇒ 4

Sati quickly reloads her crossbow and takes aim at the King again. 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 111d8 ⇒ 3

Wish I could redirect the eagle at the King, but the rules say you need to be able to communicate.

Sati struggles again, still trying to repair her broken crossbow. 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 181d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21. If there is room, she'll move up the ladder with the others.

Sati continues to move towards the team, hopping up onto a pew to do so. Finishing in -S3. Once there she spins around to get a better look at the gallery and with a flurry of motions wills a new creature into existence to take on her foes.

Summon an Eagle to -W-9.

With a screech the eagle bowls into the stunned pugwampi with its talons outstretched, aiming to knock him off the beam. Bullrush: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (6) - 1 = 5.

After seeing Mohgwier fall, Sati gasps. Her connection to thh eidelon tells her she is injured, but still capable of fighting. Sati eyes the beams above with a frown and makes a decision. Another kind of creature is needed here. She closes her eyes, and Mohgwier fades from existence.

Once she is gone, Sati continues her travels into the room. Move to S8, if I've counted the difficult terrain spaces correctly. She'll be keeping the bear trap Seif mentioned in mind, and not jump down if she can't find it.

I have no ranks in craft or disable device, and I think both of those need to be trained to use. Can I make a raw Int or Dex roll?

Sati inverts her bow, struggling to fix the weapon as quickly as possible.

Not feeling she's a good enough shot to hit the rope, Sati changes her aim and draws a bead on the gremlin on the corner of the choir balcony.

With an exasperated sigh at the unlucky, ill-timed shot, Sati reloads again.

Sati takes what careful aim she can, aiming for the ropes, just above the lowered bone cage. When ready, she looses her shot.

Sorry for me as well. It's end of term for me, and I've just finished exams now. Hopefully I'll be able to check in more frequently.

Sati and Mohgwier are in position. Sati will stay back and fight from range, while Mohgwier will go in with the melee fighters.

As the team gets into position, Sati leans down and touches Mohgwier's head, casting Magic Fang.

"Mohgwier and I are connected; he can only go so far before that connection begins to strain. I will have to go with them, or at least trail somewhat behind, if Mohgwier is going to scout ahead."

An Eidelon starts to take damage if he goes more than 100 ft away from the summoner.
