Round 8:

Initiative Order: Sati, Gin, Seif, Xanyon, Pugwampis, Muqaq, and Tarin.

Sati moves across a pew and turns to summon one of her celestial creatures. It hits into the pugwampi clumsily for such a graceful bird, but the stunned pugwampi is an easy target. A 5 hits its CMD! It spins and falls from the beam, uttering a little scream as it tries to break its fall. Acrobatics: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9. It breaks something else instead. 2d6 ⇒ (6, 3) = 9. Its neck crunches in its headfirst dive, and it lies still on the ground.

Gin moves out on the beams, trying to maneuver over them. 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 261d20 + 9 ⇒ (9) + 9 = 18. He makes it. Ending in -U-10. He cannot reach the King from there, so he strikes an intimidating martial pose instead. Intimidate: 1d20 ⇒ 20. The King is shaken.

Seif sees the injured Tarin wobble to his feet, and prepares a healing touch as the injured man approaches.

Xanyon moves towards the group, and the ladder, but the movement fails to bring any more creatures into view. Only Gin is visible as the pugwampis seem to be concentrated on the cloth floor up above.

The pugwampis are frightened of Gin, but apperantly more frightened of the bird, a natural enemy of theirs. Three turn and fire their bows at it. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 211d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 91d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12. Only one of the tiny stinging arrows is able to hit it. The other two turn their fire on Gin. 1d30 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 171d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5. Neither is able to connect.

The King is wary of Gin, and though he hefts his hammer, he does not yet step forward.

No sooner than Muqaq gives his instructions is the gremlin on the center beam tossed to the ground. He glances around to regain awareness of where all his allies presently stand.

Tarin stumbles over the Seif, in order to receive his healing. You'll need to use another of your Agile Feet uses to get there in one turn though.

No probs, that makes 3 of 5 gone.

Tarin drops his blade and draws his longbow, nocking an arrow and aiming at the wampi with the glowing weapon, drawing on the guidance of his god.

Round 9:

Initiative Order: Sati, Gin, Seif, Xanyon, Pugwampis, Muqaq, and Tarin.

Sati examines the jammed arrowhead in the bolt track of her crossbow, and finally sees how to get it free. With a satisfying clink, it falls out and is lost among the bits of rubbish on the floor. She then dashes up the ladder. Her eagle moves to attack the next closest target (T-6), and rakes at it with a clawed talon. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 141d4 ⇒ 2. It hits and draws blood from the tiny creature.

Gin prepares to lash out, hoping that the pugwampi king will come close enough for him to strike. 1: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 61d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17, 2: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 51d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8.

Seif moves to the top of the ladder and gains a view of all the creatures gathered on the tarps.

Xanyon waits at the bottom of the ladder. Your message doesn't say anything about him climbing it if Sief and Tarin make it up. Was that supposed to be implied?

The Pugwampis concentrate their fire again, first three shots at the bird, and then two more at Gin. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 111d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 221d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12, 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 111d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12. The eagle is struck once again, but Gin's quick moves keep the other shots from connecting.

The King steps up to Gin, causing the later to unleash his attacks. Unfortunately, ill luck prevents them from coming anywhere near the critter. The flurry of movement destabilizes Gin Acrobatics: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 131d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16 and he slips. Acrobatics: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 171d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12 He tries to catch himself, but miss-times his reach. As he windmills at the edge, the tiny King attacks his knee with the mity glowing hammer. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14 He misses. Gin falls to the ground, trying to break his fall. Acrobatics: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 111d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16, Damage: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 2) = 7.

Tarin moves past the slow moving Maquq and scrambles up the ladder. Muquq starts up behind him, moving very slowly with the weight and awkward size of the trap dragging him back. A double move will get him up 15 ft.

Round 10:

Round 10:

Initiative Order: Sati, Gin, Seif, Xanyon, Pugwampis, Muqaq, and Tarin.

Sati aims with her crossbow, and strikes the chieftain right in the chest. He is momentarily knocked sprawling by the force of the impact, but he bounces to his feet quickly. The eagle does not seem to be affected by the unluck aura, so it only needs one roll for each attack. The eagle flails at the gremlin in front of it, but unfortunately fails to land a blow.

Gin stands wearily from the place he fell, and moves slowly back towards the ladder.

Seif sends a sling stone screaming towards his enemies, but can't seem to hit one.

Xanyon climbs to the top of the ladder, just after Muqaq, and looks around at the gremlins that remain.

The Pugwampis aiming at the bird continue their fire, the one in the fight with it stepping back a stride before loosing his shot. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 101d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 91d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17. One shot finds the bird again, evoking a screech from the eagle.

The King moves to the center of the chamber where the main beams cross, raises his hammer high, and brings it down on the cross beam. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13 The old rotted beam splinters under the strength of his blow. With the loss of a support beam, the whole choir balcony shifts, and drops at the southern end, tilting the whole platform at an odd angle that threatens to tip everyone onto the floor below. Ominously, the benches begin to slide. The last two up, Muqaq and Xanyon, dodge sideways to avoid the benches that would otherwise carry them right off. Reflex Xanyon: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18, Reflex Muqaq: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (20) + 3 = 23. Both manage to clear the path. Gin, being directly below the southern end of the platform looks up just in time to see the benches come sliding off the end of the platform towards him. Frantically, he moves to dodge out of the way. Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10 Both benches crash down upon his position. 2d6 + 2d6 ⇒ (1, 5) + (5, 3) = 14. He is lost to sight under the large wooden seating.

Tarin regains his feat and moves cautiously up the sloping balcony to the second beam.

Sati fires her crossbow at the chieftain, but it goes high. The eagle slashes and pecks at a pugwampi, and while his blows rain down and tear the thing's ratty clothing, the attacks don't seem to be inflicting injury.

Seif slings a stone, and nails a minion in the head. His skull makes a thwaking crunch and dark blood sprays as the creature keels over.

Xanyon fires a shot with his pistol, the thunderclap booming in the enclosed space of the sanctuary. The bullet hits the chieftain, spinning him around and again spraying blood.

The Pugwampis continue to fire their arrows at the bird, while a fourth runs to the side of his king. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 191d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 201d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22 This time all the shots hit. The bird screeches, falling to the ground, and then fading away.

The King runs along the beams to the second beam, and then takes a wide stance. To the tiny foot tall creature, the beams are as wide as sidewalks, and he moves along them with no difficulty. Once in position, he winds up with his mighty glowing hammer and takes a two handed swing at the second beam. With rising panic, you all recognize that if he destroys that beam, the connections to the wall will not hold up this platform. It will tip you all to the floor, 20 ft below, and then in all likelihood, come down atop you. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5. Xanyon fires on the last minion.

I don't speak his language, I've seen their trickery, and I think poor Gin is dead under that pile of wood. And we're not being paid to elf this job, as my old bosses would say.

Pistol Deadly Aim: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 181d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Hp: 9/11

Argh, now the king's taken cover I probably need 20 to hit... Going to have to drop bow and run downstairs again. Not winning in the action economy stakes, sorry folks.

Brother Larvendi drops his bow and runs to the ladder, descending quickly.

Sorry DM, on my phone - can you position me appropriately?

Round 14:

Initiative Order: Sati, Seif, Xanyon, Pugwampis, Muqaq, and Tarin.

Sati takes aim at the King and strikes him dead center with her quarrel. However, the bolt fails to penetrate from some reason and falls to the ground rather than skewer him as it should.

Seif throws a stone from his sling at the gremlin king, but the shot is wild and misses.

Xanyon fires a shot at the last standing pugwampi minion. The bullet impacts his shoulder, and tears an arm off, sending it spinning away. The thing lets out a high pitched squeal as it falls writhing on the canvas.

The King drops steps out from the alter and rushes forward, getting under the choir platform and out of the view of those on top. It also brings him face to face with Muqaq. Smiling devilishly, he raises his hammer and pats it menacingly. Couldn't charge, and couldn't quite get to you. Lucky devil.

Muqaq takes a shot at the now up and close gremlin chieftain. The firebolt hits and elicits a grunt from the king.

Tarin drops his bow and races to get into the battle. I've placed you where you would have been able to reach with another Nimble Moves. Please let me know if you dropped your bow on the choir platform, or to the ground below.

Muqaq backs up, trying to stay away from that glowing hammer in his already injured state. Seeing Tarin nearby he points his finger at the chief and tries to stun him again.

Daze, on King, DC 16
Move back to one square north of the ladder.
