I just want people to put our tools and equipment back after using it.

I realize that's a lot to ask.

This should be fun.

In other news, Weather Underground, my usually-oh-so-reliable weather source, seems to be going the way of, "We don't care any more" weather reporting.

If you look at the 10-day forecast, the highs for the next 10 days are supposed to be in the low 70s or high 60s, including a high of 75°F today.

Yet all the local news agencies are reporting a major heat wave in the area, and if you look at the daily forecast, it predicts a high of 80°F.

So, er, Weather Underground? If your daily forecast differs from your 10-day forecast for the same exact day at the same exact time by 5°F, you have some kind of synchronization error going on in your system...

80 degrees, wow, that's some heat wave!

It's a good thing we have more than a month left of winter.

It's a good thing we got all that rain right before the temperature plunge. Nothing like a healthy quarter inch covering of ice to turn the morning commute into an adventure.

Please note: We commute almost entirely by foot so at least we don't have to drive in this.

Damn is it a cheery morning.

Oh good, it's raining again, just what we need.

Oh darn, our trip to San Francisco is the same week my entire family rents houseboats on some mosquito infested lake in the northwoods to bicker and fight.

Bummer.

I'm not a particular fan of warm weather, but after 2 weeks of on-again, off-again rain clearing out the atmosphere and feeding the plants, a nice 65-degree day with a deep, deep blue sky, a gentle breeze, and all the windows open is just nice.

Too bad it's supposed to go up into the 70's tomorrow.

Gee, how terrible that must be.

Yeah, 68 degrees sure sounds cold.

Oh gee, that sounds terrible, however will you survive such temperatures.

Bravo to whoever thought it would be a great idea to have a huge train go through downtown during rush hour.

Someone really thought that one through.

Shocked I say!

No buddy, you did great there.

I can't think of any way you could've done better.

No need to be sarcastic.

puts rare priceless crystalline bird in back pocket, where surely someone as bright as myself won't sit on it. Please.

Because liberals have so many websites where we don't get harassed.

I see what you did there.

At least the Packers showed up at home...
