One Punch Man, Season 2, Episode 1: As expected, the animation is terrible. The voice acting went into the toilet. But... they're still following the manga fairly closely, so I'm hoping the story remains solid. But yeah, living up to the global expectations of a massive decline in quality due to switching to a "big box" studio is not a good thing.

Captain Marvel: We all thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It's not a, "Get up on your seats and cheer" movie, but it was an excellent way to spend an afternoon with friends.

That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime: Utterly delightful. We ended up binge watching for nearly 3 hours last night. It's not great anime, but it's light-hearted, entertaining, and fun to watch. What more can you ask for?

EDIT: Yes, clothes are too much to ask for.

you aren't watching this...dubbed...are you?

What does "dubbed" mean?

Such atrocities do not exist in MY universe...

You sound like Thanos... Er, I mean, Cable.

Also, are you a playstation fan? Your name backwards is Sony, Well technically it's Sonysdrol but, you know, Sony can be Droll.

Haha, thank you, I'm honoured. :)

I'm actually more of a Nintendo guy, though I do own a PS4, and owned a PS & PS2 before it. It's actually an anagram of my full name. :)

Martha!?!

Sure, I'll fight Grimace!

I'm pretty sure Thanos broke his gauntlet jerking Spiderman out of existence.

I figured out how to move bodies by holding down the X button so as soon as I find a place with a s#&!load of raiders I'm totally going to try to spell out Francis.

Geez, they're getting just as bad as the X-Men. How many time lines do you need.

Is no one seriously going to tell him what happened to Hydra!?!

Hey, buddy! Good news and bad news. Good news, you're getting a promotion! Yay, right! The bad news is, Captain America wiped his ass with all your friends, so, good luck.

Ground up reboot for FF and x-men is what I would want. If Jackman wanted to play the new wolverine I'd be ok with that still.

Really the main reason I want the FF is because of all the villains and characters surrounding them more then the FF themselves.

How many different timelines do we f~$+ing need.

It's SO nice living in a place with good neighbors and a good police department.

It's Farmer's Market day, so some jerk in a BMW made an illegal U-turn on our street, hit the Celica, and drove off.

Isn't that a redundancy?

Local joke:

"How do you make a beetroot* salad? Throw a grande into a BMW!"

*beetroot (burak) is casually used to refer - among many other meanings - to someone very crude, jerk.

That's pretty dark, you must be in the DC Universe.

I certainly didn't bust out my phone as I was watching the movie for the first time and make this alias. That would be f@~#ing crazy.

Oh wait, that's exactly what I did.

That was a nice weekend.

On Friday, I went over to Actual Lady Longears (Diamond Edition)'s house, where we got out the African recipe book (ALL (DE) is Afro-British; I am not) and cooked chicken in groundnut paste with rice, which was very nice. On Saturday, we went to the seaside, and it only rained a bit.

This morning, one of my friends was selling swords at an antique arms fair, so I went too, to give him a bit of support, and bought two yataghans for much, much less than I've seen them go for online. Shame that every other table was piled high with Nazi memorabilia...

we may be distantly related. According to ancestry.com, that is where my ancestors are from on my mother's side.

Went to see Logan tonight. Was a bit more depressing than I expected, but I really enjoyed it.
Heard it was good, looking forward to seeing it, and discovering an explanation for Logan's apparent aged appearance!

Personally, I don't like depressing super hero movies.

Does not interest me at all.

Yeah, but you just know that at the end Logan will go back in time again, all the X-Men will pop up with a map to the Fountain of Youth, or whatever.

I won't believe in a sad X-Men movie until I see it.

That's What happens when you kill off (or sew their f$#!ing lips shut!) all your best characters in every movie.

Too many time lines for anyone to any f$&!ing sense of whatsoever!

And action figures!
