Hello, everyone.

Hello, John.

Yup, snow.

Same thing as every weekend and whatnot.

Anyone else notice pressing three buttons on the microwave makes the same sound as the first three bass notes from Another One Bites The Dust.

I don't know what Seattle is complaining about, we've been averaging 5-10 inches a snowfall every few days for going on 5 weeks now and we still have PLENTY of lettuce and kale.

What do I have to sacrifice for an earlier spring.

Yeah but February has everyone especially grumpy.

All gloom and no doom make people go something, something...

Man, do I miss summer, and spring, and even winter.

Know I know what it must be like on Triaxus.

Blame be unto Cosmo for the unholy mix of Spring and Winter Weather I have been experiencing.

Just wait until tomorrow! It isn't over yet.

Spring Break!!!, allegedly, Whoo hoo!!!, supposedly.

On a The Awesomes binge today.

Started out 12 degrees when we went to school, dropped down to 5 degrees by noon and we've since rebounded up to 7.

Yesterday at this time it was 42 degrees.

Eye twitches, ever so slightly.

Winter is never over.

We supposedly got up to 1 degree today, I seriously doubt it ever felt that warm though.

1-3 inches of snow tonight into tomorrow! It's going to be so f#&!ing magical!

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Oh good, it's ten degrees, I wondered when it was going to get chilly.

I dare anyone, anyone at all to hit me in the torso with a club.

With my winter layers I'm currently wearing 25 pounds of padded armor.

I'm practically indestructible!

The garden is shut down and is now officially a sled hill, snow TBD.

Folds arms and taps foot impatiently while standing two feet behind Freehold, exaggeratedly checks watch every few minutes.

Nothing like walking half way to the store on a cold blustery day before realizing you forgot your money to take the wind out of your sails.

Also, thirty degrees with thirty mile an hour wind gusts is probably not ideal shorts weather.

The wind is cruel today.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I remember sixty degrees.

Barely.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Yay!

They moved the snow in the forecast from Saturday night to Sunday morning.

We might actually get to see it this time.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Some snow would be cool.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

More like 4-6 inches of slush. :-/

We've decided, that with it being forecast to be icy and cold all weekend we're going to hibernate it away.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Winter will do that to a person.

You all secretly, deep down, yearn for snow.

Otherwise there wouldn't be ski resorts.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

You can have ours, it's all hard and dirty now though.

I should see when we'll get more. I'd love to pack in a whole bunch of big storms before spring, it's the long, cold, silence of late winter that gets to me.

Something about being alone with my thoughts for long periods of time make Captain Yesterday go something, something...

1 person marked this as a favorite.

It was -8 when I woke up this morning.

It's currently 1 degree.

Supposedly we're going to get up to 5 degrees, but I doubt it.

Dragon Dragon!!

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Made it up to -3 degrees already! That's our projected high! Anything above that is a happy bonus!

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Currently -5 degrees, but the windchill brings us down to -20.

Just something to think about the next time y'all complain that 50 degrees is "cold"

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Big storm is imminent.

And inch (of snow) tonight, just to get it started. Then tomorrow into Saturday 7-10 inches (of snow) with gusty winds and subzero temperatures to go along, just to make things... interesting?... I guess.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Yeah!! We're up to 11 degrees! With a windchill of 0! Zero!!!

strips naked, jumps in the nearest snowbank to make Snow Captain's.

High for Wednesday now expected to be 4 degrees.

3 people marked this as a favorite.

High temperature for Tuesday is 6 degrees.

So yes, I'll take as many cats as you can spare.

Every little bit of body heat helps!

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Highest high temperature for the next comes on Monday, or Tuesday. A sweltering 28 degrees! Otherwise it's only upper teens for the next several days.

At least it isn't getting cold yet. :-)

1 person marked this as a favorite.

You should me in January.

All snow and no sun make Captain Yesterday go something, something.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Yesterday they said 78 for today.
Now they say 84 today.

I love spring!

I apologize, oh powerful Cosmo, they know not what they mean, they're simple countryfolk after all.

... No, still not getting the core concept.

They're actually 75 cents, and I know, it's always nice to hear what other people think, that is all. :-)

Edit: also what Tacticslion said, space can be a premium, when the walls are slowly closing in...

1 person marked this as a favorite.

G&!~+&n cold out.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

You don't know what a cold winter night truly feels like, but I agree whole heartedly with what you say. :-)

I'm just fine, never better!

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Oh, joy!

Another rain-snow collage of weather on tap for Sunday, that isn't getting old...

Frozen tundra and waiting for wife to get ready to go out make Captain Yesterday go something, something...

Unlike Freehold, I have a limit.

Too cold for too long make Captain Yesterday go something, something...

We hope to claw our way to 12 degrees today, the beginning of the thaw (hopefully) at least for the next week we'll slowly climb above freezing, maybe.

The Important thing to remember is, there's only four months left, tops. Which means winter is almost half over.

yay

no it ain't.

Winter in Wisconsin does not abide by the changing of seasons, winter lasts here from beginning of November until the middle to end of April.

That's just what winter does.
