Tarin Larvendi |

Tarin drops his bow and races to get into the battle. I've placed you where you would have been able to reach with another Nimble Moves. Please let me know if you dropped your bow on the choir platform, or to the ground below.
Hmmm. I don't have my CRB with me - does the bow take a full 2d6 Dmg if I drop it? I think from memory it has hardness 5 and 5 hp... If it takes a full 2d6 I'll drop it upstairs, if it takes half damage I'll drop it onto the lower floor.
I'll use my last remaining [i]agile feet to ignore the difficult terrain, charging the little bugger if I can.
Tarin flows across the pews and rough ground as if it didn't exist, brandishing his weapon as he closes on the pugwampi. "For Cayden, Sarenrae, and freedom!"

Ok, so I've looked through my CRB, I can't see anything about items and falling damage, so I'll have to assume they take full damage. Thus, I'll have dropped the bow upstairs.
Also an attack roll is probably useful. I don't know where the King will be and so whether I'll be able to charge him, so DM please just add the charge bonus if applicable.

Round 15:
Initiative Order: Sati, Seif, Xanyon, Pugwampis, Muqaq, and Tarin.
Sati climbd quickly down the ladder. Upon reaching the bottom she raises her loaded crossbow and looses an arrow at the King. The arrow hits, sticking into the small man's body.
Seif slings a stone at the screaming, disarmed Pugwampi, and the cries cut off with a whump.
Xanyon sees the last pugwampi minion fall, and so raises his gun, drops down the ladder, and raises it again to shoot the king. The shot hits, creating another small spray of blood. The king however does not want to give up.
The King steps forward and brings his hammer down at the mystic, Muqaq. PA: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12. The hammer passes within a hair's breadth of the sorcerer, as he flings himself backwards to avoid the blow that might have otherwise ended him.
Muqaq straightens up after his dodge, and moving backwards throws out another dazing spell at the gremlin King. Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20. He shakes off the affect.
Tarin charges over the rubble, sweeping with his huge blade. However, the blade swings high over the head of the little creature. Remember to make two d20 rolls in melee, please.

Round 16:
Initiative Order: Sati, Seif, Xanyon, Pugwampis, Muqaq, and Tarin.
Sati fires her crossbow, but while trying to shoot clear of Tarin, overcompensates and sends her bolt flying off to the right.
Seif Slides down the ladder and moves into range with the nasty little creature.
Xanyon loads his pistol and fires at the King again. He hits him in the chest, creating a nasty looking wound.
The king is bloodied, and exhausted, covered in gore, blood, and spitting the liquid from his tiny pointed teeth. However, he is still not dead. He raises his hammer again and attacks Tarin. PA: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11. Tarin knocks the blow aside with his curve-blade.
Muqaq casts a dazing spell on the King again, hoping to hold him still so he might be finished. Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9. This time his eyes go blank, and he looks stunned.
Tarin swings his blade, but is still unable to get the tiny little monster lined up with his blade's path.

As the monster does not pose a significant threat, and actions are settling into a repeating pattern, I am going to fast forward a bit, if that is alright with you.
Initiative Order: Sati, Seif, Xanyon, Pugwampis, Muqaq, and Tarin.
Sati fires her crossbow, sending a bolt over the monster's head.
Seif strikes out at the pugwampi, but ill luck destroys his timing and causes the blow to miss.
Xanyon loads his pistol and fires at the King again. He fires, but the shot goes wide this time.
The bloodied king stands dazed, unable to act.
Muqaq repeats his dazing spell on the King again. Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 He remains stunned and blank faced.
Tarin swings his blade, but misses.
Sati fires her crossbow again, 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 161d8 ⇒ 8. The bolt impacts his armour and deflects off.
Seif attacks again 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 101d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8, but misses.
Xanyon loads his pistol and fires at the King again. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9. The shot goes wild.
The bloodied king stands dazed, unable to act.
Muqaq repeats his dazing spell on the King again. Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25. He finally shakes off the affect.
Tarin swings his blade, 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 221d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 but misses.
Sati fires her crossbow again, 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 101d8 ⇒ 7. The bolt misses.
Seif attacks again 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 161d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20, the blow glances off the King's armour.
Xanyon loads his pistol and fires at the King again. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20. Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 The shot hits him dead center of his chest. The king looks down at his chest and sees the hole through his heart. The glazed look returns to his eyes, and he falls to the ground.
Combat is over.

Seif-al-Din ibn-Subhi |

Heh. So we did not *quite* get to 20 rounds ;-)
Seif-al-Din breathes a sigh of relief when the 'king' falls to the ground.
"I am glad that that is finally over!"
He mutters a brief prayer of thanks to the Dawnflower, and then moves over to the rubble pile, to see if Gin is still alive.
After that, he will start searching the room more thoroughly.

DM Stormwind |

Pulling the benches off of Gin is not that difficult. While the are quite heavy, perhaps a few hundred pounds each, they are also quite long, and moving one end or the other takes quite a bit less effort. Unfortunately for Gin, he took their full force end on when they fell upon him.
There is no sign of any specific wound on him that would on its own be lethal, but the Undine is unfortunately dead. There is no sign of struggle in his position under the ruins, so it is likely he was knocked unconscious or killed by the initial impact.
I was not actually intending to remove Gin by killing him, as I usually prefer to exit characters via story means, just in case the player resurfaces later with a good explanation and I decide to allow them to rejoin the game. However, it worked out quite organically that the benches were being dropped on him. The initial damage did not kill him, but reduced him to -10, where his Con is 13. That gave him only 3 rounds to live, so he officially expired in round 14. Rest in peace, Gin.

Seif-al-Din ibn-Subhi |

Seif-al-Din sighs when he sees that Gin has expired.
"May Pharasma judge you quickly, and agreeably. We were only acquainted a short while, but I know that you deserve at least that much."
He then reaches forward, and gently closes Gin's eyes, before turning to the others.
"Gin deserves a proper burial. He was one of us. However, I still feel we should finish clearing-out this place before we report back to our employer. What say the rest of you?"

Muqaq al-Varisi |

"Do any of you have the energy left to heal my leg?" Muqaq asks, pointing to his mangled bloody limb. Wincing, he continues "It's not exactly comfortable. We should rest first, and recover our full magical strength. Then we can bury Gin, make sure the rest of this place is clear and then go fetch the caravan. The sooner we have a home base to fortify in this dangerous land the better I'll feel."
I wonder if this was the church where my mother worked? Perhaps there's something left of her here...

Seif-al-Din ibn-Subhi |

Seif-al-Din nods to Muqaq.
"Of Course."
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2.
Wow. It appears that the Dawnflower does not like Muqaq ;-)

DM Stormwind |

Wow. The Everlight seems to be phoning it in tonight. Ouch.
A search of the room reveals a lot, but little of it is pleasant. Midden heaps lay everywhere, and everything stinks of faeces and old urine. Rotting food is all over the place, from rotting hunks of meat on small lizard bones, to unidentifiable vegetables rotted or covered with mold. A few small holy items and scattered coins catch your eye, but the total value is minor (30 gp).
On the alter there is a medium sized heavy crossbow and a dozen bolts. The gremlins fixed the bow to the alter to use it much like a ballista, probably to ward against larger creatures like yourselves. Near the alter lay the torn and strewn pages of a copy of The Birth of Light and Truth, Sarenrae's holy book. Both it and the alter have been smeared with excrement, by deliberate intent if you had to guess.
The warriors seem to have included both males and females, though fortunately, no children. Apparently the whole community fought against you. The gear they have is useless to you at its size, though it is there for the taking if you wish it. None can imagine the poorly crafted toy-like implements would fetch much on the open market. The chieftain is better armed. He has a longbow, though still of tiny size, and the glowing warhammer. It is not sized for him, but overly large compared to his size, perhaps sized for a gnome or halfling (small). It was meant to be a one handed weapon for a wielder of that size, but was used awkwardly as a two handed weapon by the tiny King. He is clad in Breastplate, the armour appearing well made and sized.
The hammer could be used by a medium wielder at a -2, and would be a light 1d6 weapon, plus whatever enhancement bonus.
How thoroughly would you like to search, is anyone going to go up to search the loft, and are any special methods going to be used?

Seif-al-Din ibn-Subhi |

When you say 'well made', do you mean masterwork?
Seif-al-Din glances over the glowing warhammer with a Detect Magic...
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20.
Once he spots the defiled pages of the holy book, however, and the excrement-covered altar, his face is suffused with fury.
"Death is too good for these little menaces. I won't have their bodies defiling this place any longer!"
He then begins to energetically collect their bodies, and unceremoniously dumps them outside the complex.
When he returns, he eyes the rest of the room sadly, before shaking his head, and attempting to at least rinse the stink away.
Repeated use of on the altar to at least 'wash' it?
He then conducts a Detect Magic sweep of the room.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23.
"Would someone a bit more agile than I care to take a look through that... nest they had up in the rafters there? There might be something useful, although to be honest, I doubt it would be anything *we* would find interesting..."

DM Stormwind |

The hammer is a +1 hammer, and permanently glows, shedding light equal to a torch. When Seif sweeps the room with his detect magic, surprisingly the chieftain still radiates it. A closer look shows an abjurant aura emanating from his armour.

Seif-al-Din ibn-Subhi |

Seif-al-Din focuses on the chieftain's armor...
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11.
...but sighs in frustration.
"I am sure that it is only a minor enchantment, but I can't quite pin it down. Muqaq? Sati? Would you be able to take a look?"
He then nods to Xanyon.
"You are quite agile. Do you think you could take a look up in the rafters?"

Muqaq al-Varisi |

"Thanks for the healing Seif."
At the altar, "Too good indeed, pile the bodies outside, I'll burn them in a moment."
Muqaq will cast detect magic and look the armor over as well.
Spellcraft 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Remind me, how far are we in travel time from the main camp where Almah is? Are there any rooms in here with still functioning doors and either no or covered windows?

DM Stormwind |

The armour is a suit of +1 Breastplate.
Remind me, how far are we in travel time from the main camp where Almah is? Are there any rooms in here with still functioning doors and either no or covered windows?
It's about a mile, but across fairly rough terrain. It took about 2 hours to cover, if memory serves. You passed several interior rooms in the domicile area where you first entered. Some of them may have an in-tact roof.
Xanyon climbs up into the rafters again, his stomach lurching a bit as the first choir platform sways under his weight. The second platform has little of use, but Xanyon does note piles of stones set up to drop on those below, as well as a few buckets of the foul smelling grease that originally doused Tarin while you were chasing the Pugwampis. Either they never got the change to use them, or were worried about burning down the hole chapel if they lit them up in here. Moving across to the loft where the pugwampi's nested, Xanyon has to plug his nose to proceed. The pugwampi's were not big on clean living and faeces and urine smells pervade. In the corner there is what can only be described as a throne, though it is made mostly from pieces of broken wood, garbage, and other refuse. Searching through the area, Xanyon finds a small padded chest stuffed under the throne for safe keeping. The chest bears an inset lock, but the box itself does not look that sturdy.
While gathering the bodies, Seif notices that the one in the cage that hung from the ceiling has some sort of black tar coating his hands.
Paste, Blackfingers
Source Pathfinder Campaign Setting: Rival Guide.
Developed by followers of Norgorber, this inky paste aids unskilled poison-users. When smeared on the fingers, a dose of blackfingers paste prevents accidental poisoning while applying poison to a weapon, as if the user possessed the poison use ability. A single dose of blackfingers paste lasts for 1d6 hours, but the black stains the stuff creates on the user’s fingers lasts for days. A single dose of this alchemical item costs 50 gp.

DM Stormwind |

I use the term chest loosely. It's a chest to a pugwampi, but it also fit under the seat of a 1 ft tall creature's chair. It's more like a chest shaped jewelry box.

DM Stormwind |

When the storm at last past, all signs of travel had been scraped clean from the world, and only your best guess led you in the direction of Solku, and survival. Your water lasted a while, but the fresh layers of sand and grit made it too hard to see the signs to find more. Once it was gone, the heat overtook you, and the light faded...
You are not surprised to be alive; people often awake from their first encounter with the heat of the desert sun, only to parish in the cold of the desert night. You suppose that this will be your fate. Or you will fight on, and make it to daylight, but unless you find water you will never make Solku, or anywhere else.
However, your surroundings are strange. You cannot remember where you were when the heat at last claimed you, but you can't imagine it was a place like this. Starlight streams in from overhead, but you appear to be in a large depression, or bowl, with four straight walls, one lining each side. The details escape you in the darkness. You lay on a stack of sticks, bundled together with straw and brambles, and who knows what else, though a few smooth stones seem to share the space. A large mound of earth or debris forms a shadow only a few feet away.
What a strange place to take cover. How did I find this...?
As you stir, so does the mound. A large head swings around and a massive golden eye, as big as your hand, regards you in the moonlight. A wickedly sharp beak adorns the thing's face. It squawks, once, loud. and you hear a few softer squawks echo back in response.

Xanyon |

Oops, didn't even think of that.
Xanyon carefully tucks the box into a side pouch of his backpack after cleaning it as best he can, then descends. Assuming Seif points out the black hands of the caged creature.
