Are there any consistently good US chain restaurants?
Actually, yes, they do exist. They just don't exist at the price point of White Castle and Old Country Buffet. Or Denny's. Or Waffle House.
HERESY!
You clearly don't eat food.
(except Chick-fil-A, even though it's great, because politics.)

Beyond politics, I've never been impressed by their food. It's just chicken, a slice of pickle, and a touch of butter.

I'm not above some garbage food (there's a local BBQ place that does a bacon-wrapped fried hot dog covered in their chili) - but Freehold likes both White Castle and Waffle House. This I cannot condone.

And that blasted pickle is a harbinger of destruction, wreaking devastation on everything it touches. Once on the sandwich, the juices remain forever, and any hope of a pleasant meal is dashed violently against the sharp rocks of briny hell.
*joins scint in the anti-pickle front*
but I thought you pro licking things and liked to put things in your mouth to feel the texture?!
Yes. But pickles are gross.

You people are cray cray!

I was going to mention something about the fantastic animated series, but then I noticed it was "fails" instead of "falls" so I won't mention that Gravity Falls is absolutely fantastic (except for mentioning it just now).
When you are right you are right.
Yes. Gravity Falls is amazing.

Yep. It can be done. And it would be glorious.

Swash-icorns. Swashbuckling unicorns. You don't need to make special equipment for them.

Gravity falls is easy to tell if you'll like or not. Just watching the first episode will tell you if you'll like the series or not.

Yes and no. While the first episode is super-nostalgic, it's... not very good, comparatively. There are a lot of dead moments and slightly awkward comedy. Now it's super-nostalgic and I love it, but as a first impression (although powerful and great), the episode just isn't as good as others.

That said, the series really takes off only after a couple of episodes are under its belt, and season two is just so much better it almost hurts.

I luuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrvvvve Gravity Falls, for the record. Super awesome, and totally recommended, but I also wanted to clarify - the first episode is great, but it's not as good as many others! :D

Has anyone dropped any teasers about when the next One-Shots are coming out? I'm especially hyped for these for Starfinder. They are so much fun!

Hey Paizo (especially PFS and ACG) fans! In just a few short weeks (June 14-18) Columbus, OH will be playing host to Origins Game Fair and we are still looking for a few more GMs for both Pathfinder Society and the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game Guild.

GMing 4+ slots gets you a badge, 7+ slots earns a 1/4 of a hotel room or a parking pass for the weekend. Boons are awarded based on GM-tier as well.

Signups can be found here (for PFS): http://ohiopfs.org/origins/origins-gm-application/

And here (for the ACG): http://ohiopfs.org/origins/origins-acg-gm-application/

Thanks! Looking forward to seeing you there!

I know this has been discussed elsewhere, but I can't find the thread with the official ruling: What is the EXACT ruling on what to do with players who chooses to play an iconic rather than their own character (who is level appropriate for the scenario)?

The situation at hand: I've organized King of the Storval Stairs tomorrow, and several of players want to play iconics rather than their own characters (to avoid death/cheat the system). I know this is against the spirit of the rules, but I want to be able to cite an official ruling when I chide them about this.

As I recall, the ruling was that if they play an iconic, they'd have to apply the chronicle sheet to a character who is BELOW level 7 (and is thus ineligible to play the scenario), right?

Does anybody know if Paizo plans to sanction the Carrion Crown AP for Pathfinder Society credit as they have done with several of the other more recent Adventure Paths?
