"She'll probably think we got lost," Toska comments.

A dark skinned young woman answers the door. Appraising the two at the door she asks, "Yes? Can I help you?"

"Yes, sorry to bother you, but we must urgently speak with Toni." Toska tells the woman.

She sighs, "Come on in, I shoulda known this had something to do with the summoners. If you'll wait right here, I'll go get her. She was trying to rest." Rajni says as she shows them just inside the door and shuts it behind them.

Having them wait there, Rajni goes to the living room where Toni was resting on the couch and sighs again. She really hated to wake her up, but the pale looking guy said it was urgent.

"I'm sorry." She says softly before gently shaking Toni's shoulder, "Toni? Are you awake? There's a couple of guys here that say they need to talk to you. It seems pretty important."

"We still have muffins," Toska offers from the entranceway.

Rajni just shakes her head. Seeing how exhausted Toni was when she got home, Rajni seriously doubted that muffins were the answer, but it was nice of him to offer.

Toni groans and opens her eyes. "A couple of guys?"

"Now I'm turned on," Malyoxa laughs, returning the kiss. "You can't look at me that way all the time, it makes me all warm and...lusty."

She mods, "Yeah, I'm sorry. I really didn't want to wake you up, but it seemed important. There's a tall pale looking guy with muffins, and the other one is short with kinda brown hair. I just assumed it was summoner stuff since those people are the ones keeping you busy these days." She says in way of explanation.

Toni nods. "Mmm, yeah. I know them."

She wraps the blanket around her and walks out to Auric and Toska. "What's going on?"

Rajni runs to the kitchen and grabs her sandwich real quick before returning to where Toni talks to them. Looking from the guys to Toni as she eats her sandwich, she waits to hear what they have to say. If they were here to get her out in the cold again, she would see what she could do to help. She wasn't going to let her best friend end up with some horrible sickness, just because other people couldn't let her rest.

”Sorry to bother you, Toni,” Toska starts while offering her the muffin box. ”While we were buying fish at the docks I saw four more Kuroikazes loading up in a boat and heading to a western island.”

Rajni looks at Toni, wondering what he was talking about, and who those....kaze guys were....or however he said it and what they had to do with Toni.

Swallowing a bite of her sandwich she asks, "What he's talkin' bout Toni?"

Toni grunts. "I guess we better go pay them a visit."

Putting a hand on Toni's arm she says, "Hold on there Chief. You just got home a few minutes ago and you're exhausted. If you go out there like this now, without knowing what you're getting into...you could end up hurt or worse. We don't know anything about these guys and you already look like you're trying to get sick. Why don't you stay here and rest, I'll go with them to Barclay to let him know what's going on, we can grab some other of your summoner friends to deal with them....that don't look like they're trying to get sick, and we'll deal with them. You need rest." She repeats as she looks pleadingly at Toni.

Toska nods. ”It would be wise to plan and ready before rushing in, we know there’s at least six here, what’s to keep there from being six more?”

She looks at Toska, "If there are bad guys hanging out around our home...or near it, I'd like them dealt with sooner rather than later. I am assuming that these guys are bad from the way you're acting. Correct? We should at least assess the situation, but we need people that don't look like they're trying to get sick." She says with a pointed look at Toni.

Looking back at Toska she says, "Let me see what she wants to do. Personally, I don't think she should be going anywhere right now except to maybe a bath and bed, but I'm not her momma, so I'll let her make that choice on her own." She says, giving Toni a worried look as she expresses her concern.

She pauses for a moment, "Sooo...you saw six here? As in town here? When? Are they dangerous? If you saw six here in town, and you saw four leave...they might be going somewhere to meet up with more? Who knows...there's way too many variables here and I don't like it." She says, while trying to calculate things in her head and think of possible scenarios.

Rajni takes another bite of her sandwich and chews thoughtfully while tyring to give Toni a minute to think things through and decide what she wanted to do. She understood that Toni felt responsible for these people, but who was taking care of Toni?

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Toni says. "It's my responsibility to deal with the Summoners' enemies. No matter how I feel, I have to be there to lead and protect my fellow Summoners. If you want to come along, Rajni, I won't stop you, but I'm going too."

She looks at Toni, "I get that....but what if you get sick? I mean like really sick? Who's going to lead them then?"

"I'm not going to get sick."

She looks at Toni a bit skeptically, "Are you sure? Cuz if you do you'll have to take medicine and you probably won't like it."

"I'll be fine," Toni says, coughing.

She shakes her head, "Uhhuh....riiiiight. You totally don't sound like you're getting sick at allllll." Rajni says before taking another bite of her sandwich and takes a moment to look closely at her friend for other signs that she might be coming down with something. She was no healer, but she could tell if someone was sweating when they shouldn't be, and she knew what color Toni was supposed to be, or if she was shaking when she didn't usually shake.

Perception, though in this case I think a sense motive would work better: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15

Swallowing she says, "Why don't you at least rest here where it's warm while we go let Barclay know what's happening, gather the other summoners and your midwife, and we'll come get you before we go. Does that sound okay? I don't want you out in this cold any longer than absolutely necessary and you better be wearing something warmer than that." Rajni is unable to keep the worry out of her voice after hearing Toni cough.

Yeah....I'm not used to seeing people sick. Lol

Actually, that would be a Heal check.

"Unf, fine," Toni grunts. "Just let me know what's going on."

Quickly finishing off her sandwich she nods and gives Toni a kind of salute. Swallowing she says, "Yes ma'am, just as soon as I let Elena and Kama know what's going and get my tea to go. Ms. Yulia gave some of her to go cups to take home since I come in so often for coffee.

Looking at Toska and Auric she says, "I'll be right back." Turning her attention back to Toni she says, "You should really lay back down on that couch for a little bit until we get back. You're not looking good and I'm worried about you. I'm your friend so I'm just telling you like it is because I care. If I didn't, I'd keep my mouth shut." She says before going back to the kitchen to grab some things and let her sisters know what was going on.

Rajni's a little...much, lol

Hey, I'm only slightly high maintenance, and I have no control over when suspicious creepy guys decide to behave in such a way to merit intervention. Could it be some kind of trap? Possibly, butg we can't just let them roam around and do as they please. I'm also not gonna let Toni wear herself out to the point of making herself sick, for the sake of the summoners. I'm capable of running around and delivering messages. I'm sorry if itg messes with people's plans, take it out on the bad guys, whose real fault it is. Lol I just don't like that she's getting run into the ground and I feel like I have the right to be concerned. *pouty look*

"I like warm and lusty!" Hitome says with a laugh, running her fingers through Malyoxa's golden tresses. "But I promise I'll try not to look at you like this....when we're working." she continues with a wink.

"Right now though..." the paladin trails off as she kisses the sorceress again, a long deep kiss that speaks volumes and leaves them both out of breath.

Toska nods again. "When you're ready we'll run these groceries to the house and meet you at Barclay's."

Auric makes his way back to the house with Toska and quickly puts up their groceries. After that's settled, he heads to the tailor's shop with his companion and knocks on the door. "She probably isn't expecting to see us so soon."

No woories. You just make it like, "Oh, I must have forgotten we did that already" There's a lot of stuff going on, people forget things, it happens.

"Sorry, proximity to muffins is still affecting me." he says as he holds out the box to Rajni.

Okay, since there seems to be some confusion as to where people are currently at, because my sisters are technically in another thread, and I already went to the kitchen to let them know what is going on, I'm just going to post this as if it happened before I went in the kitchen. It's probably my fault for not clarifying what I was doing. So, before leaving the room...

Looking at him curiously she says, "I'm not sure why you're apologizing really. I'm sure this development has you a little concerned, so forgetting that you already dropped off your groceries is not a big deal."

Accepting the muffins she gives him a smile, "Thank you for the muffins, though you don't have to bribe us with delicious treats to get help. Toni is a good leader, and she takes her responsibilities very seriously. I just want to make sure she's not exhausting herself to the point of illness, but I understand the importance of figuring out what's going on with these Kamakazi or whatever guys, sooner rather than later."

She looks at Toni and gives her arm a gentle supportive squeeze before looking back at the pair inside their door again, "If you could just give me a minute to put these away, and let my sisters know what's going on, I'll be right back out here and I'll go with you guys to talk to Barclay and get the others. We can do that stuff, while letting Toni rest and then maybe I won't worry about her....aher....as much. I'll be right back okay?" She asks, waiting to make sure that they understand and don't leave without her before she goes back to the kitchen.

Okay, I'm sorry if it was a bit long, I'm not good at short explanations. Does that make better sense?

Okay....I'm sorry....maybe I am a tad "much". But try to see things from my perspective okay? I don't have very many friends, so I'm super protective of the ones I have. Toni comes home looking really rough, passes out on the couch, then two guys I dont know show up and start talking about these strange guys that sound like they might be bad news just show up in our town and are moving arouhnd right under our noses. I mean...I know you guys don't really need me getting in your way and stuff, but I can at least do this part for Toni and try and keep her outg of the elements as much as possible. Besides, I can't risk missing my sisters' wedding. I like my hide where it is, thank you very much.

Toni coughs again. "Don't mind Rajni, she's just trying to be helpful."

"Someone's got to look out for you, right?" Auric asks supportively. "Besides, I'm sure we can handle whatever we come across if you need to stay behind."

After the long kiss, Malyoxa takes Hitome's hand. "Let's take this somewhere more private. I can't guarantee my clothes will stay on much longer."

Let me just say in advance how sorry I am.....

After a few minutes, Rajni comes back dressed in her heavy winter hooded cloak, thick boots, and her long bow over her shoulder while she munches on slices of apple. Swallowing she says, "Alright, let's go see Barclay and let him know what's going on, then we can get the others together and bring them back here."

Hitome smiles, following Malkyoxa up to the bedroom. "In that case, we definitely should, I'm beginning to feel a little overdressed myself." she says giving the sorceress' bottom a squeeze as they head upstairs.

Drago decided to take a walk along the beach, there were still things for him to think about.

@Hitome and Malyoxa: So so sorry, but depending on how long the talk takes with Barclay you might haved time for....stuff.

Before leaving with thed two guys she goes to Toni and gives her a hug, "I'm sorry that I worry about you, I can't help it." Letting go of her she asks, "Would you like for me to find Drago while we're at it and bring him back with us as well?"

Toni shrugs. "Why not? It might be cathartic for him."

She stifles another cough. "I'm going to my room, I guess. Maybe you ought to leave Malyoxa alone for this. If...if I'm going to stay behind, there's no reason to drag her out."

"Maybe we can just get Gyrthr and Svanna," Auric ponders. "I don't know if we need that many people if we're just seeing what the Kuroikaze are up to."

"That's a reasonable option," Toni says.
