Yulia gives Toni a reassuring smile. "It's fine."

Halfpocket brings down a pair of ornate silver goblets from a nearby shelf. "What do you think?"

Jin claps her hands excitedly, "They're perfect! How much for all of that, unless there's something you think I'm forgetting love?" She asks while turning towards Laenid.

With one last squeeze to Yulia's hand, Drago stood up "We'll see you in the morning then Toni. And I'll help as best I can."

Toni gives Drago a polite nod. "Alright, I'll see you tomorrow. I'm going to go see some of the others."

She turns and leaves.

"Besides food and wine, I think we're good," Laenid replies.

"That'll be five gold," Halfpocket says.

She smiles and hands him the gold before putting everything in her bag of holding, "Thank you so much Mr. Halfpocket. Have a good evening." Looking over at her love she says, "Let's go to Hadrinn's and get a couple dinners to go and some wine, and then we can bring them back home and set up the table."

Laenid smiles and takes Jin's hand. "Okay."

"Then, we can conveniently have somewhere else that we need to be and can let them enjoy a nice dinner at home. We can go out and eat or something." She says while thinking out loud.

With her love's hand in hers, Jin makes a beeline for Hadrinn's.

Finishing her training meditation, Hitome decides to take a bath. Gathering her towel and toiletries, she heads to the bathroom, filling the tub and adding a bit of lavender oil before stripping out of her clothes and settling in.

Hadrinn smiles at Jin and Laenid as they walk into the restaurant. "Two for dinner?"

Jin nearly bounces up to Hadrinn, "Actually, we're trying to surprise our friends with a nice dinner at home and I was wondering if you could maybe make two special dinners to go with some rolls, a bottle of wine, and maybe something sweet for dessert? If you're not too busy that is? Then, once we get all set up at the house for them, then we'll come back for dinner. Is that okay with you Laenid?" She asks, batting her eyelashes at her love in an over exaggerated sweet expression. She then giggles as it is obvious that this particular idea has her very giddy.

Laenid chuckles. "Sure, I'm fine with that."

She smiles back at Hadrinn, "So..what yummy thing do you have this evening Mr. Hadrinn?"

"I've got some roast chicken and vegetables."

After Toni leaves, Yulia looks at Drago. "How do you feel about what Toni said?"

She nods, "That sounds perfect for the chilly evening. Could I please have two roast chicken dinners to go, with a roll for each, and a bottle of your finest wine pretty please?"

Hadrinn nods and heads into the kitchen. He returns a few minutes later with two dinners, rolls, a bottle of aged elven wine and a small pie. "That'll be seven gold. Mostly because the wine's expensive."

Putting everything very carefully into her bag, she takes a platinum piece and hands it to him. Giving him a grateful smile she says, "Thank you so much for all your hard work. It doesn't go unnoticed. This is all wonderful and well worth it. You're the real treasure of Valwick though if truth be known Mr. Hadrinn. You and your amazing dishes. We'll see you again after a while okay?"

Hadrinn laughs. "I await your return."

With Laenid's hand in hers, the pair head out of the restaurant and surprisingly quickly back to the house, given how much shorter Jin's legs were compaired to Laenid's.

Getting back to the house, Jin quickly starts setting things up. Putting the cloth on the table, setting the candles in the holders and putting them in the center of the table. She then sets the table. Looking at everything she nods, "That looks pretty good no? I should check on Hitome before plating the food, I wouldn't want it to get cold. I think Malyoxa should be here soon." She giggles excitedly before heading up the stairs to find her friend. She knocks first on the door to her room. Not getting an answer she moves to the bathroom and knocks, "Hitome? Are you in there?" She then waits for a reply.

"Hi Jin, yes, just finishing my bath." she replies opening the bathroom door wrapped in a towel. "You look like you got some air, did you and Laenid enjoy your walk?"

She thinks for a moment while trying not to look like she was thinking, "Uuhhh...yeah, sooo...Malyoxa is probably gonna be back soon...but Laenid and I kinda have to do something else, somewhere that isn't here. So, I picked up something for you two tyo have to eat. You know, so you don't have to worry about cooking or anything. We'll probably be out for quite a while, so we'll grab something before heading back. So, I guess I just wanted to let you know that."

Hitome's eyes narrow ever so slightly, the aasimar running a hand through her wet hair as she studies her Summner's words, expression and body language. Jin was definitely up to something, and she had a pretty good idea what....not that she was opposed to it in the least. In fact she was very much inclined to play along.

"Oh, thank you. That's very sweet of you two." she says with a smile. "I guess she would be waking up and heading over soon, I'd better get dressed."

I know right?! It's not like I'm gonna use my charm person on a friend though. I can't outright lie either. Lol I'm just being nice.

She can't quite suppress the giggle, "Sure, no problem. I'll just set it on the table for you guys."

Bouncing back downstairs she can barely contain her excitement, "She's getting ready, and Malyoxa will be here soon. I need to get this food on the table, and light the candles."

Taking the still hot food out of her bag, she carefully arranges it on the plates. She then sets the goblets and wine on the table, along with the little dessert pie and something to cut and serve it with.

She waits about another five minutes before lighting the candles. Stepping back to take a final look at the finished product she smiles, "There now, that's lovely. Okay, let me tell her we're going now." Giving Laenid's cheek a kiss she runs back up the stairs. It had taken her about 15 minutes or so to set everything up and she didn't want to be downstairs when Hitome came down and saw all that.

Getting up to Hitome's door she takes a couple deep calming breaths before knocking.

Turning to his fiance, "I'd be lying if I said I wasn't worried. Facing Chalandra is going to be the most difficult thing I've ever done. When I staked her before..........it was while she was sleeping. Cowardly I know. That's not what has me concerned. It's her taking up residence in my mind again. She's not a hospitable guest."

Answering the door in a simple white linen shirt and pants, Hitome smiles, her hair still slightly damp and draping down to her shoulder. "Hey. That was refreshing. So did you say you two were going out for a bit?"

She nods, "Yeah, we'll probably be out for quite a while actually. Just take your time with dinner and stuff. I brought back yummy things from Hadrinn's that I think you'll both like. Anyways, gotta get those boots on and get going. Hey, it's pretty cold too so make sure yourf hair gets dry and stay warm. The fire is still going downstairs, so it's nice and toasty." She gives her a brief hug before stepping away, "See you later okay? Have a good night."

Jin then quickly bounces back down the stairs and puts her winter stuff on. As soon as Laenid is ready she takes her hand, "Come on, let's go."

"Toni didn't make it sound like facing Chalandra was a certainty," Yulia says. "And I don't want you seeking her on your own. This baby still needs a father."

"I hope Malyoxa heads over here soon," Laenid says as they head out the door. "It would be a waste if she didn't."

"She will. I'm fairly certain of it." She says with a giggle.

Taking Yulia in his arms, "I know, I know. But I can't help but feel that she would deliberately make sure we did if she found out I was there. It's just better to mentally prepare for the possibility. We're going to have to face her sooner or later." Despite trying to sound confident, the thought of facing Chalandra terrified him more than anything.

"I know."

Malyoxa comes walking up as Jin and Laenid are walking out. "Perfect timing. Toni says we're having a meeting tomorrow morning at Yulia's cafe. Aaaaaaand I'm done..."

She turns to head back home.

Jin puts out a hand to stop her. Smiling she says, "Actually you're just in time. There's dinner for you and Hitome inside, my treat since Laenid and I are going out for a while and I won't be there to make anything....for quite some time." She gives the drow a smile.

Malyoxa narrows her eyes. "I would ask why, but I'm sure I won't like the answer."

She can't help the little giggle that escapes, "Just go enjoy some yummy food and relax. It's not a crime ya know."

"If this is a trap, your Midwife won't save you," Malyoxa says, muttering under her breath as she goes inside the house. "Hello? Anyone here?"

Jin just giggles at Malyoxa's mutterings. Turning to Laenid she smiles, "So, what would you like to do? It would seem we have the evening to ourselves my love." Taking her hand she kisses the back of it before looking lovingly up into her eyes.

"Well, you told Hadrinn we'd be back," Laenid says. "We can start there."

She smiles, "Okay."

"I'm here Malyoxa." Hitome says, coming downstairs. She pauses for a moment when she sees the table with what looked like a delicious...and decidedly romantic set up. Shaking her head in amusement she continues down the stairs to greet the other Midwife.

"For the record...I had no prior knowledge of this." she says with a chuckle.

"Your Summoner's giddiness kind of gave that away," Malyoxa says. "So...I'm guessing she wants us to...get closer..."

The normally self-assured and brash drow seemed to have trouble taking this in. "And what do you think about that?"

"Do you have any leftovers, love?" Yulia asks Drago. "I'm feeling a bit hungry again."

Laenid walks with Jin into Hadrinn's. She smiles at the dwarf. "We told you we'd be back."

Jin's smile goes from ear to ear as they enter the restaurant and Laenid greets Hadrinn.

Hadrinn returns the smile. "Sit anywhere you like."

"There should be, let me double check," Drago replied before heading to the kitchen.

He returned shortly after with another bowl, "It was a little chilled, I warmed it up."

"Thank you," Yulia says, taking the bowl. "You did pretty good with this."
