After going around town and passing out excess fish, Auric heads back home with the remainder of his and Toska's haul. "I'll fry up some fish and we can call it a night, if you want."
”Sounds good to me,” Toska happily says, he was looking forward to the fish.
Not wanting the food to get cold, and not hearing any response to Laenid's knocking, Jin sighs and walks over to the base of the stairs.
Looking up towards the rooms she hollars out a little loudly,
She then goes back to the kitchen to finish up preparations in there.
The smell of coffee, fresh scrambled eggs, fried meats, and waffles starts wafting upstairs.
When they arrive at the house, Auric carries the remaining fish straight to the kitchen and starts cooking.
Malyoxa stirs as she hears the knocking. "There's someone at the door, Hitome."
Disentangling from her lover slowly, Hitome sits up, a smile on slipping across her lips as she gazes down at Maloxya's sleepy form laying beside her. Leaning over to give her a kiss, the aasimar gets out of bed, picking up a robe from it's spot draped over a chair and slipping it on before opening the door a bit. "Hi, Laenid...we'll be down in a few minutes." she says with a smile.
Laenid smirks. "I'll let Jin know."
She heads back downstairs and walks into the kitchen. "Hitome says they'll be down in a few minutes."
"Who was it?" Malyoxa asks, slowly sitting up in bed.
Jin smiles, "Okay, I'll just start plating it up then." Jin begins putting the food on platters and sets them on the table before putting the different drinks they had and other things like the cut up fruit and honey on the table.
Going to the counter she pours herself some coffee, "Did you want some Neenee?"
"Laenid." Hitome says with a grin walking back to the bed. "Jim made breakfast."
Laenid shakes her head. "It upsets my stomach if I have that stuff too often."
Malyoxa groans slightly. "I suppose we better get down there while it's hot."
She tosses the covers off of her and stretches in the bed.
Nodding she goes to the cold box, "So, would you like milk, juice, or water?"
"Milk, please."
Hitome smiles, taking a moment to simply enjoying the beautiful sight of Malyoxa stretched out on the bed. "I suppose we should." Hitome agrees, moving to sit beside her on the bed, leaning over to give her a soft kiss.
Malyoxa returns the kiss, then sighs. "Let's get going before Jin comes up here herself."
She sits up and starts getting dressed.
"Sure thing." Jin says, pouring some milk into a tankard for Laenid.
Laughing, Hitome gets dresses as well. Once ready, she takes Malyoxa's hand and heads downstairs.
Jin looks up at the couple as they come into the kitchen, "Good morning you two. I made waffles! There's also meat, eggs, and fruit on the table. I also made some coffee this morning, and there's milk and juice." She says, getting a cup of coffee for herself.
"Coffee," Malyoxa mumbles.
Jin pours a cup of coffee for Malyoxa and sets it in front of her, "The sweetner and milk is on the table as well." She says, before setting the plates with waffles on them in front of everyone, "There's honey and sliced fruit for the waffles, and just help yourselves to whatever else you'd like." She says, indicating the serving platters of eggs and meat on the table, as well as a bowl of fruit.
Malyoxa adds some milk before adding a heaping spoonful of sugar to her coffee and stirring it in.
Jin makes up a plate with a little of everything on it and passes it to Laenid, before making up her own plate with a hearty helping of eggs and sausage, while drowning her waffle in fruit and honey. Jin licks her lips as the smells from the food make her mouth water, she could hardly wait to tear into the meal.
Laenid puts together a modest breakfast for herself. "So what's the plan for today?"
Malyoxa shrugs. "Check in with Toni, I suppose."
Nodding she says after swallowing a bite of waffle, "I hope she's okay, but she was lied to by someone that she trusted...and that is never easy to deal with." Jin seems a bit thoughtful as she takes bites of her food between sips of her coffee.
"She seemed determined to deal with it though, a betrayal like that might affect her ability to see anything but the direct approach....not that I'm opposed to that. " Hitome says as she plates some fruit for Malyoxa and some for herself.
"Except that she's not a Summoner any more," Laenid says after taking a bite of food. "And I doubt she'll want to wait for someone to train her."
She finishes the bite in her mouth before nodding again, "I'm worried that she'll let her pain and anger cloud her judgement, and that she'll rush into something shed isn't prepared for, and end up hurt or worse. There's many different kinds of grief, and she's suffered a loss of sorts, and sometimes....well, sometimes that kind of grief can make you reckless and do things you wouldn't usually do. Hyggindi manipulated her, lied to her...to all of us. Ms. Toni was very kind to me when I knew nothing of this place or it's people, I'll not let her throw herself into something dangerous alone. We came here to stop something evil from happening, and...and to set certain things right again. Even if we go about that a slightly different way now, I intend on fulfilling thed purpose for which I was sent here." Jin states with absolute conviction.
Looking around at them she kind of shrugs a little, "I'm glad that we're talking about this now because...because I don't think I could live with myself if I let her face it alone and something bad happened to her." Looking up at Laenid she gives her a trembling smile, "I know what you said before, and I want that life with you too. I just...I want you to know that if you don't want to go that I'll understand...but, this is just something I feel I have to do. I can't let her go alone, I just can't." Jin finishes a little more softly. She knew that Laenid wasn't really interested in adventuring anymore. Jin just wanted to make sure that her love knew she was okay with that, but also understand why she felt the need tho go with Toni and do whatever she could to help her. She was okay with whatever Laenid wanted to do though.
Laenid sighs. "I'm not going to let you go without knowing what might happen to you. As much as I don't want to, I'll go with you."
She looks to Malyoxa, knowing the drow was as reluctant to go out adventuring again as she was.

Malyoxa catches Laenid's gaze. "Fine, I'll go too. If only to make sure that everyone comes back safely."
Jin looks over at Hitome and wonders if she's going to want to go as well since Malyoxa is going with them.
Feeling bad that Laenid was going when Jin knew she didn't really want to, she looks at her with an apologetic expression, "I'm sorry Neenee, I never meant to make you feel like you had to do something you really don't want to." Licking her lips thatg have gone dry she says, "I never meant to make anyone feel like they had to do something they didn't want to. I...I don't really know how to say what I'm thinking, but I really appreciate the support."
Jin finishes her breakfast and wipes her mouth before looking at Laenid, "I promise you Laenid, as soon as this business with Hyggindi is settled and either he, the mana well, or both of them are destroyed or otherwise dealt with, we will never go out again unless it's to gho shopping or eat yummy food. I still want a life and a...a family with you Laenid. You are the most important person in my life, and my greatest adventure. I never want to make you feel like your feelings aren't important to me because they are."
"Well you know that I'll be there." Hitome says calmly, taking Malyoxa's hand and squeezing it gently, then looking at Jin and Laenid. "There is nowhere else I would be, when the people I care about are walking into danger"
Jin looks at Hitome and gives her a grateful smile, "Thank you...I'm glad that we'll all be together to battle the forces of evil. We can go see Ms. Toni as soon as we're done here."
Jin finishes her breakfast and waits for the others to finish theirs before she starts picking up dishes and taking them to the kitchen.
Malyoxa smirks. "'Battle the forces of evil', eh? That sounds so cliche."

"I think that's a cute turn of phrase," Laenid remarks.
Jin just sort of shrugs, "That's what it is though isn't it? I mean...Hyggindi is crazy at best, lying and manipulative and down right evil at worst...so, I don't know, "forces of evil" just seemed kinda...apt. It's not like I was trryyying to be cute or anything." She says, batting her eyelashes at Laenid.
Malyoxa shakes her head slightly as she finishes her meal.
As everyone else finishes up their breakfast, Jin goes around and collects the dishes before taking them to the sink and begins to wash them. She didn't want to leave the kitchen a mess.
Hitome smiles to herself, waitressing the contrast between Jin's idealist viewpoint, and Malyoxa's hard-earned cynicism.
"Let's go before you two start getting lovey-dovey," Malyoxa says to Jin and Laenid.
Jin sticks her tongue out at Malyoxa as she goes to get her cloak on, "Alright alright, we can go. I just wanted to clean up a little bit first. I'm ready now." She says, while pulling on her boots.
Giggling she goes to Laenid and gives her a kiss on her cheek, "Come on hunny bunny, I wouldn't want to gross Malyoxa out with our cuteness."
Hitome laughs as she gets up, "Anything you need me to grab from our room before we go? I'm going to grab my bracers and gloves just in case." she says to Malyoxa, affectionately run her fingers through back of the hair.
"Just grab my backpack," Malyoxa answers. "It has everything I need if we're leaving today."
"I'll wait and see what Toni has to say before lugging around everything I need," Laenid says, giving Jin a kiss on the forehead.
Jin giggles and takes Laenid's hand before becoming a little more serious, "I have everything I need right here." Looking from Hitome and Malyoxia back to Laenid, she smiles, "Until we have babies of course, and then we'll need other stuff." Stretching up on her toes, she gives her a kiss. Her smile as radiant as the full moon on a clear night, Jin walks out of thed house and waits for the others so she can lock up behind them.
While waiting on them she looks at Malyoxa, "Do you have your goggles Ms. Malyoxa?" She wanted to make sure Malyoxa had what she needed so she wouldn't be uncomfortable in the daylight.
"They're in my backpack," Malyoxa answers. "Hitome should be down any moment now."
