Escaline waits for Toska to head after the halfling before following behind the both of them.

At Auric's suggestion Toska promptly saunters after.

Malyoxa chuckles. "Then they won't mind what we do."

"Nope....not at all. Hitome says with a grin. The aasimar takes a seat on the bed, settling down so that Malyoxa's legs lay across her lap as she takes the bottle and carefully opens it.

Filling a glass she hand it to the sorceress, taking the other and filling it as well before setting the bottle down beside the bed.

"to turning the page to a new tale we get to write." she says gazing affectionately into Malyoxa's captivating eyes.

Auric leads Toska and Escaline to Gyrthr's home. He promptly raps on the door.

Gyrthr opens the door. "Evening. What brings you by?"

"One of those black-garbed warriors...I mean, Escaline, came to town to help Toni deal with the Blackcrown stuff," Auric answers. "Anyway, she's a bit beat up and we were wondering if Svanna could patch her up."

Gyrthr glances at the half-elf, then nods. "Come on in."

He steps aside to let the trio enter.

"And to the many, many, many happy endings we'll get to have," Malyoxa says, raising her glass.

"Good to see you again, Gyrthr." Toska happily greets the half-orc.

"And you," Gyrthr says to the duskwalker. "Been keeping out of trouble? I know it's only been a few hours but I thought I'd ask."

Escaline walks into the half-orc's home, giving him a polite nod but remaining silent.

Toska thinks for a moment before looking at Auric. "... maybe?"

"We picked mussels and ate dinner," Auric says. "If that's not keeping out of trouble, I don't know what is."

Gyrthr smirks. "I'll go get Svanna."

He turns and heads into the kitchen.

Hitome laughs at Malyoxa's double entendre, clinking her glass and taking a sip of the wine. "Mmm this is good." she says, lightly running her fingertips up her lover's leg.

Laenid smiles and strokes Jin's hair. "I'm glad you enjoyed that."

Svanna walks into the room, Gyrthr by her side. She casually looks over the half-elf before casting a couple of healing spells.

"Thank you," Escaline says. "Will you also be joining Toni in her quest?"

Gyrthr waves his hand dismissively. "No. Without the obligation to the Summoners, we are quite content to carve out a more peaceful life."

Auric nods in agreement. "That's a good way of putting it. Well...I don't think we should keep you much longer. Thanks for your help, Svanna."

Svanna simply nods before returning to the kitchen.

Auric looks to Toska and Escaline as they walk out. "Anything else we want to do before calling it a night?"

Malyoxa takes a taste of the wine. "Mmm, yes, but not as good as you."

Toska scratches his head. ”Not that I know of.”

"It'd be best to call it a night and get an early start tomorrow," Escaline answers. "I can find my way back from here. Good night."

The half-elf heads back to the Common House on her own.

Auric looks up at Toska. "Guess it's just you and me again."

”And comfy blankets for each.”

Hitome smiles warmly, feeling a warm flush moving through her that had nothing to do with the wine. "Well now you're making me hungry." the aasimar says in a sultry tone, gazing at her beautiful companion. "You're quite delicious as well." she says licking her lips as she sets her glass down on the floor.

Jin smiles as she snuggles into Laenid's side, and wrapping her arms around her love, she gives her cheek a soft sweet kiss. Laying her head on her chest she says, "There is not much that you could do that I wouldn't enjoy I think. You're so smart, beautiful, and kind. Your loving heart and tender ways have allowed me to open up and love again....and....and I never thought I'd love anyone, or be loved by anyone else again. You make me feel loved and safe, and your touch...sets my very soul on fire. You're everything to me Laenid, and I just hope that I make you as happy as you've made me." Jin looks in her eyes as she strokes her cheek lovingly.

"And books," Auric adds as he and Toska head back to the house.

Malyoxa caresses Hitome's cheek. "Feeling a bit peckish? Maybe I should let you help yourself."

"I probably wouldn't be as loving or tender if it wasn't for you, Jin," Laenid says. "I can see a future with you...a life that is more than searching for the next adventure. You're the only adventure that matters to me."

Jin's eyes tear up, "Oh Laenid, you're all I need too. I....I want a life, and a family with you, anywhere you want to have it. We can live here, or...if you don't want to stay here we can move somewhere else. I don't care where I live, as long as we're together."

"That's all I want," Laenid says. "Just to be together."

"And books," Auric adds as he and Toska head back to the house.

"Books are nice." Toska agrees.

Jin nods, "Okay, we're together love. You have me. I'm yours for as long as you'll have me. Do....did you want something more....official?"

Jin's cheeks turn a dark pink, "I mean...that is if you want to, we could....you know, get married?" She says, stumbling over her words. Her voice cracks nervously, "You know...if you would like that. I'll be with you, and have a family with you either way....but, if you would like to publicly declare that love...I'd be okay with that, if you are." Jin fiddles nervously with her hair, unsure of exactly how to ask what was going on in her brain.

Jin looks down at her hands for a moment and takes a deep breath before looking up into herf beloved's eyes, "I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm yours, and I will have children with you no matter what...but, it would make me so happy if...if you would agree to be my wife. I don't have much to offer except for my heart....but, if you would accept it, it would be yours forever." Not wanting her love to feel backed into a corner she adds, "No matter what your answer is, I'm yours for as long as you'll have me."

Jin takes another breath and lets it out slowly as she bites down on her lower lip nervously.

Once at home, Auric turns to Toska. "Well, that was an interesting day. I'll see you in the morning."

He smiles at the duskwalker before heading to his room.

Laenid props herself up on her elbows. "I'm not sure how to feel about a proposal when I'm all sweaty and naked. But...I think it's fitting. Yes, I'll be your wife. Forever and ever."

She smiles at Jin. "But we can wait on the ceremony until all this other business is dealt with."

Jin's grin goes from ear to ear, "But I like it when you're all sweaty and naked." She pauses for a moment as she takes in what Laenid said, "Wait...you mean....okay, wow....that's really a yes. Oh Laenid, I promise I'll make you the happiest you've ever been, forever and ever." Reigning in her excitement she takes a breath, "Okay...yeah, once we're done dealing with whatever we have to deal with...we can make it official. You are the most beautiful and delicious woman I have ever known, and you make me so incredibly happy." Jin wraps her arms around Laenid and kisses her softly, yet deeply as happy tears fall from her eyes.

Laenid returns the kiss. "We better get a bath. While I like being sweaty and naked, I don't like staying that way. I might get ideas again."

Jin gets a sad pouty look on her face, "Oh, okay. A nice warm bath might be the perfect way to end this night. Getting ideas is really easy too when I'm with the sexiest woman on the planet." She says with a giggle.

"Night!" Toska happily replies before retiring to his room.

"Oh wow, this blanket is awesome!"

"Flattery will get you everywhere, you little minx," Laenid says, pulling Jin closer for a passionate kiss.

She then releases her love and goes to the door. Laenid opens it and looks around. "The coast is clear."
