Jin nods as she gets up and follows Toni to the door, "I'm sorry she's having a hard time. I know how hard it can be to say goodbye sometimes, but we'll do our very best to bring you home safely."

As they're leaving, Jin turns back to look at Toni, "Should we meet you in front of that magic school place after breakfast then?" Looking up at Laenid she asks as if the thought just occurred to her, "We can still go out to eat breakfast though right?" There's a hopeful lilt to her voice as she looks from Laenid to Toni. She felt like she was asking too many questions at once, but she couldn't help how they came into her head.

Toni nods. "Yes, we can meet at Michael's school after breakfast."

"Of course," Laenid chuckles. "Might be a little easier to get going if you don't have to cook and clean up before taking a long trip."

Jin nods, "Yeah, and I can have hot chocolate too."

As they turn to head off, Jin gives Toni a wave, "Bye Ms. Toni, see you tomorrow."

Toni waves as the group leaves. Smiling to herself, she was content that Malyoxa was finally happy and, if giving up being the Szef did that, it was worth it.

"Seems like we have the rest of the day to ourselves," Malyoxa says.

"So, anything you guys wanna do?" Jin asks, not sure if there was really anything else that they needed for this trip.

"I really don't know," Laenid answers. "We've eaten, we have everything we need for travel..."

"I'm okay with a lazy day at home."

We can just skip to the next day.

Okay.

"I guess I'm okay with just some relaxation time at home before we have to go." Jin says with a smile as she looks up at Laenid.

Gosh Malyoxa, you just take the fun out of everything. This might be our last night in town for a while, we could just....have some fun, or you know....whatever. C'mon....I've been reading that cookbook, and I haven't even got to try it.

That's my job.

I'm soory. Brandi texted me about going into labor in the middle of that post, and I lost all train of thought. I was mostly kidding. I know you want to get things moving again so you can get on with these stories and try to finish some of the adjacent story lines up. I love you, I'm sorry if it feels like I'm giving you a hard time.

"I think a lazy day at home would be the perfect thing before we head out tomorrow," Hitome agrees with a smile, taking Malyoxa's hand.

I'll need to rebuild Toni as a ranger. Hopefully, I'll get this done tomorrow.

Malyoxa smiles as they head back to the house.

After a lazy day and a long night's rest, Laenid wakes up and gently shakes Jin. "Good morning."

Jin scrunches up her nose and stretches, before curling into Laenid's side. Without opening her eyes she gets a small smile on her face, "Mmmmm....good morning. Did you sleep well?"

Hitome awakens, smiling at Malyoxa laying in her arms. Sighing happily, the aasimar gently kisses her lover awake.

Laenid nods. "Mm, yes."

Malyoxa murmurs softly before opening her eyes. "I was having such a peculiar dream."

"Really? What was it love?" Hitome asks, stroking her love's golden hair comfortingly as she looks into her eyes.

"I dreamt of a palace in the sky and I was tending roses there," Malyoxa says. "Very strange, but somewhat comforting."

Jin turns her face slightly to give Laenid a kiss on the cheek, "Are you ready to get up now Neenee, or did you wanna cuddle a little longer?"

"Odd, but definitely not bad." Hitome says with a smile. "Maybe, once the winter has fully come and gone we can look into getting you a garden."

"That depends," Laenid answers. "Do you think Toni is going to want to get an early start?"

Malyoxa chuckles. "I'm not sure I'm the type to have a garden."

Jin softly brushes some hair away from Laenid's face and sighs, "I don't know. She said something about having breakfast with her family since Rajni is having a hard time. I guess she'd want to leave pretty quickly after that so she doesn't drag things out. I wouldn't want things to be more difficult than they need to be just because I wanted a little extra snuggle time."

"I'm sure we have a little time to spare for snuggling," Laenid says, running her fingers through Jin's fur. "Just not a whole lot of snuggling."

Jin giggles as she snuggles up just a little closer to Laenid, and rests her head on her chest.

"Where do you want to go for breakfast?" Laenid asks after a little while.

Letting out a happy little sigh she lifts her face slightly to look at Laenid, "Ummm....I'm not sure what I feel like eating, but should we wait and see what Hitome and Malyoxia feel like eating?"

Laenid kisses Jin's forehead. "It would be the polite thing to do."

Jin looks at Laenid with sad eyes, "I guess that means we need to put clothes on then huh?"

"Mhmm."

Jin sticks out her lower lip, "Okay, if we must."

"Maybe it's just your mind's way of looking forward to beating able to take it easy and enjoy everyday things once we're done with the Summoner stuff and can settle down a bit." Hitome suggests, holding Malyoxa close and kissing her forehead.

"That makes sense," Malyoxa says. "I suppose it's quite telling about how I'm not really forward to dealing with this."

The drow sighs. "I do owe Toni for her kindness. Speaking of which, we should probably get ready and have our breakfast before meeting with her."

Laenid sits up and stretches, rubbing her unclothed body before grabbing a robe and putting it on.

Jin watches Laenid get up and put on a robe before sighing softly and getting out of the bed. Wrapping a warm robe around herself she looks over at Laenid and gives her a little smile, "Should we take a bath before breakfast? Might be the last one we get for a while."
