You're allowed to play a core character in a standard game. Once you do that though, there's no going back.

I don't know if it's possible; my suggestion would be to post in Customer Service. To make it really easy for them, you could even post as that alias.

It is possible to transfer characters from one campaign to another. Such requests go to PFSreportingerrors@paizo.com, which is currently handled by Tonya. I warn you that you are in for a very long wait. We have three characters in a Core campaign right now that were mistakenly created in classic. We have been waiting since October. I have also submitted requests for the flipping of a half-dozen other wrongly classified core characters I have found since last game day.

Customer Service cannot currently change them over. The only person with that power currently is Tonya. If your character is truly core, but initially created in the wrong campaign the mechanical effect on Paizo’s software of you playing in core tables while you wait does not invalidate that status of those tables as core. It just means that your character will not receive prestige in the software reporting system until it is converted.

We are hoping that Paizo will extend that power to the RVCs or regular customer service so that these characters can get flipped more easily, but apparently the tools to do this now prevent that. It is on the tech team’s list of requested improvements though. It’s just a very long list, and with the other problems with Paizo’s site, it is a ways down their queue.

Why is this so slow to change? Part of it may be demand. Core is big here in the Online world, and it also has a large following in France (which started with Core) and in school PFS programs were its simpler and cheaper for students to start with. It is played hardly anywhere else. In many regions, Core is dead or considered a failed program.

So there is not a lot of incentive for Paizo to devote resources to getting these tools built. That said, I keep pushing and poking and sending humorous reminders about the poor Core characters who are trapped in a gaming limbo. I am hoping that we can get this changed!

I have an issue I need resolved. I played in a game and the GM credited one of my characters but the credit does not show up under the characters sessions. I have the chronicle sheet so I'm good but I don't like loose ends and its nice to be able to look up the sessions the character played via the Paizo site. Who should I bug about this? Ironhelixx?

miteke, incidentally, is referring to a game of mine. If it weren't for severe OCD, I'd likely be unequivocal in my certainty that I'd included him. All I know for certain is that I got credit, and nobody else from that game has come to me with any problem.

It is easy enough to go into the old game and edit the credit lines. Unless it was a multiplayer special or GD that has centralised reporting.

It was a Gameday thing.

Best bet is to contact the gameday coordinator if it was one that you could not enter yourself. Let them know the table needs changing.

Hey, did the non-VO's who are GMs for OutPost get their scenarios today? It would be helpful for us to know.

Just checking on this, should we have seen scenarios show up yet?

We won't necessarily know you guys have them until you tell us you are getting them. We have no reason to believe the scenario drop happened, we just noticed a few people getting copies of Solstice Scar B.

Often they only arrive a week (or even less) before. My runecarved key was barely in time for kick off. Luckily I was out of town for the kickoff.

It appears that I have yet to receive my "Beacon Below" PDF. I did sign up as DM in time to receive it.

Turned out that a digit was off, where a 0 was used instead of a 9. Even after staring at the chronicle sheet I missed it.

Don't suppose anybody knows a way to be notified when a certain thread has new posts within? I tried clicking the "subscribe to this gameplay" on the top right but all it did was take me to another site where there was only a code on my screen.

I'm really interested in outpost but my characters are locked up in other games or there are no spaces for new characters. i guess i could pre-gen but is that generally cool with people?

Using a PreGen is cool with people. I've done it =P

But, playing a PreGen to get credit for a character that is currently locked in another game is not cool with people, well... not people, that's not cool with them rules.

If it was an online Con, PM one of the VAs with the correction. Alternatively, go to your GM Sessions and click Report a Problem.

You know, I never did bother to go back to the discussion thread to see. To me it was just a Fat Finger Trick and it doesn't matter much to me whose finger did it. What annoys me more is that after figuring it was probably a miss-entry of the ID, and after looking at the chronicle to see if the ID was right, I STILL missed it. *ack*.

Like Redelia said, she took care of it because her eyesight is obviously better than mine.

1.) What level of concealment is needed to make a Stealth check? Is it full concealment or is partial concealment enough to hide in?

2.) Can a swarm affect a swarm i.e. if my party is being attacked by a swarm of leeches, if I cast summon swarm and summon spiders, would the spider swarm be able to harm the leech swarm? If not, would they just overlap until the duration of the summon swarm spell ended since the leech swarm would be attacking the nearest creature, which would be the spider swarm?

Okay, I just noticed this character has a puzzling problem: It has been denied credit for "From the Tome of Righteous Repose" because:

Player has already played scenario at session # 52 of event # 152539 Play-by-Post Gameday VI on October 07, 2017.

Something's wrong here, isn't it? "From the Tome of Righteous Repose" is an evergreen.

It is but the system cannot recognise evergreens. Just ignore it.

This is a bit confusing - can I play as a 2nd-level character if I've already played it? If so, I'd like in!

Currently, as of the PFSRPGG, 'evergreen' scenarios/modules in the 1-2 bracket may be played *once* by a player with a L2 character, but unlimited times by a L1 character.

This is an important distinction between SFS and PFS, as SFS 'evergeens' (save for L1 Quests, as of last I heard) are 'evergreen' for both L1 and L2 From my understanding

If the character has already played the module, alas, you are out of luck, as you are also out of luck if you've ever played a 2nd level character in the module.

If I have made any Gross Conceptual Errors, clarification is requested.
