FINAL TALLY
Chuffy 31
Mog 30
Poog 19
Reta 8
At the end of the final Mummy adds up the total points each of you earned by counting a pile of severed Longshanks fingers she keeps for such events.
”Chuffy is the new chieftain of the Birdcrunchers! In his smarty wisdom, he can select other goblins who competed in the dares to be subchieftains!”
As promised by Wise Mummy Sprattleharsh, Chuffy gets to wear the Crunchy Crown.
This crown is a nonmagical hat, but nonetheless grants a +2 bonus on all Intimidate checks made against Birdcruncher goblins while it’s worn.
A beaten up olf travel chest is dragged out as the rightful reward and property of the new Chief and Sub-Chiefs.
For the rest of the evening, the Birdcrunchers are in a celebratory mood—they have a new leader, after all! During this time, Chuffy (and his nominated subchieftains) are the focus of goblin pandemonium. Some of the subjects prostrate themselves before the new leaders, moistening their feet with kisses and runny noses, while others scream and sob and bring gifts of food and offers of goblin frolicking. Goblin after goblin comes forward to try to impress the new leaders—by juggling live stoats, by head-butting stumps, and particularly, by setting things on fire... themselves included.
Treasure: The Birdcrunchers, as it turns out, have a particularly large cache of treasure. There are several items in the large and filthy chest that the PCs can make use of. Among the 840 gp in assorted coins, art objects, trophies, jars of pickles, shiny rocks, dented armor fragments, broken dogslicers, and bird parts in various stages of decay are the following items of particular interest: four potions of cure moderate wounds, a potion of fire resistance, a wand of lesser restoration (9 charges), a +1 flaming dogslicer, a Small cloak of elvenkind, a bead of force, a necklace of fireballs (type I), and 5 ounces of sovereign glue.

Poog iz happy that Mog made strong showing. Because it mean that Chuffy will be stronger to watch hiz back!
"Reta no be angry. Reta now able to really fight! Job make head hurt! Iz good thing!" Poog does best to cheer Reta.
"Be glad sub-chieftain!"
Poog will actually be glad to be a sub-chieftain over a normal one. Being Zarongel's evang... avange... talker-upper-er means he wouldn't have time to worry about health of tribe!
As the hoard gets there, he shows Chieftain Chuffy that he should get necklace and wand of 'Less-toes-ization', though most important iz wand. He okay if SubChieftain Moggy gets necklace.
Az goblins come up with fire, Poog will plaz a blessing of Zarongel on thoz 'doing it right' (ie, Guidance for those NOT on fire!) Also because Big Z, will take thoz with fire and teach them wayz of Zarongel!
"Burn, burn, burn!
Burn doggies and learn!
Burn, Burn, Burn!
Zarongel likez? Yu lern!"

Mogmurch Boom*boom |

Might not matter since results were announced, but Tally looks wrong for Swamp Stomp... Mog only killed 4 stirges and Poog killed a bunch with his big fireball.
Mogmurch did not really care about being chief, he was just glad to be out of cramped pie and wished he still had some bombs left for celebrating. Instead he removed the heads of some of the moldering bird corpses and proceeded to juggle them.
Sleight of Hand: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
First time I've ever run an alchemist. I think in regular PFS, they can't make their own alchemical goodies for personal use... just wanted to be sure the same is true in the goblin game?
I am also good with proceeding into the next gobby game... but what level can that chronicle apply to?

Shifty |

Ooops Goblins do bad math at night obviously and have bad tally! Can always protest decision...
Alchemists are one of the only people who CAN craft, and make their alchemicals at a reduced cost
WBG3 isn't out yet, but I am taking a stab it will be an L4 scenario which means Chronicle can be applied to a 3-5
There is much eating of tasty pie!

"Chuffy name Poogz mighty sub-chief, unless sub-chief must marry chief. Reta less ugly than Poog. Chuffy marry Reta if haz two. Not unless though."

![]() |

Chuffy is the Chief, he can have all the Sub-Chiefs he wants. Marriage is optional, and the Chief can have as many wives as he wants - so long as he remembers that the there is an inverse relationship between number of wives and future lifespan.
The next morning rolls around and the Birdcrunchers have a prepared a big "Good luck out there killing Pa Munchmeat and Family" going away celebratory breakfast.
They are singing gleefully while they work:
"WE BE GOBLINS! WE CRUNCH BIRDS!
SNIP OFF LEGS AND CUT IN THIRDS!
CATCH THE TURKEY! SNATCH THE ROOK!
PLUCK THE FEATHERS - MAKE THEM COOK!
ROAST THEM DRUMSTICKS, BOIL THEM EYES!
MASH GUTS GUMMY FOR BIRD PIES!
ONCE IT ALL IS WELL AND CHEWED,
WE STILL HUNGRY - YOU BE FOOD!"
Wise Mummy Sprattleharsh has a few words of advice "The fire breathing pigs breathe fire, and Pa Munchmeat hits hard. He also casts spooky plant spells and has a mean daughter with a pet weasel bigger than a horse, and there might be other monsters living on the farm as well".
She gives Chuffy a crude map of the area that shows the way to Pa Munchmeat’s farm - "Now, Chiefy, gp turn the Munchmeats into paste and don't bother returning to the Birdcrunchers until the task is done".

Chuffy declare lick toad tribe sub chiefs all. Chuffy marry Reta to Poog so Reta leave Chuffy alone.

Knowledge(Nature): 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Mog scratches the top of his skull mask, trying to think of what kinds of pigs are capable of breathing fire. Failing that, he asks the goblin crone.
"Mummy, how piggies breath fire? Mog not see that before." Are we talking draconic pigs here or what? lol)

![]() |

"Not sure how iz breathing fire - never seen before, or even heard of... could be Kobold Dragon Pig?"
The Munchmeat Farm lies about two-thirds of a mile from the Birdcruncher village. As the bird flies, it’s a relatively short distance; on foot through the trackless tors, it’s an hour-long walk to get to the farm. Wise Mummy Sprattleharsh’s map is crude but accurate
About 45 minutes into the walk, a huge boar that is not only foul-tempered and armored, but also belching gouts of fire emerges from a Huckleberry bush... and looking at you with its beady nasty eyes!
Chuffy 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12

Erm, we need to divvy the treasure for use.
Small cloak of elvenkind (for stealthing and sneak attacks)
5 ounces of sovereign glue (maybe work like entangling splash weapon?)
potion of cure moderate wounds
Reta:
+1 flaming dogslicer
potion of fire resistance
potions of cure moderate wounds
Poog:
wand of lesser restoration (9 charges),
necklace of fireballs (type I)
potion of cure moderate wounds
Mogmurch:
a bead of force
potion of cure moderate wounds
Of course Chief welcome to edit that...
"Kobold Dragon Pig? Hmm... Guess we will see." Mog spends an hour preparing his mutagen before they leave in the morning.
***
"Spread out! Piggy can't burn us all if we no stand together." Mog understood very well that when it came to flamez and boomz, the three most important things was location, location, location!
I don't suppose there is more map to be had? If so, Mog wants to move west as far as he can and drink his mutagen.

Ref: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Even though she knew it was coming, Reta can't move quick enough to dodge the fiery belch. "Fire pig eat corn last night, I think." She says, sniifing the air. Swinging the new dogslicer once to feel its balance, she steps up and swings at the pig!
Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Fire: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Apparently, she hasn't gotten the feel for the new weapon.

I am assuming Reta stepped up to attack. Not shown on map though. If I am incorrect, -2 to hit, and 1 damage (minimum damage is 1 IIRC)
