Is the box visible? Or did the imp take it with when it vanished?

Edit: I'm going to assume it's visible, and post based on that.

Pozuket methodically loads a bolt into his crossbow, then gestures with it towards the box on the bed. "If the imp chooses not to contest its prize, then we should acquire it and be gone. And if it chooses to object when we reach for the box, then it must become visible. So be prepared to set on it, my friends!"

Round 5/14 of bardsong today, bonuses and the charge from Moment of Greatness continue.

The box is clearly visible where the Imp threw it, however just moments after Pozukets suggestion, the Imp blinks into the visible spectrum as it lashes him with its tail, "No you wont have it you filthy little gnome!

Tanglefoot Bag vs. Touch AC: 1d20 + 4 - 6 ⇒ (18) + 4 - 6 = 16

DC 15 Reflex Save or be glued to the floor. If successful, imp can only move 1/2 speed.

Tanglefoot Bag:
A tanglefoot bag is a small sack filled with tar, resin, and other sticky substances. When you throw a tanglefoot bag at a creature (as a ranged touch attack with a range increment of 10 feet), the bag comes apart and goo bursts out, entangling the target and then becoming tough and resilient upon exposure to air. An entangled creature takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls and a –4 penalty to Dexterity and must make a DC 15 Reflex save or be glued to the floor, unable to move. Even on a successful save, it can move only at half speed.

A creature that is glued to the floor (or unable to fly) can break free by making a DC 17 Strength check or by dealing 15 points of damage to the goo with a slashing weapon. A creature trying to scrape goo off itself, or another creature assisting, does not need to make an attack roll; hitting the goo is automatic, after which the creature that hit makes a damage roll to see how much of the goo was scraped off. Once free, the creature can move (including flying) at half speed. If the entangled creature attempts to cast a spell, it must make concentration check with a DC of 15 + the spell's level or be unable to cast the spell. The goo becomes brittle and fragile after 2d4 rounds, cracking apart and losing its effectiveness. An application of universal solvent to a stuck creature dissolves the alchemical goo immediately.

The tanglefoot bag will last for 2d4 ⇒ (1, 1) = 2 rounds.

"I've located the fiend!" the gnome calls semi-sarcastically as he moves.

It is the arrival of Grogsons swinging axe that changes the tone as teh hefty blade slams home with great force, and does indeed knock the small Devil and send it reeling - past Jivokuns stab and straight onto Aranans awaiting blade, which once again jars the creature with its force.

"Ack! Hells! I surrender I surrender! Yes, you’ve bested me, but I don’t wish to leave so soon. Take the blasted box, and tell Mistress

Gotcha Poz!

The Paracountess shrugs at the mention of healing, "Perhaps they might feel inclined when you return the chest." She suggests rather unhelpfully. To jivokun she just gives a smile, "And perhaps you can hold on to that dagger, why not come by and return it later when you are sure you are done with it?" - the offer being a clear invitation to something entirely different, her eye also passes over a few other party members like the event doesn't have to be entirely exclusive.

Tired after a long day and upbeat about getting your list of tasks done, you begin the journey back to the Grand Lodge.
A throng of people blocks the street ahead. A performance art group commandeers the street, drawing graffiti to create a jolly hellscape complete with illusory devils comically dancing around in circles. A few citizens avoiding the crowd slip off-street through a nearby alley, the only egress past the gathering.

Taking the detour with the rest of the small crowd, you are on the lookout for anything untoward, and lo and behold, your earlier observations pay off and your blades are in hand just moments after the street is hit with a fog out of nowhere and you hear the shouts of people positioning to attack you...
