Going to dot. Loving PFS so far.

Wanted to get into PFS but haven't got around to it and there isn't anything near where I live. I want to create a Paladin (divine hunter) of Erastil. I suppose that is a legal archetype?

I don't usually write such long backstories but I felt this one needed the extra information to properly explain her current state.

Woo finally finished it to some degree of satisfaction. I needed to create a reason for her dark side to be dark not just, "im mad that my dad is gone!" so here it is. any criticism is welcome.

Ilysisyn's Backstory:

A raven circles above the plains, watching the group of traveller's far below. The group of several dozen humans in a caravan had been together for almost two weeks and Arkah had been feasting on the scraps that such groups always left behind. He was not the only raven following the humans either. As the sun set that night Arkah perched in a tall tree several hundred yards from the camp, beady eyes watching the human fires. They would dig a hole and dump their rubbish, leaving the scavengers a feast in the morning. The call of owls interrupted him as he slept and one eye popped open as his head twisted towards the sound. New lights greeted his eyes in the distance through the trees. They came towards him, the smell he identified instantly as goblin and his ears confirmed it soon after with their high pitched clattering language. They had come from the mountains nearby, an unusually large amount for a raid force. Clearly they intended to overwhelm the humans in bloody violence. The human keeping watch this side of the camp was thankfully alert and gave the cry. "GOBLINS!" Annoyed at being iscovered so quickly the goblins surged forward angrily. Three other soldiers joined the human, weapons drawn and glowing with an intense light. "Kill Paldins!" was screeched throughout the goblin horde and a warhorn sounded. An answering call was heard further away. The four humans and the thirty-odd goblin band were now engaged in battle, some slipping past fearsome paladins towards the camp where others, less skilled guarded. Arkah took flight to get a better view. Perhaps some early meat, his favourite food, would be had tonight. He had seen several battles of the like and had developed quite a taste for raw meat. Another group of goblins had approached from the other side and wer almost at the edge of the camp. Spotting a goblin corpse away from the fighting, the greedy raven descended for a fresh meal. Arkah was unable to slow down and slammed to the ground next to the dead goblin. Seconds later his heart stopped beating and his eyes became lifeless. A stray goblin arrow protruded from his chest.

The Paladin's of Sarenrae rode for Canorate. The goblins had been defeated, the few survivors fleeing. It was worse for the human camp. The four Paladin's, guardians of this particular group, hired to see them safe to their destination had failed. One had fallen, another severely wounded would survive with some healing. No other human had survived besides two children, Maurkus Gordensi and Sendril Dragondin. They were taken to Canorate where one of the Paladin's appointed himself as their guardian to ensure they would not end up in the streets and as a personal atonement for being unable to protect the safety of those he was charged with. Canorate became their new home and here they learned the teachings of Sarenrae. Their guardian hoped with time the scars of their loss would heal and he did all he could to aid this.

The young teenagers dealt with their losses in different ways. Sendril used the tenets and teachings of Sarenrae to strengthen herself and she prayed often for the light to be shone on all. She worked as a healer in the temples, wanting to serve the people that came there for help no matter which god the people followed. She was no adventurer to take the flame out herself. Maurkus because of his growing love for Sendril stayed with her and did everything to be near her. But he was unhappy and had let a dark seed grow inside him. Perhaps he stayed as close as possible to Sendril to keep it from growing, the light in her made him fell better when the nightmares overwhelmed him. Each day together she realised he loved her (she had loved him since she was a girl) and they soon married, young though they might be they didn't let anything stop them. The paladin blessed their union that day. Maurkus and Sendra were happy and in love. Maurkus was able to keep the secret in his heart, the darkness and hate for the creatures that killed his family, away from Sendril even as it grew. He would sneak off at night to the parts of the city that most sensible people avoided. He felt the pull and felt at home among those few hidden men. They could sense the taint of his heart and how divided it was. He soon became one of them and asked for help as they were unable to have a baby and had been trying ever since they got married. At the same time Sendril recieved the same blessing from the church to help them. Both of the blessings would work together mysteriously and they were soon pregnant. Ilyrisyn was born a healthy girl but with a strange mark in the centre of her chest, that of two teardrops circling each other, one extremely pale, one quite dark. Special markings were not unknown and it was believed to be a great blessing. It was divined that this meant she would be a protector of the land. Markaus sometimes suspected the meaning of it was more sinister but he of course held his tongue.

Ilyrisyn was an energetic child like most others and quite normal. She liked hearing the messages from her parents about Sarenrae also and when she heard the tale of the Paladin that saved her parents she decided that was what she would become and protect others as repayment to Sarenrae. Her spirit was strong, loving to run and climb, play with her friends and also studied hard for her lessons.

One night she was awoken by the sound of a raven tapping on the roof. She was about to fall back to sleep when she heard the noise of the front door closing, she got up and looked out into the street to see Markaus sneaking away. Too curious for her own good she followed him out of the common district towards the slums, down one dark alley and underground. She waited several minutes before following him down. She had never been into the sewers before and soon became lost, lamenting her decision to leave her bed she began to cry as she could not find her way out. She was found not far from the meeting where her father was and that was the only thing that saved her from a horrible fate. He pleaded for her life and they released her, with her oath to never mention their presence. She was now forced to keep her father's secret aswell and he tried to explain to her many times the things that the goblins had done and how he wanted to do the same to them. He was of a small group of them that felt the same as him, hunting down groups of goblins to slaughter. Continually keeping this secret was too much for one so young and she started to become sick. While being cared for by her mother the secret finally came out, she could hold it in no longer and instantly felt better. Sendril tried to remain calm but was horrified that her husband had kept this from her all this time. How could he? She did not know what to do and so brought the matter before council. Together they confronted Markaus who at first denied, then laughed before finally giving in. They would give in to no explanation or reasoning and banished him from the church and the city.

Sendra and Ilyrisyn cried together that night. There was nothing they could do, Markaus was already lost to them because of his hate. Sendra told herself she should have realised, the signs were all there but she had refused to acknowledge them until it was staring her in the face in the form of her sweet nine year old daughter. Sendra recovered in time, over the years returning to her cheery self, even marrying again to another devotee of Sarenrae five years later. Unfortunately for little Ilyrisyn, losing her father affected her permanently. That night she played his words over and over trying to understand why he had to leave, he had betrayed Sarenrae in a very serious manner, that of following another god and practising evil teachings. Most of all trying to teach such to a young innocent girl. They hid to pretect themselves and destroy their enemies. Ilyrisyn countered these thoughts with those of the teachings of Sarenrae, that to defeat evil, light must be shone on it. This she knew to be right but the war raged in her mind, her father was an intelligent man and had crafted his words with cunning. She did not sleep or eat for the next two days, causing much worry. She was watched over by another priest who determined there was nothing physically wrong with her and that it was merely grief she was going through and it would pass enough for her to move again soon. On the third day Ilyrisyn finally fell asleep exhausted and slept for another two days. When she awoke she wasn't quite the same. Some days she would seem to be herself but others she would scream or simply not talk. It was brushed off for a while as a simple coping mechanism. They were all to correct. Ilyrisyn's mind had split, unable to handle the conflict inside. Separating into two and erecting a barrier between, effectively giving herself two personalities. One was quite normal, acting just like she used to. The other was unfamiliar and new to the world though possessing alot of the same memories, she held the dark secrets of her father inside and the only remembrance of them, kept away from the other side, who remembered not. It was not discovered for what it truly was until several years later when her dark side grew stronger and as accustomed to the world as the other. Still each was not truly aware, feeling as if she had blacked out. When it was finally pieced together her life changed again.

It made no sense and little real help was able to be provided because of the extreme rarity of her condition. She was somehow able to function though only technically aware of half of her life. All attempts to help her heal failed. It was not a physical injury. They were hesitant to suggest it but she also refused to let anyone mess with her mind. She would make do, both of her. She invented a message system to talk to herself so she could be more aware of what she did. Writing small notes on a days activities as she went and keeping them in a small box in her room or on her person, always in the same pocket in a fold in the front of her shirts. She learnt of her dark thoughts and what might happen if people found out everything and she tried to hide her negative ways. Soon she began further training with the clerics and paladins. Due to her diverse nature she was not permitted to become a paladin much to one of hers disappointment. She was now a cleric of Sarenrae, permitted among the temple guards. Her divine abilities had been limited in some way, only able to accomplish and learn at half the speed of everyone else, though some days she was incapable of even the smallest of things. She wanted to see the world but her often unreliability greatly hindered her chances of being hired to guard travelers. The temple life was not a rich one, especially hers. Two years came and went before she was finally hired. A small group of five farmers needed some protection from bandits who had been terrorising them. Ilyrisyn and another cleric took the low paying job and left with the farmers. It was a small start but she would take anything offered. In fact she was asked for by the farmers personally, saying they knew her as children though she had forgotten them. When they reached the farm they were betrayed, surrounded by a dozen angry farmers with swords who demanded their surrender. One man revealed his face from the shadows. She recognised him instantly. Father.

Ilyrisyn and the other soldier were taken prisoner, the man being killed soon after. It was really only Ilyrisyn they wanted. They had heard of her disorder and Markaus guessed better than most. He intended to turn her to his side by manipulating her dark personality. He now led a small group of followers of Zon-Kuthon of his own, they were the bandits she had been hired to help against. They would be gone before anyone could find them here. They headed towards the mountains and stayed hidden deep inside the range. Several caves that they had commandeered provided a sort of home for them.

"Hello dearest daughter, I'm sorry I have not been there for you lately. I hope you will someday forgive me. Please do not feel like a prisoner here despite the bonds, I just want you to listen to me. Are you listening?" He would talk to her most days, whenever she would decide to be agreeable, which was very seldom at the beginning. But he treated her decently while forcing her to stay. He attempted to sway her to his side with notions of darkness, death and justice by destroying those that wronged them, making them regret their actions. "They must know the full extent of the consequences of their actions. I will end every goblin in the north and south, east and west! But I need you by my side. To show them their defeat in trying to end our family so many years ago. We are still strong." Ilyrisyn fortunately had no such hate stored up inside her. If she had a dark side it cared little for goblins alive or dead. But she did want power and strength. Eventually realizing her father would help her gain it she gave in and completed the minimum rituals necessary to gain his trust. Ilyrisyn splintered ever so slightly further, now a cleric of Zon-Kuthon and being granted several shadowy powers, keeping these things from herself. She was given a new weapon, a long spiked black chain to replace her shield and scimitar style. After a week the follower of Sarenrae hadn't shown herself and Maurkus began to think his plan worked. His beloved daughter was his once more. But her condition would never be broken so easily.

They attacked another camp of goblins hidden in the mountains, Ilyrisyn's new ablities were used to devastating effect in the dark caves, rooting out and destroying every last one. That night they camped in the caves, planning to head deeper into the mountains. One of the goblin captives had told them of many more camps that existed before dying. In the morning she woke up not remembering the last week. In a strange cave she slowly pieced together what happened. She was confronted by Maurkas as she went to leave and he tried to stop her, managing to knock her unconscious but taking a serious wound to his side also. She woke up once more in chains and not knowing how she demanded they release her. When Maurkas told her what happened and she saw the wound she had given him they released here again. She saw that she would never be allowed to gain any more power and would never be fully trusted while she followed her father. Taking the chance of his weakness due to the wound she had given him she decided to leave and was forced to kill two of them who tried to stop her with negative energy. She was no longer interested in the petty hate of her father and she realised he had weakened himself by going over to Zon-Kuthon. She left and journeyed back to Canorate, wondering how she would be received. For several months she avoided the searches for her and stayed away from Canorate, trying to decide what she would do now. She still had access to both gods divine powers even though they contrasted so much. She felt it was a great joke played by the gods on her to allow this, taking advantage of her disability. She wanted to be complete again. She had no idea how this would be possible or if it was at all. She wanders the land, protecting those in need as the cleric of Sarenrae and haunting the shadows bringing death to whatever evil got in the way of her quest forgreater power as a cleric of Zon-Kuthon.

TLDR: Her parents families were killed by goblins. Her dad hates the goblins and secretly follows zon-kuthon because of this. Her mum follows Sarenrae. Dad tries to corrupt Ilyrisyn, everyone finds out, he gets kicked out, Ilyrisyn breaks. Dad captures her and turns her dark side to him for a time. she follows both gods now, but only one at a time. And only in her own self-justified way. She is a wanderer now, unsure where her destiny lies.

swear im almost done the backstory for my cleric. it's getting kinda long :p

@Tie My Shoelace - Reading your background was almost scary. My cleric has a paladin of sarenrae that saved her parents (when they themselves were young). Perhaps this could be the same paladin (different time).

Just been hearing about it on the radio before getting to work.

That sounds fair. In a way. Switch more often, But when you decide. lol it will be interesting.

just can't rely on my spontaneous casting in those cases. prepare a cure spell i guess.

Let's see if i can work up a background then. I'm planning for her parents divorce/breakup to be the thing that started her own breakup into split personalities.

The dice rolling is the exact idea I had for controlling which was active. She couldn't of course choose. I first thought they could only swap when she fell unconscious or slept at which time a dice would be rolled to see who got to be in control for the next period of activity. But whatever fits and is balanced is cool with me. It'd be silly to just be able to switch whenever suits. I like the risk part of it too, makes it more fun also.

"Hey can we get a heal?" "Sorry, negative energy."

Ah ok. So even if its just switching between true neutral and lawful neutral its still not ok? The evil lean was more in the way of 'fight fire with fire' sorry of thing. I can take that out and just use the darkness side of it if that fits better.

One thing I was thinking was she could be wanting to find a way to be 'complete' as a personal quest along the way, and the different sides to her both want that but in different ways.

Should I keep trying to find an interesting way for this kind of character to work or just give up?

What do you mean in the way of more freedom?

Hyphens between everything but there would probly have worked. But eh, I was just being picky :)

I'm just wondering what death-recruitment is? :p

An army of Undead Orc Giants. Run!

I wonder what would happen with deity Favoured weapon since she kinda follows two gods.

Here is a thought. Not sure if this is allowed I just reckon it would be awesome role playing.

She has a split personality.
One is true Neutral, uses favored Scimitar and channels positive and is more towards good in her neutral alignment.
The other is lawful neutral, uses Favoured spiked chain, channels negative and leans slightly evil.

She "talks" or "cooperates" between personalities writing down important things that happened while each personality was in control. So they kind of know what has been going on while not in control. She is a little bit messed up lol but only uses evil against other evil (causing pain to get information, sometimes killing a defenseless evil creature or in cold blood, stealing) but never against those that don't impede her (good people and the party).

I swear I'm not trying to break the game or anything, just had a crazy idea that sounded more and more awesome the more I try to flesh it out.

If this isn't closed I will apply with a human cleric.
She isn't devoted to a particular deity but did grow up with one parent following Sarenrae, the other secretly a follower of Zon-Kuthon. When it was discovered the marriage didn't last long and our hero had already been taught. She is conflicted and never followed a specific deity but finding merits to both she took what she liked and made a type of religion for herself of the two. Working on this idea but she will have the Day and Night domains(if you allow), be true neutral (leaning heavily towards lawful). Should be ready by wednesday... hopefully :p

Thoughts?

Changed my mind and working on a Imperious Sorcerer with the imperious human optional racial traits. Hoping the leadership feat is allowed in this AP. Timothy is of a minor house and will aspire to become a king or at least major advisor or some such leadership role.

I would love to apply with...

Vladst the Barbarian. He will be a barbarian/fighter eventually. Hopefully his training is a good reason story wise to start barbarian and be neutral evil and then take fighter levels also. He is not a follower of asmoseus but will become one quickly if it allows him to take revenge.

Personality/Appearance:

Vladst' grey-green skin is readily apparent. Sharper teeth than human and pointed ears make his heritage easily perceived. He does not slump in his reduced state but stands tall. No matter what happens to him his is determined to accept himself even if no others will. Rejected by humans and orcs alike he will make them accept him. Strength is the only thing that impresses him but he is wise enough, thanks to his mother that he knows strength is not the only thing that will get things done. Unfortunately his undeveloped mind fails him in this area. He struggles to keep his temper and is prone to smash things that get in his way, but his military training has indeed left it's mark and he is disciplined enough to show restraint(even if others must help him remember). He wishes to show everyone that they were mistaken about him and make them all pay for that mistake.

Backstory:

Vladst, so named for the man his father had slain, his mother's husband, never let the other kids make fun of him for his inhuman looks. They didn't make that mistake often. He was the strongest of the children in his area and took advantage of this. His mother was teaching him to control himself, but he was young and the orc in him often got him in trouble. She had not gone back to the farm which was destroyed with the orc raid that had brought forth Vladst, instead finding a place in town. People thought she was crazy for keeping him. She worked her trade as a seamstress, employed by a childhood friend who was now a tailor. Vladst attended school but only passed by the barest margin, uncaring of his studies, he preferred to practice at sword fighting with the other boys of his gang. Due to his mother's help controlling his orc nature and his failure in school to become anything special, he joined the military. The war against the asmodeans was going well and he, though late to the true fight, hoped to still catch some action. Training went quickly. He was a natural with weapons. He attributed this to his warlike ancestry.

His first battle however, would be his last. In the thick of the fighting against the enemy, he had killed at least a dozen men by himself. His force was ordered to pull back and surround the flank. As they marched they were ambushed by an orc horde. Surprised and now outnumbered they were forced to retreat. Vladst was confronted by the orc chief who, seeing his joy in battle instantly recognised the features of this half-orc as one of his own. Strange that one of those unfortunate human women would raise him as their own. Vladst had brought down a much larger opponent to help another escape. So unlike an orc. The chief would teach him a lesson. Cutting his way towards Vladst with his massive axe he called out to his son. When Vladst realised who this was he didn't know what to do and was too intimidated to move. He saw the fierceness of his father's fighting to get to him. Men were cleaved in two, it was the greatest display of skill he had ever seen. The chieftain challenged and shortly defeated him but left him alive. Mocking his half breed status, telling him he would never meet his true potential with the humans.

Vladst retreated, bloody and beaten, but the image of his father continued to haunt him the following weeks. He wad awarded for bravery in helping the unit retreat in overwhelming odds. The promotion didn't make him as happy as he thought. He was finally accepted by most of the men now. But the thought of his father humiliating him like he did ate away at him. He did not fit in anywhere it seemed. He got in a fight with a high ranking superior over wanting to be transfered and everything that had been building up inside him spilled out, leading him to try to kill the man in his anger. It was all the others needed to confirm what they had always known about the half-orc, he could never be one of them. He was instantly arrested before he could do any harm and was immediately sent to branderscar prison to await his sentence. He deserved the axe. What had his mother constantly told him? Live by the sword, die by the sword.

Dotting :) very interested in kingmaker.

Will submit a paladin most likely.

Dotting. If I am in one of your games already does that stop me from applying here? WotW is just so fun I could play it many times and am likely to DM it before long aswell but not for a while :p

I have a cool idea for a crazy half orc fighter that likes to break things.

Not so outwardly self-righteous though. I thinks about things alot and worry about the consequences of my actions.
*detect evil*
Unfortunately i don't think i would detect the kind of evil that needs destroying. You are redeemable, as soon as I can convince you to ease off on the pain and blood thing :p
Probably a good thing I can't *detect thoughts* XD

heheh I read your submission too. Looking forward to this and 'hopefully' the awesome roleplaying we could create.

Ok I have an Angel-Blooded Aasimar Paladin ready for you here. Quite keen to play one as I haven't had the chance yet and i'm very interested in LoF also. I can post at least once a day even more if the game goes faster. I'll make an alias if I get chosen, have a few too many now to make one every time lol. A lot can be expanded in his story, expecially his brother who (i reckon this would be awesome) was another PC or an NPC somewhere in the campaign. Either way this follower of Sarenrae would love to start his adventure.

Power Attack You can choose to take a –1 penalty on all melee attack rolls and combat maneuver checks to gain a +2 bonus on all melee damage rolls. This bonus to damage is increased by half (+50%) if you are making an attack with a two-handed weapon, a one handed weapon using two hands, or a primary natural weapon that adds 1-1/2 times your Strength modifier on damage rolls. This bonus to damage is halved (–50%) if you are making an attack with an off-hand weapon or secondary natural weapon.

Missionary(Intimidate) You’ve been selected for your dedication to the church and your strong social graces—pick one of the following skills: Bluff, Diplomacy, Intimidate, Knowledge (religion), Perform (any), or Sense Motive. You gain a +1 trait bonus on checks using the selected skill, and it is always considered a class skill for you.

Strength of the Sun During the day, you gain a +1 trait bonus on all Charisma-based checks.

Favoured Class(Paladin) 0/0/1 1 skill point OR 1 hit point OR 1/6 to the morale bonus on saving throws provided by the paladin's auras.

Weapon and Armour Proficiency Paladins are proficient with all simple and martial weapons, with all types of armor (heavy, medium, and light), and with shields (except tower shields).

Aura of Good (Ex) The power of a Paladin's Aura of good is equal to her paladin level.

Detect Evil (Sp) At will, a paladin can use detect evil, as the spell. A paladin can, as a move action, concentrate on a single item or individual within 60 feet and determine if it is evil, learning the strength of its aura as if having studied it for 3 rounds. While focusing on one individual or object, the paladin does not detect evil in any other object or individual within range.

Smite Evil (Su) 1/day as a swift action, the paladin chooses one target within sight to smite. If this target is evil, the paladin adds her Cha bonus(+4) to her attack rolls and adds her paladin level to all damage rolls made against the target of her smite. If the target of smite evil is an outsider with the evil subtype, an evil-aligned dragon, or an undead creature, the bonus to damage on the first successful attack increases to 2 points of damage per level the paladin possesses. Regardless of the target, smite evil attacks automatically bypass any DR the creature might possess. In addition, while smite evil is in effect, the paladin gains a deflection bonus equal to her Charisma modifier (if any) to her AC against attacks made by the target of the smite. If the paladin targets a creature that is not evil, the smite is wasted with no effect. The smite evil effect remains until the target of the smite is dead or the next time the paladin rests and regains her uses of this ability. At 4th, 7th, 10th, 13th, 16th and 19th, the paladin may smite evil one additional time per day upto 7 times at 19th level.

Exalted Resistance An aasimar gains spell resistance (SR) equal to 5 + her level against spells and spell-like abilities with the evil descriptor, as well as any spells and spell-like abilities cast by evil outsiders.

Skilled Angel Blooded Aasimar have a +2 racial bonus to Heal and Knowledge(Planes) checks.

Spell-Like Ability (Sp) Aasimars can use Alter Self once per day as a spell-like ability (caster level equal to the aasimar's class level).

Darkvision Aasimar have darkvision 60 ft. (they can see perfectly in the dark up to 60 feet.)

Celestial Tracker You gain a +1 trait bonus on Survival checks made to follow tracks. In addition, you treat trails as being up to 24 hours fresher than they actually are when using the Survival skill to follow tracks.

Planetar's Visions Whenever you succeed at a critical hit with a melee weapon against an evil outsider, you ignore an amount of the outsider's damage reduction (if any) equal to the critical multiplier of your weapon (this cannot reduce a creature's damage reduction to below 0).

Backstory:

When Angel was born and his celestial features discovered, that being golden eyes and silver hair, a great family celebration was had. Being devout followers of Seranrae they felt they had been divinely blessed to have angelic blood in their line. They held angels and all those that worked against evil in high regard, so high infact that they called their first-born son in honour of them and their blood. They expected greatness to come of this blessing. His family was an otherwise average one, getting by each year, donating anything extra they had to the church. Three years after Angel they had another boy, Saren, after which they were unable to have any more. Saren was another blessing, unheard of to have one, let alone two that showed the connection to the celestial. Saren's features were not as prominent as Angel's though and he could be mistaken easily as a human. The two brothers were as close as could be as they grew up. Playing together, going to services, destroying evil in their play, always side by side, always heroes. Angel was pure of heart and caring, Saren slightly more rough, both of them tall, strong and good looking, having several girls wish for their attention. They both aspired to paladinhood and grew up in their youth serving the church and training to be warriors for their god. When it came time, Saren unexpectedly chose a different path. He didn't think paladin's did their job well enough and became a self-appointed inquisitor instead while Angel went on to be blessed into the ranks of the other paladins. This split the brothers for the first time and they didn't see each other very often after this. Angel began spreading the faith to places in need, doing his best to combat evil in every dark place. He led by example, showing that his doctrine was right and good. He despised tyranny and all evil, but gave mercy and showed compassion whenever he could. But he gave none to himself, thinking he must be perfect if others were to follow him.

Hearing the news of the taking of Kelmarane, Angel was the first to offer his services to restoring the land and town and removing the forces of evil. He personally vowed that he would find and kill the one responsible for the attack. He regrets that Saren is not with him, for together none can stand against them.

Appearance/Personality:

Angel stands 6ft. 2in. tall. His golden eyes shine during the day and glow during the night. His hair is pure silver in colour and is half-way to his shoulders though slightly longer at the back. He wears his armour and several weapons for any enemy he might be faced with. Sandy coloured cloak flaps behind him. Unafraid of any danger but never reckless, he is always ready for anything. With others he tries to lead by example, never demanding obediance but trying to show the best way. He knows those forced to obey are never the most effective. He tries to encourage when appropriate and looks first to help the hurt and wounded with his skills.

Dotting.

4d6 ⇒ (3, 5, 3, 1) = 12 = 11 (drop)
4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 3, 6) = 18 = 15
4d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 4, 6) = 14 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 6, 4) = 19 = 16
4d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 6, 6) = 17 = 15
4d6 ⇒ (5, 2, 5, 6) = 18 = 16
4d6 ⇒ (3, 6, 6, 2) = 17 = 15

So 16, 16, 15, 15, 15, 12. Me like. Paladin spot taken?
I'll try and work something up.

@ReckNBall, yours is pretty awesome aswell.

@ GM just making sure, are we allowed to move around stat rolls or must they be rolled in order?

some stat rolls:

Strength = 18
1d10 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
1d10 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Int = 8
1d10 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
1d10 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Dang wish cha was higher

I am thinking about a half orc fighter who specializes in sundering and smashing things. Should be done by the weekend.

Dot :)

Oh man oh man oh man. I'm itching to get into a way of the wicked game. When I decide to start gm'ing (later this year probably as I get help from my group of local fiends... er, friends) this is probably going to be the campaign I run. Anyways, I was an aplicant of GM bloods campaign and really hope I can get lucky this time around. Currently waiting on another WotW application to be accepted or not before I apply here. So this is a rather long dot... lol

Strength: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Focus = Dexterity 18
Foible = Constitution 8
Intelligence: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Wisdom: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Charisma: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

Also you didn't say anything about feats, just wondering, are you going with GM Bloods, extra non combat feat at first level?

Let's see what the dice say...
1: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 4, 5) = 17 = 15
2: 4d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 3, 5) = 12 = 11
3: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 3, 1) = 11 = 10
4: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 4, 5, 2) = 12 = 11
5: 4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 4, 6) = 17 = 15
6: 4d6 ⇒ (6, 1, 4, 4) = 15 = 14

21pts ok. Working on a paladin (divine hunter). Would you allow an angel blooded aasimar?

Strength 15+2 racial
Dexterity 15
Constitution 11
Intelligence 10
Wisdom 11
Charisma 14+2 racial

If not I'll go human.

"Someone's coming, " she whispers and peeks out a window to see who might be there.
Perception take 10 otherwise: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

ouch!

I would want to go Thief of Souls since it seems to have assassin like abilities.

Ok so stats.

Strength: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Dexterity (focus) 18
Constitution: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Intelligence (foible) 8
Wisdom: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Charisma: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

Hmm that's pretty good.

Ah how did I miss that bit. Thanks.

I would like to be a rogue.
Would one be able to become a vampire?
My idea is to play a vampire assassin type

Max interest :)

Working on a Drow Rogue.

Hoping I can have him up in time.

hmm ok cool thanks for that info. Im also wondering if natural weapon ranger might be a good idea also. Maybe a ranger/rogue

I have a question about Cats Claws. Does that give me two natural attacks at full bab or do natural attacks still take penalties like normal two weapon wielding?

Also it says that natural attacks never get more attacks from bab. Would this mean Claws are not viable?

Would the claw blades then remedy that by technically changing the natural attack to light slashing weapons?

Sorry if I'm not understanding something here

Interested in playing a catfolk rogue(cat burglar) archetype. Always wanted to try. Never get the chance :)

Any race restrictions?

Im wanting to play an archer paladin(divine Hunter)

Interested. Let me get my hands on the players guide

the above post was from me. Wrong alias sorry.
So I have almost finished my druid. Wondering if black panther would be appropriate or if cougar is the best choice for big cat?

Cougars would be under large cats?
And rolling wealth
starting wealth: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 2) = 7 x 11 = 77.
Average anyway lol.

Actually just reread elves aren't allowed to be druids.

So a human then. Same idea though. Probably an indigenous human.
Going female this time. Caster with a tough companion.

Are there tigers here?

4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 6, 4) = 19 = 15
4d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 2, 6) = 13 = 12
4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 6, 1) = 18 = 17
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 3, 5) = 14 = 11

5d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 3, 5, 2) = 17 = 14
5d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 1, 3, 5) = 12 dropped
5d6 ⇒ (3, 1, 4, 5, 6) = 19 = 15

Still working on a character idea. Thinking a true neutral elf druid. Could likely be friends with the ranger already. But isn't incredibly 'in' with the elf settlers.

Stats 17, 15, 15, 14, 12, 11

Damit Ashe that was what I was thinking of doing but with Inquisitor

So even if the Vampire template says must have 5HD. Do we ignore that and create a level 1 full on vampire?

Hehe let me see if I can cook up something monstrous. This looks awesome
