Letting out a very human sounding sigh. Gnasher rolled his eyes. Snarling "Tribe not have time for this." Holding his bardiche in one hand and the rope in the other. Gnasher moves down the steps calling. "Ghost tell humans 'Gnoll Killer' comes." Getting down the steps near Malgrim, Gnasher glares at the humans. "I 'Gnasher' Red Claw, last of tribe, killed by Carrion King. Have no time to take slaves, have no time suckling dumb humans. Tribe came to kill all gnolls here. Humans can leave or humans can stay, Gnasher no care. Humans stay out of Gnashers way." He glares at the humans, froth dripping from his jowls. "Where gnolls? What happen here? Gnasher Kill Carrion Kings Gnolls, Humans stay out of way!"
Happy to fuss at them as long as it takes to intimidate them, What happened here?

Urah Pyr |

"The Troglodytes have promised us a safe place. Go there and wait for us. Once we have cleared these gnolls out, we can see about getting you all a better place."

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Looking from Urah to the slaves, Gnasher observes, "Maybe, maybe not. Humans stay here if wish. Tribe will kill all Gnolls, but not lizards. When tribe leave, humans can follow to Kelmarane, or not, up to humans."
Wondering if there might be access to the larger building via tunnels, Gnasher, Points past the first slave on the steps, asking, "What further below? Tunnels to big building?"
He draws out the knife he had offered the mute girl, hoping these humans were braver. Tossing the knife at the feet of the slave that had attacked Malgrim he points to the building in the southeast corner. "Tribe killed giant snake, meat good eating. If Humans hungry go get meat to eat."
Looking past at the other two humans, he took two more knives out of his belt, and tossed them their way as well.

Tarak Stromblessed |

"Aye, if ye won't run or go to the lizards, barricade here and we be back for ye after we kill all the Gnolls. We can get ye to someplace safe afterwards.' Tarak adds.
Turning to the group, "We need to keep moving."

Malgrim Gryh |

Malgrim listens to the conversation and shrugs, "We have said enough. They have survived this long. They can hide for a bit longer, but we should not give the gnolls more time to prepare." He turns to continue leading towards where they think the gnolls are.

miteke |

The man picks up the dagger, keeping an eye on the PCs all the while.
"We'll just stay in here for a while, though a little meat would be greatly appreciated. Maybe, if you are who you say you are, we can get out of here."
He does seem to be slowly warming to the idea that you might, just might be willing to help them and not enslave them.
"The Warrens are down there. We escaped a couple of days ago and came up here. There were others too, but they were too scared to join us. Either they have been recaptured by now or they are holed up somewhere down there with Lazrul. He killed a couple of the gnolls when the trogs attacked, buying us our escape."
"We were down there a lot. The gnolls had us digging the place out. If the gnolls didn't kill us, the rocks sometimes would. You might have noticed this place is falling apart. Going back would be suicide, going forward is almost as risky. We sure hope you guys are what you say you are."

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Giving a very human sigh, Gnasher takes off his pack and sorts out a day's worth of rations that he brought from Kelmarane, Setting the food down, he turned to follow Malgrim out of the entrance to the slave pit. Reshouldering his pack he points towards the North-east B he adds "Tribe finish checking perimeter and secure exit." He begins to cautiously move towards the last 'out building' keeping a keen eye out as he goes.
Taking 10 (18) on perception, Malgrim, I hope this is not too much of a misinterpretation of your actions. Gnasher's rage is down 1/3, I'd rather finish the outside, and go into 'G' fully rested. If there is nothing worth killing in 'B' we could come back and finish whatever gnolls are in the 'Warrens'
