I’m trying to think of creative options they’re all on a balcony? How sturdy-looking is that balcony? >:3c
Yes, the balcony is supposed to be 10-15' from the wall and then collapses. The balcony is stronger than the rest of the rafter area and does not require any rolls to traverse and the gremlins are perched right at the edge. So you can get in a shot but, even though they are pretty overconfident, I would have to say that they will back off when you come after them.
Katsumi whiffs again, not able to get a good shot but Lupe tags one (brown) pretty well, and then Rahella follows up and it looks pretty staggered. Things are accelerating now and there are only two functional gremlins.
Casper grins and bears the lack of respect and opts to be productive, though for what motive is anyone's guess.
Combat Card
Bold may go.
Lady Vulpina (-4 NL)
Sarona (-1 con, -1 NL)
3 Pugwampi gremlins (-6 brown)
Katsumi (-1 NL)
Rahella (-4 NL, guidance +1)
Lupe (-2 NL, -2 con)
Casper (-1 NL)
Wolf (-1 NL)
Was that the entirety of Lady Vulpina's actions this round?

Lady Vulpina of Katapesh |

Depends on whether or not dropping a paper cartridge counts as any sort of action. I think realistically it'd at least be a Move, then a Free to drop, but I'm not going to turn down charity. :P
Regardless, she'll move to perch right behind them, putting the pugwampis between herself and the open air.
Hoping that they'll have to rush past me if they want to get away from the ledge, in which case Combat Reflexes will come in handy!

Dropping a cartridge that is not already in hand would be a move action to get it and a free action to drop it. I don't think you can get between the gremlins and 'open air', by which I assume you mean a retreat into the rafters where there is no balcony to support your weight. They are literally at the edge of the balcony. If they step away then no AoO and they would then be out of reach. If they move away you would get an AoO. But no way to block their retreat without 'going out on limb'.

Lady vulpina snuggles up to one of the gremlins who makes a face at her and backs off onto a pretty fragile looking cross beam, beckoning to her as if to say 'I dare you' (5' step back) and then shoots her from 10' away. Brown also retreats into the lair leaving just two of the gremlins.
to hit Lupe: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
to hit Lady Vulpina: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
The dart shot at Lupe hits, I believe, unless you can use a shield with a sling but the one from the defiant gremlin flies off to the side.

STR check? Or is it fragile enough that this is gonna go down anyway?

It's a straight up percentage check, and not a favorable one! My advice would be to rig something up before attempting the dangerous crossing. If you had a grappling hook or something and the time to test whether it was secure, THAT might work.

miteke |

The beam collaspes out from under the gremlin and it tries to leap to another one near by but is so taken by surprise it does not make it far enough. it's little mouth makes a tiny O and a pathetic shrill whistling scream emits from it as it plummets to the ground below.
reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
falling damage: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6
It lies there a little dazed. It's remaining fellow doubles up in laughter and jabs its finger at the fallen 'ally'.

Rahella |

Once again Rahella cast a glob of acid up at the nearest of the pugwampi hoping to hit it.
acid splash @ black w/ guidance: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 151d3 ⇒ 3
hit???: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Lupe Fiasco |

Lupe will ride over and try to deal with the one on the ground.
Morning Star CI: 1d20 + 0 + 3 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 0 + 3 + 1 + 1 = 6
Morning Star CI: 1d20 + 0 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 0 + 3 + 1 = 14
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Wolf will attack or ready for any that come near.
Bite (BSP): 1d20 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 + 1 = 21
Bite (BSP): 1d20 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 + 1 = 20
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
I can not catch a break with these nat ones.
"We almost got 'em."

miteke |

Rahella logs an acid blob at the jeering one and hits him squarely in the previously jabbing index finger, causing it to loudly scream in pain and pop it into its mouth, though the scream is short lived as Katsumi's arrow finds its mark. Amazing how small creatures can make such loud noises! Between Rehella, who FINALLY lands a hit, and Katsumi, it is hurled off of it's perch and lands with a thunk on the ground where it lies still and unconscious.
falling damage: 2d6 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5
Though Lupe is unable to score a hit, having gotten his morning star tangled up in the harness of his mount, his mount fares better and sinks his teeth into the one on the ground. It is still conscious, but out of commission. One more shot should send it to oblivion. So, naturally, seeing no escape route, it grovels.
*blah, blah, blah... blah. Whine, whine, whine.*
You have no idea what it is saying, but you can imagine.
You are out of combat for all intents and purposes. Purple is at 0 HP. It might flee if it thinks it has a chance.

Lady Vulpina of Katapesh |

Vulpina slides down gracefully from the rafters:
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
Well, gracefully enough, anyway.
”All set?” she asks Casper, retrieving her pistol from him. She checks the condition (”well enough, for one unfamiliar”) and crosses to the remaining pugwamp.
”You shan’t trouble us again,” she says.
Second Roll Because Pugwampis: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

Lupe is distracted trying to untangle his morning star.

** spoiler omitted **
Casper nods and grins evily,
"By all means."

Lupe Fiasco |

"Brother noooo."

Casper "Pythonglare" Cantour |

So, does Lady Vulpina defy Katsumi and blow the poor innocent gremlin away?
She may not, but Casper's certainly not missing out on this opportunity -- I'm confused on combat order now, can I act to attack the prone Gremlin?

miteke |

@Casper
give me a stealth roll and beat Katsumi's and Lupe's perception rolls and you can sneak up behind him and CGD the little 'innocent' pest.
perception Katsumi: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Lupe, give me a perception roll to see what Casper is up to before he does the deed, that is if you want to stop him or warn Katsumi, because it looks like he is tottaly oblivious.

Lupe Fiasco |

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (18) + 8 = 26
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Lupe sees what he sees but does not know what is going on a who is doing bad things. His god is one of Chivalry, Duty, and Vengeance he has a duty to clear this out revenge fits but it is not chivalrous so I don't think that he feels a particular pull.

miteke |

Before Lupe's ever so one tracked mind can figure out what is up, Casper steps up and sticks his dagger into the eye of the gremlin.
Katsumi is horrified and throws his own daggers at Casper, though only with his eyes. He says nothing, but marches away off to camp.
The NPC, Katsumi, will now only participate in battles that involve the camp.
Which is bad timing because a few moment later a very large gremlin emerges from the lair and bellows something at the PCs and heads towards Lady Vulpina, two fresh gremlins at his side and the two you sent fleeing watching from a safe place inside the lair. The large gremlin has a bow, but he is wielding a warhammer and is waving it in lady Vulpina's face.
Your init. This is the last battle. After this you level up and take residence in the Monastery.

Sarona |

Sarona looks at the two oncoming gremlins, then bolts to Lady Vulpina's side.
"Here." She quickly pokes her with some helpful magic.
Casting guidance on Lady Vulpina.

Casper "Pythonglare" Cantour |

Oh thou of the Black Fingers, Drinker of Life's Final Breath....
Casper's thoughts continue in this fashion for some length of time, enumerating the endless epithets of his patron divinity Norgorber. He quickly runs through at least a hundred of these and similar titles before proceeding to stab the prone humanoid through its eye socket. Casper then concludes,
'Accept thou the sacrifice of this pitiful soul.'

Lady Vulpina of Katapesh |

"An unfortunate choice," says the Lady, twirling her blade.
Wakizashi Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Wakizashi Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
She draws her pistol as she slices, preparing for a more devastating retaliation.
Parry+Guidance: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Riposte: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Well, that's not stopping anything!

miteke |

The Lady's attack misses by a large margin. This gremlin looks well armored and nimble, a nasty combination.
I reorganized the icons base on where I think they might have moved to when dealing with the fallen gremlin. I forgot that Lady Vulpina had come down so I put everyone on the ground floor, including the big gremlin. the two escorts are still in the rafters with their bows out.

Lupe Fiasco |

Lupe moves wolf to a position where they both have cover and starts to sing.
Inspire courage, +1 Attack and Damage, +1 morale bonus on saving throws against charm and fear effects.

Rahella |

Rahella was not displeased to see the last pugwampi executed by Casper. It seemed by far the most effective solution. Unfortunately three more came out, including a bigger one with a big hammer. Cursing Rahella sent a glob of acid at the nearest one [ooc]purple[/oo] then moved away from it.
acid splash w/IC: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 2 + 1 = 221d3 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
does it hit?: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 2 + 1 = 14

miteke |

Missed that. Sarona acted, so moving on...
to hit Lupe: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
to hit Rahella: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
to hit Lady Vulpina: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
With a clang, the warhammer rebounds from Lupe's armor without so much as denting it and gremlin frowns. The two in the rafters are more interested in the Big Fight to take much of an aim.

Rahella knew they needed help taking down the boss pugwampi and so she moved closer to get herself into range. She chanted, gestured, and sent a ray of black energy at the little bastard.
