Maybe there are ledges in the sewers to walk on?
Watching the warriors depart, Gansher decides if they need to go into the sewers later they can. Gesturing towards the 'shuffling' rooms, Gnasher sighs, "I hope we exit quickly." Moving that direction, he considers what they know about the rooms.

Malgrim Gryh |

"Do you still have the capability to let us walk on air. We might try and walk a distance down the sewers, maybe a little less than half or so of the duration, and then turn back if we do not see an end of the tunnel." Malgrim suggests.

Malgrim Gryh |

"I am pretty resistant to such heat. I can poke my head in and take a look." Malgrim offers.
Currently, I have Resist Fire 14.

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Looking from Malgrim to Seif-al-Din, Gnasher shrugs. If his fellow tribe-member desires to double check the nature of the 'sewers' Gnasher would not stop him. However, Gnasher wasn't sure how the rest of them could follow. Perchance there was a way, it certainly wouldn't hurt for the skilled scout to investigate.

Malgrim Gryh |

Malgrim will go look into the sewers.

miteke |

You follow their crew who follow the same pattern as you but when they go though door 4 of the Lizard room they, and you, end up in a new area (see A2 on map for the lower level).
A low brass landing with a short plinth standing at its northern edge extends along one wall of this large chamber that is otherwise filled with a bubbling pool of bright red molten lava. A wide tunnel extends to the north, from which the lava issues in a languid flow. A single lancet archway extends from the landing to the east but is backed by a curtain of crackling f lame. Most menacing of all the chamber’s features, however, is the wide swirling vortex of lava that occupies its western wing, pulling the liquid rock in an inexorable whirlpool of infernal heat and death.
Apparently not to the crew of Azer Mamluks who dive right in and are sucked away. Considering that they are outsiders from the plane of fire, I guess that is not too surprising.

Malgrim Gryh |

"Yeah, That seems like a path of last resort." Malgrim says.

miteke |

@Seif
No, not sure at all.
You guys going to do anything now? Camp her by the lake of fire? Fiddle around in the maze and look for stuff you missed? Figure out a way to follow the river thing north? Go listen to Shazathared tell some tales?

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Standing near the low brass landing, Gnasher looks towards the 'sewer's' flow, Thinking aloud, "Maybe someone fly and see where sewer leads?"
Taking 10(25) on perception, the wide tunnel extends to the north, is there space to fly without taking too much damage from the heat?

miteke |

Flying would work, though once you get into the tunnel area you will be close enough to the fire to take some damage each round. Not a lot, unless the temperature is higher over there or there is some surprise, but some. Depending on how long you spend there, it should be doable. With some sort of fire resistance - a piece of cake. Maybe.

Malgrim Gryh |

"I can search it if Seif wishes to cast Air Walk on me. We can try the magical rooms again, but I doubt this place has a pleasant exit." Malgrim says.

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Realizing Malgrim was going to fly over the 'river of lava' Gnasher considers using his newly acquired 'flying carpet' to accompany his friend. Not entirely sure how he would fight on the thing, or how much damage the heat from the lava might do to the magical item, he decides to wait with Seif-al-Din, Shadow and Urah. Nodding towards Malgrim he adds, having a gift for the obvious he adds "Be careful, do not engage enemy, if dangerous, return to tribe so tribe fight like tribe."
just some fluff :)

Malgrim Gryh |

Malgrim will take a stroll down the sewers.
I currently have a Fire Resistance of 14.

miteke |

Malgrim makes the trek and is easily able to resist the heat. The canal goes on a ways, about half a kilometer, before he sees a large room ahead. Most of this huge chamber is filled with a lake of molten rock, save for a landing with an ascending stair in the southeast corner. The ceiling soars high overhead, to a height of a hundred feet—from this height plummets a massive cascade of magma. The roar caused by this flume of molten rock is deafening and vibrates the very walls of the chamber, throwing off thousands of globs of lava that careen about the area like burning hailstones. Malgrim stops well short of the curtain, but there is no way to the platform on the other side without going through the wall of magma.
A large barge woven from thousands of cords of coiled brass filaments floats serenely next to the landing. The brass barge has a high prow at each end and an open-sided shelter in the center. Rowing benches line its deck, but there are no oars and no tiller. Atop each prow is a small concavity.

Malgrim Gryh |

Malgrim returns to the group and says, "The path leads to a large room with a barge like those we used in the pocket dimension. I think we need to get everyone to the boat and see if it can get us out safely." Malgrim says.

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Hearing there was a barge available to sail out on, Gnasher unties his new magic bag from his back and begins to take out the flying carpet. Volunteering, "Gnasher use carpet or cast flying, or both." He looks towards Seif-Al-Din and then Urah, "How should tribe proceed?"

miteke |

You hear Shadow mewl as a familiar image appears on the polished brass of the brass plinth, perhaps in answer to Gnasher's questions, and speaks the phrase “The secret of the brass ship is in the divine fire that guides its way. Light the prow or the waiting post with the flame that cannot be quenched,” before vanishing as mysteriously as it appears.

Malgrim Gryh |

Malgrim frowns at the plinth and says, "I am out of flames that cannot be quenched. Maybe it means a fire elemental of some sort?"

Malgrim Gryh |

"Oh wait, don't we have that torch that wouldn't go out?" Malgrim says as he considers what items they found while searching the place.

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Rolling out his carpet, he gestures towards it "Who ride carpet?"
it's 5x10 and can carry 800 lbs. miteke any opinion on how much gnasher would weight with gear? I'm assuming around 300 lbs.

Gnolls are hulking brutes. I put a males average weight above 200, maybe 250. And you are a rather large specimen so I'm going to say that your weight alone is 250 lbs. Adding in your equipment I'm guessing it is pretty close to 300. Malgrim is already floating along so he is not an issue. Shadow, on the other hand, is a BIG issue. You will have to have someone cast a spell on her like air walk of fly (which she could handle) if you plan on using the carpet/flying approach.
Keep in mind you will need to get through that curtain of magma at the end. We are talking a bucket load of damage from it.

Malgrim Gryh |

For the curtain, did this look like something you could dodge or time it to try and avoid most of the lava. Or is it a solid flow that you have to walk through? I am mainly looking to see if there is some kind of save involved or not.

A pretty solid flow AND if you are in the splash zone you are likely to take more damage. So, barring magic use, you are going to feel pain and a lot of it as literal tons of magma pummel you from above. Frankly I probably should not have let you see what was on the other side it is so thick.

Malgrim Gryh |

Malgrim climbs on board and looks to see if there is a way to hide from the pouring lava. As he does so he glances at Seif and says, "Do you have any protections against what we are about to do? Somehow I don't think this boat is going to help."

'Gnasher' Red Claw |

Nodding his approval as the boat comes around the bend, Gnasher loads his carpet back in the bag. Tying the bag to his pack, he hefts his bardiche and follows Malgrim aboard the boat.
As Magrim comments about the 'boat helping' Gnasher frowns. He looks at the boat to see if there was any 'fire damage' asking, "Maybe boat not pass through flames?"

Malgrim Gryh |

Malgrim will go try and be under the shelter while making room for the others.

"We need to get it moving. Let me have the torch and I think there is a plinth in the prow and stern. I Will go light use it on the one that leads points out and see what that does."
If I get the torch I go use it on the Plinth that points back through the curtain of lava.

miteke |

As soon as Malgrim puts the perpetual flame into the north facing cavity, the barge starts moving slowly at about walking speed. None of you seem affected by the heat. As you approach the magma curtain it parts while the barge slides past. Eventually it comes to a smooth stop at the landing in A4 (described here).

Thanks Malgrim :)
Watching as Malgrim lights the plinth, Gnasher steps back under the shadow of the open sided shelter. Raising an eyebrow in a very human fashion as the curtain if magma parts for the boat, he realizes their concern was unnecessarily.
Shifting his bardiche in paw, Gnasher follows Seif-al-Din from the boat and down the stairs in the southeast corner.

You ascend into a room with more magma, revealing the source of the magma waterfall below. A roar fills this chamber. To the northwest, a ledge looks out over a sheer drop into a pit, which plunges a hundred feet to a lake of bubbling magma. To the north, a river of magma flows into the room, cascading over the edge and down into the pit.
Please place your icons in room B7. I've placed your icons on the stair leading to the door to B7, which I've just assumed you opened.
