For those interested in Cosmic Captive Core: I realized I've already played in Core so I pulled out.

That leaves one opening in tier 1-2 Core.

I'm really glad GMs are starting to get their players to dot in, and also recruit to fill any gaps.

I do want to remind everyone that you can only play at one RPG table for RetroCon, unless your second table is either Cosmic Captive or not on Paizo.com. In that case, you are still limited to only two RPG tables.

I know it can be hard to find replacement GMs for an adventure path, but I'm hoping there is an exception here.

I announced a few days ago in Flaxseed discussion the death of GM Harker/Justin Warren, a member of our community for years.

He was running a table of Carrion Crown. They have decided that they would like to continue. They are well into book 2, and I believe they are doing campaign mode chronicles as appropriate. If you might be willing to take over this game, would you please send me a private message about it? If a few people offer, I can then discuss it with the players.

GMs, if you recruit to fill the gaps in your RetroCon tables, please make sure that the new players properly fill out the spreadsheet. Otherwise we are going to end up with tables that have too many players, and someone is going to end up feeling left out!

Forgive me, but I'm a little confused. Are we able to sign up for one table out of each area offered: ie: diamond city; shadow lodge; etc. or just one table out of all the choices?

In general, it's one RPG table and one ACG (the card game) table.

However, I announced later that people are allowed to sign up for a second RPG table, as long as at least one of their two tables is either Cosmic Captive or else on a site other than Paizo.com.

Yep, that's fine, since one of your two signups would be a cosmic captive.

A spot opened up on my 3-4 tier table of Legend of the Stonelords due to a player having signed up for more than one table.

There's a spot on a 5-6 table as well. Please see the sign up sheet and help fill the spots!

Who'd like to liven up their holiday season by breaking in a newbie GM? This will be my first time running both PFS and PbP (though not my first time GMing ever).

Aside from a couple people who have dibs on a spot if they want it, players will be selected randomly by the following method:

1. Signups as of 17:00 PST on 12/17 will be put in random order with the help of Random.Org's sequence generator.
2. Players will be selected from the top of the randomized list until the party is filled.
3. APL and tier will be calculated.
4. Anyone who is out-of-tier and doesn't want to play OOT will be removed.
5. Steps 2-4 will be repeated until either the party is full or the entire list has been gone through.

I know it's been a quick game for some people, but when I played it, it lasted a normal session length. With that plus allowing for newbie GMing, I would recommend not using a character that you want to have available for Retrocon.

I went back and forth about that a lot... you know what? Let's try it. Put your options in order of preference on one line, e.g. "Fred/Sara" under character and "5/2" in the level box.

If multiple people do this and I wind up with multiple options for party composition, I will slant it toward accomodating the first preference of whoever came up first in the random order.

If this doesn't make the process more complicated than I want to deal with, I'll revamp the signup sheet to accomodate this better next time.

I've thrown in my hunter w/ wolf. I can switch characters if it goes low.
