Hear ye hear ye! Black Friday special! I would like to offer two tables of the Emerald Spire (total of 8 players) Floor 1: The Tower Ruins. This is a level 1-2 evergreen, runs pretty quickly, and gives 3 XP. To those who don't know, the Spire's floors tend to be....tricky. Some builds just absolutely don't work on some floors.

On that note, I'd like one of these tables (the truly adventurous [or masochistic, whatever you call it] of you) as a full run of the Emerald Spire.

Signups will be chosen via drawing on Tuesday morning (Mountain Standard) November 27th, with preference given to those who've gamed with me before. Let me know in the signup if you'd like to hop on for just one floor and/or for the entire spire.

I'm (finally) wrapping up my GameDay scenario and have room to pick up another table. Goodness knows I've appreciated the GM's who've done that for my tables - my chance to repay the favor.

That being said, I've never taken over a table before. Anything to keep in mind that's different from a regular PbP game?

If you click on the "Kit for New PbP GMs" link in the header of this lodge, you can find a document about adopting an orphaned PFS game. Basically it's the same as running the ending of a regular game, but requires a bit of work up front, figuring out where exactly they are in the scenario. The reporting for this one will be slightly different from those instructions because it was originally part of the Gameday convention. I'll get back to you about that in a little bit.

The group consists of a fighter, cleric, gunslinger, and lore oracle currently.

First come first serve spots, but you have a little bit of time to get a PC ready as the group will likely need a day or two to level up and make purchases before we continue.

The Spire was written for 4 player parties. When I played through it (with a variety of 6 player parties) we frequently overwhelmed it. So, just a comment that if you don't find 2 replacement players it may actually be a good challenge for the players as is (though I imagine the absence of an arcane caster may present some issues at some points).

Thanks for the info Abraham. The early floors definitely seem to have the potential to suffer from an over populated party, but I imagine the higher level floors should be more of a challenge.

By the way, the scenario is levels 2-3, grants 3xp and 4 prestige.

He's currently a level 5 hunter, but I can probably have him 6 in a week-ish. He's melee focused, not explicitly a tank, but also has an animal companion for damage soaking purposes.

Oh I know, I just had to poke fun. I'd gladly play with you again, and I don't actually hold it against you. Bad rolls are bad rolls, good rolls are good rolls, and if there wasn't a level of risk it wouldn't be as fun.

I have some level two characters who would be happy (or very terrified) to play Among the Living, too. One is Core; the others are not.

So....mentioned a little while back that due to Assault on Absalom that I have a 2L that is looking for The Confirmation, etc. while he can. I didn't think I would be alone, but maybe so. Still, anyone interested in running any of the Evergreens that will allow a 2L as a 1-time option?
