Batpony:
Speaking as a relatively fresh GM myself, I would caution you against that. I am only a one star, with 12 games of credit, and am currently running a two tables of a higher tier game. The biggest problem I have found, is that although I can play at that level, GM'ing it is something completely different. I, for one, will be very quickly returning to GM'ing lower tier games for a while once this debacle is over.. if I don't just take a break from GM'ing completely for a while. As an aside though, if you would like more input from others, post your question on the discussion tab rather than the recruitment tab.

CORE

Hey everyone! I got 5 player slots left in a CORE game I'm looking to fill. It is going to be CORE #45: Delirium's Tangle CORE. It is not going to start until October 11, 2016 (Slot 2 of Gameday V).

Please read over the rules and make sure you can follow them before signing up. Link Here.

Should I make a persona for my animal companion? My details are yet to be finalized. Regarding weekends, my Saturdays are likely more free then my Sundays.

You can. Some people do. I don't (or at least I haven't yet).

You can include their statistics easily enough in the character's profile (you can look at my Summoner, Cavalier, Witch, and Druid for an example of a good way to do that).

I like to create profiles for my mounts/companions. I also have a "generic" Summoned Creature profile that I use for all characters who summon, changing up the profile info every time a character summons a different monster. (I haven't yet encountered a situation where two characters are summoning in different games at the same time, so it's never caused a problem.)

This profile is a (non-PFS) cavalier that I'm playing right now; notice the link in the cavalier profile to the Mount's profile (and the link back). I like how this allows me to post the mount's actions separately, if that's how combat goes, and it gives everyone ready access to all info without having to search it out in the main character profile. (I only wish that Paizo had a camel avatar image to go along with the profile. What's up with that, Paizo?)

They do. Though I referred to it once as the Bothan in bondage gear.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Man every time I see a game open up I miss the signup by like an hour and the game is full with a wait list.

Guess I just have to keep checking back.

Yea, that's the problem with first-come-first-served games. Some GMs do a lottery instead, so you at least have no worse a chance of getting in than anyone else, but FCFS seems more common. (And to be fair, it's a lot easier and lets the game start sooner.)

Sovereign Court

Finishing my first DM experience for PFS PbP, and having a blast. So going to continue with not one, not two, but three games![/ooc]

  • 6-10 The Wounded Wisp (CORE)
  • 6-10 The Wounded Wisp (Regular)
  • 6-08 The Segang Expedition (Regular)
Please sign up here if you're interested. For the Wounded Wisp, please note that there is one CORE and one regular game, so sign up for the correct one. Recruitment of the games would not be by first-come-first-serve. I would close recruitment on 30 Sep for selection subsequently. For the Wounded Wisp, priority would be given to those new to PFS and those who have not played the scenario before. To not confuse timing, games would start on 12 Oct, together with slot 2 of Gameday V. Please note that there are already 2 slots reserved for The Segang Expedition. Thanks!

Dark Archive

The 6'5" Green half-orc enters the lodge having completed her first assignment successfully.

"Anyone need assistance?"

Grand Lodge

Recruiting for we be goblins too! It it's tier 2-4 but everyone will be playing pregens! Sign up here.

A tall elf walks into the tavern and nails a post on the wall.

Looking for a few good pathfinders to complete a few errands.

I'm looking for a replacement player for my PFS Core Emerald Spire Campaign. The group will be beginning level 7 soon, so your character should be between 5th and 7th level with the intention to join permanently to finish out the rest of the dungeon. Also, the group could use someone in a dedicated arcane role, so preference will be given to Wizards and Sorcerers.

If you are interested and have a Core character that meets the above criteria, please send me a private message.

Dark Archive

Recruiting for 0-06, Black Waters. This is a tier 1-5 and all are welcome. I would like to start the game on Monday, Oct 10 and this will be part of Game Day V.

I will then follow this up with the sequel, 7-05 School of Spirits. I would like to have the same group through both scenarios so please be able to commit to the follow up game as well. This one will probably not be part of Game Day however.

I tend to run my games a bit on the fast side and ask for active posters.

HERE is the link.

Sovereign Court

Once again the 'World Greatest Entertainer' steps forward.

Who wants to go to Thuvia!? Who wants to strike the final blow on the treacherous, evil, vile Korholm Agenda!?

This is a mission for some seasoned agents. Check in here . Then get ready to meet up with Master of Swords, Marcos Farabellus, in Merab, in northern Thuvia.

The tengu bard takes a deep bow and then moves off the stage to wait for potential agents.

I am running The Blakros Matrimony as part of Gameday V, and would like to start shortly. One player has withdrawn, so I have a spot available. One other player hasn't checked in yet, so I might have another spot opening as well.

If you have interested, please let me know in the recruitment thread. I'll go by first come, first serve here. First player to post in the recruitment thread gets the open spot, second one is put on the waitlist in case the last player drops.

Two points to note:
- We'll be playing high subtier.
- As the title implies, this scenario features a wedding. If your character only feels at home while bashing orc skulls in, maybe another character would be better suited to this mission.

Core, Classic, or both?

As GM, yes to both. Thanks for reminding me, I'll add that to the spreadsheet.

Happy to see you over here TOZ, let us know if there's anything that I can do to help (or bounce ideas).

Thanks Shifty. I suppose I should have removed the APs/Modules from my tracker before posting that link. I don't think running one of those as my pilot game would be a good idea. (Unless people just want to dungeon crawl through the sanctioned content.)

Silver Crusade

Is there anything with an open spot for a level 3.2 halfling warpriest of Desna? I'd like to get in on some game day action if possible.

I will be looking to post recruitment threads for The Goblinblood Dead and School of Spirits tonight after our Carrion Crown game, if you haven't played one of those.

Silver Crusade

Isn't school of spirits the sequel to Black Waters? If so, I played Black Waters but not school of spirits. :)

I've put you on the list, recruitment threads will come later as promised.

Edit: OR RIGHT NOW!

Segang Expedition recruitment open. Follow link.

Is anyone interested in a GMing exchange for a second slot of the gameday? I'll run something you need/want to play in exchange you running something for me.

Otherwise I'll just grab something off my recruiting list.

Quite new to pbp GMing but I'm at the moment free to GM, haven't gotten around to recruiting though. Would be glad to GM for you.

Liberty's Edge

That'll work.

What scenarios are on your shortlist?

Recruitment is up!

Recruiting for 5-21 Merchant's Wake. Targetting a low tier and high tier table :)

I'm still relatively new to play by post. In terms of # of games played anyway. And I am learning to truly appreciate players who post at least one every weekday and GMs who post that often and keep the players informed about what is actually going on.

With that in mind I am looking for an experienced GM and players for some PFS CORE games for some 5 - 9 or low 7 - 11 games.

Bigguyinblack wrote:

I also would like such CORE games. I have CORE characters in the 5-9 range and a couple of those fit into the 7-11 range too; and I am a frequent poster. ;)

Grand Lodge

I have a druid, wizard and monk in that range and am definitely interested. I just started my first PbP last week, but so far I'm probably averaging two posts per day and am pretty sure I can maintain that.

Looking for one more player for PFS PbP Gameday 5 - CORE: PFS First Steps—Part I: In Service to Lore

Once Gameday V wraps up I'm looking for four people to run the Goblins series. I have a barbarian who I'm going to RP as having lived with goblins for a while and need the chronicles.

If you're interested in playing We Be Goblins, We Be Goblins Too, We Be Goblins Free, and We Before Goblins let me know. Get some interesting boons for the holidays!

Scarab Sages

I've played all those except We Be Goblins Free, so I'd be interested in that and that alone.

Interested!

I have played 2 and 4 and ran 1. I will burn a GM star to replay 2 if you will have me. Chronicles to go on a new character.

I'm game. Haven't done any of them. :)

Each are re-playable with lvl 1 characters.

Tyranius: Are you running them sequentially or all 3 parts at once?

Dark Archive

I am running as 3 separate parts at once so that more people may be able to play.

The Exchange

GM Aeon wrote:

I'm interested. I've only played the first one, which I believe is replayable.

Thanks, I've signed up for all 3 with separate characters.

Feels greedy though, am happy to unsign up from 1 or more if that's at all an issue.

Scarab Sages

It's not "greedy," it's just enthusiastic! :)
