Greetings, fair players. This is the Recruitment forum, we know what goes on here, and I am TOZ, who you likely already know. This will be my first foray into the GM seat of PbPs, so I don't have a lot of say about what I expect.

What you should be able to expect from me is at least one post per day. I will do my best to keep this moving along at a decent pace and ask that you try to keep up with the flow. I plan on using Roll20 for maps and handouts, but can accommodate you if you don't use that service.

We have not decided between Core or Standard yet. I have no preference, as I use the same things either way. Please know your characters abilities, as I cannot guarantee that I will. I imagine I will have plenty of opportunity to review quirky rules interactions, but the less I have to review the better.

I would like to recommend using Google slides if you have a google account. This link takes you to my Kingmaker game's 'map folio'. My Saga Star Wars GM was looking for a map app so I directed him to slide 8 that I mocked up from the game to let him try the functionality of the software. Feel free to fiddle with that slide (slide 8), but the others are all in use, so look but don't touch please.

Thanks for the recommendations! I'll take a look after Carrion Crown is done tonight. I may run duplicates, so I have a Roll20 table as well once this is over.

I've got two characters who could go for this, a lvl1 fighter or a lvl5 wizard, depending on what level is chosen.

So everyone knows, I have an Alchemist (Metamorph) 1 or a Paladin 2 for standard, and I have a Paladin 2 or a Cleric of Gorum 4 for CORE, and I am good for either game mode.

Curse you, make a decision! :P

That's nuthin'. Once (probably at band camp), we had a cleric of Shelyn, two paladins of Shelyn, and a gnome illusionist worshiper of the same. All gals, we were like the Shelyn Scouts! Well, at least that's the way Apollyanna would see it.

Mr. Z and the second CORE crew finally killed that paperhanging Master of Spells sonuvab~+!! the second time through. Had so much fun, I rebuilt the Zedmiester as a 1st level Pathfinder legal character. Now I just need to kill someone to get into a game.... ;)

Sorry about that, tried to update the campaign to say it specifically.

With the 4 characters we have we are at 2.75, and the only way we'd get impactfully higher would be of the remaining two brought a pair of 4's or 5's to the table (bringing us to 3.1 and 3.5 respectively), so I think we are safely low-tier :-)

Unless I'm confused on how rounding and tiers worked for season 3, in which case I dunno

As an aside, I wonder what happened to Marnarius; I haven't come across any scenarios where he's mentioned.

There was a season 6 I played that mentioned him, but it really was only a passing mention in a note on some mooks that had no bearing on the rest of the adventure

We are officially APL 2.5 and can choose which subtier to play at. I recommend 4-5 due to being a six man party, but I leave it up to the 2nd level characters for that decision. Phylotus, Upaynao, if we go low tier you are welcome to switch characters if you so desire.

On a season 3 I am comfortable going upIt is scaled for 4 so it is no different than playing up with the 4 player adjustment

Doesn't matter to me, I do not think it has any impact.

I'm okay with it! I'm my player's first character in CORE, so if I bite it, he knows what to expect from the campaign!

*sigh* Remind me to fix the fourth wall one of these days...
