Interesting, Andrew! I'll put my name up shortly, but I have a question. Made a Roll20 account a while ago, but didn't end up needing it. Is it just for maps and such, and the game is still played here? Looks as if that's what's happening, and is my preference.

Yes, it is just for maps. This will run as a normal PbP game. I am running it online via roll20 separately.

I'm looking for some folks to help a couple of Pathfinders continue in their quest to experience everything Hao Jin Tapestry. They just finished The Temple of Empyreal Enlightenment and are moving on to #4-07 Severing Ties.

I'm pushing to finish this before Game Day so I'll be taking the first 4 folks to check in and we'll start right after we get enough players.

If you're interested recruitment is HERE.

Recruitment is closed. Thanks, everyone.

To be clear, the games that are not First Come, First Served are the ones that are recruiting in other fashions. At most of those, seats are not guaranteed because they are doing lottery or some other selection method. As those games a) do not have guaranteed seats and b) are not recruiting on our sheet, we decided to make things easier and exclude them from the Player Gameday signup limits. Our signup limit caused significant problems when players did not know if they were in a game or not.

Please sign up for the other games in a responsible fashion. It is a bad idea to enter yourself in 10 lottery games if you only have the capacity for 2.

Personally, I am happy that the majority of the PBP Gameday VIII games are FCFS, because it makes it easier for new players to find open tables, but we want to be open to all sorts of recruitment options for the Gameday, which has traditionally been a "run what you want" convention.

Hmm

Now recruiting for a quick run of Master of the Fallen Fortress (Standard). Take a look here and indicate if you wish to join.

This is to help me (and 4-6 PC's) help bridge the doldrums until Gameday starts up. Good luck storming the Castle... er Fortress!

Every Pathfinder’s adventures come to an end eventually, and when an esteemed venture-captain is laid to rest, the Society was unaware of his outstanding debt to the Ekujae elves of the Mwangi Expanse. The elves have not forgotten though, and they expect the Society to make good on the late venture-captain’s promises. It's up to six bold Pathfinders to brave the Mwangi jungle and the dangers within to salvage the Society’s reputation in the region!

If this sounds fun to you, check out Recruitment here! This will be a table for Gameday VIII, but due to the broad level tier (1-5), the party will be handpicked, not First Come First Serve. Hope to see you there soon!

^I'm Lady Ladile and I endorse this scenario and/or GM :3

Seriously though, I'm highly enjoying myself in GM Choptop's Confirmation game *and* the scenario in question is a fun one with some great roleplaying opportunities. The selected party should have a grand time :)

Liberty's Edge

I'm running #9-21: In the Grandmaster’s Name (3-7th) on Myth-weavers (with plenty of space) for Gameday VIII. :here

You'll need a Myth-weavers sheet See (here) linked in your posts and preferably a character image.

Grand Lodge

Is there a reason we can't see the names of the GMs on the GameDay sign up spreadsheet?

I can see them. Maybe it has to do with permissions?

You have been chosen to venture out on this mission! If you weren't chosen, don't fret! There's many tables open on this Gameday, you'll definitely find plenty of others you enjoy!

  • You might have to scroll a bit to the right. The sheet is split up in two separate views, and the left side holds the GM info.

Could you describe a bit more of what you see? The GM names should be visible on Column F of the FCFS Signups sheet.

If you are looking at it on a mobile device, the display might not be wide enough. The cells are locked from columns A-F, so if the display is narrow, you might only see columns A-B/C, before it jumps to G. Just slide the area before column G and that should work.

Resolved! I was indeed looking at it on a tablet, and didn't notice that the left-side pane was scrollable.

    Thanks Iff and GM kuey!

Looking for some Pathfinders midway through their careers who are ready to brave the Halflight Path - and beyond! Or perhaps you'd fancy a trip to Varisia to settle a debt of the Society to one of the Shoanti tribes? Adventure awaits!

Both expeditions (#9-9 Beyond the Halflight Path and #10-14 Debt to the Quah) are tier [3-7] and will set off Aug. 26 as part of Gameday VIII. Sign-ups will be closed either Aug. 19 or at 12 signups (whichever happens first). Final party roster will be decided by lottery and participants notified in this thread.

Interested? Put down your name and character information here!

Sign up your application for GM Worg's Unleashing the Untouchable and rise as a legend!

I still have 1 spot in We B4 Goblins. I know it is close to Gameday.

Looking for a fast, not overly ruleslawyery fun run of 'Cradle of Night' if anyone has GM'ed it before and is willing to run it again for a few 'fast and furious' multiple times a day posters through it (with clear botting instructions by all for when we're sleeping or eating and such... :P )

I struggle to picture a fast 68 page module. Or rules-flexible-go-with-the-flow PFS.

I might have to watch this if you get a GM :D

I have recently started to prep this to run on VTT but I would not be averse to doing a PbP version. Do you have a group ready who want to play it together?

I do tend to prefer to run modules for 4 players.

Ok, have 4 players, still 2 seat available. Sign Up Sheet

What's your schedule for the VTT one? I'm not adverse to try it if there's room... it would probably be significantly faster that way. How long would you estimate PbP to take for a module like this?

It is unlikely to be before mid August at the very earliest.

I expect it to take 6-9 months in PbP depending on posting rates. There is a lot of content. For a VTT game I am planning on probably 6 sessions.

I am based in the UK which may be a consideration for joining a VTT game. I do run a lot of online games for people in the US/Canada.

Mask of the living god for gameday
I have now lifted the party composition limits on this game, even though I don't think all the requirements have been meet..
We have 4 people signed up, I would like to get 2 to 3 more, first come first serve.

I'm recruiting players for Mists of Mwangi as part of Gameday. If you're interested, please see the recruitment thread here.

Thanks for the offer GMandrewW but I'm gonna pass as I can't commit for 6 months right now. Your estimate appears sound though considering it took me about 8 F2F sessions of 4 hours each to run a local group through House on Hook Street (and that was with a firm hook in the players' collective mouth...)

Well, it looks like my gameday table for a CORE Call of the Copper Gate is full. Could the following players head over to the discussion thread to pop in their information. You can put an RP post into gameplay as well if you like.

    nighdeath... appearing as Urias
    qstor appearing as Grog
    Ilmakis appearing as Titiana and
    Andreww as Argenta.

You'll be joining Ironshanks and Gwendolyn (and of course, Hera the owl).

Ok, table for Storming the Diamond Gate is full.

In a stone chamber deep beneath the Pathfinder Society’s headquarters in Absalom’s Grand Lodge, a sea of scribes, scholars, and other studious types hover around a single, worn tapestry laid out carefully in this otherwise austere chamber. Marcos Farabellus, the broad-shouldered Master of Swords, sticks out like a sore thumb in this crowd of erudite individuals. His bald head and wide smile are only intensified through a booming laugh that blasts forth from behind a thick, black beard. Pathfinders! Gather here.

The Master of Swords strides toward a tactical map pinned against one of the wooden scaffolds that clutter the room at various angles and heights. With a meaty, scarred hand he points to the well- drawn map. We discovered the location of the Aspis Consortium’s forays into the Hao Jin Tapestry. Somewhere within this stone sphinx hides the Aspis Consortium’s base of operations. We believe a portal within the building somehow grants the Consortium a back door into our hard-earned Hao Jin Tapestry. I know the tapestry is usually under the purview of my spellcasting counterpart Aram Zey’s, but this mission is of a purely tactical nature: clear out their base and secure the portal for our own use.

Now, this stone sphinx is believed to contain a shrine dedicated to the demon lord Areshkagal. Whether the Consortium’s working with demon-worshiping cultists, I don’t know, so be prepared for anything. I don’t care how you reach the Aspis Consortium’s portal, but we need to teach those greedy profiteers a lesson for trespassing on Pathfinder territory. I need you to get in, wipe the shrine clean of Aspis filth, and secure the tapestry side of their portal. By no means enter it, however. Your job is to secure the site and activate the portal only. The Decemvirate plans to send a more experienced team of agents to investigate what lies beyond. Once you have activated the portal, report back here.

Any questions before you go into the tapestry?

Hey, I'm new to PFS and PbP Pathfinder (started my first adventure a couple days ago), and I really want to find a table to meet other people and play with them. I've already signed up in three tables for the upcoming Gameday VIII, but would love to find others to play with right now. I'm currently in the process of creating a new PFS character, where can I find a game to join?
