I have a L3 Core Wizard who would be interested.

Not sure I understand the appeal of the model pathfinder boon. A character 3 levels lower than Ebonfists will get a temporary bonus for the scenario that they are in. That sounds more like a boon you use when a low level character just happens to wind up in high tier, not something you'd actively recruit for. For example, in this particular scenario, a level 3 character would get a whole 3hp bonus for this one scenario; that doesn't seem too enticing, so I'm not sure if I'm missing something or if maybe you guys think the bonus is permanent?

I think everyone should know it's not permanent as it's stated clearly in the boon that it lasts for the duration of the scenario. I do think it's a neat boon to role-play which I think is the primary focus here...and in addition, it gives the 'students' a modest boost for the scenario...

While I think most take the extra HP offered by the boon that's not the only option; you can also choose either +1 to AC or +1 to all saving throws. The extra HP can come in handy for lower tier PCs since they're likely to get more damage playing high tier...

My -1 has it and it's come in handy a couple of times; first time there was only one lower tier guy and he took the AC bonus. Second time when my -1 was 9th level, we had three lower tier PCs so it proved more useful; two chose the HP and one the AC...

I think they are recruiting based mostly on the mentoring RP aspects of the boon instead of the mechanical ones.

Yeah, it's almost purely for RP purposes. If it had applied to any of my other characters, I wouldn't have asked but I only play Kahwen on the forums and, because of the way recruitment works here, you almost never end up with folks out of tier. It's just too easy to find plenty of people in whatever tier you're looking to play. So, I figured the only chance I'd ever get to use it was if I specifically asked for the scenario required.

Also, I originally glossed over the part about the high tier requirement and liked the idea of Kahwen leading a bunch of lower level Pathfinders on an adventure. It also would have been much more effective if that was allowed since 5 members of the party would be getting a boost (in a 3rd level adventure) instead of just 1.

I suppose there's nothing preventing Kahwen from acting like a tutor in an RP and not mechanical way every time a lower level Pathfinder ends up in his party.

A game of Slavers' End (high tier) I'm in has lost its GM. GM Amsheager lasted posted two and a half weeks ago. Would any GM be up for taking over? This is NOT a Game Day game.

Pursuant to a request in an earlier post here by EbonFist, I’m recruiting for The Labyrinth of Hungry Ghosts (S7-19). This will be run in high tier (6-7) with a little twist; we need one fearless, low-tier level three character willing to play out of tier that will be a student/sidekick of EbonFist’s character Kahwen, so he can put his Model Pathfinder Agent boon to use. This is a cool boon that will grant a bonus to characters 3+ levels less than Kahwen (who is 6th level). I plan to start either Monday or Tuesday of next week, providing we have enough players by then. One high tier spot is reserved for Kahwen so we need 4 more high tier PCs along with the aforementioned fearless 3rd level...

If we have more than enough PCs showing interest by Friday evening, I’ll select based on a combination of party mix and lottery...

I'm considering running The Frostfur Captives some time next week, now that college is clearing up and I can dedicate more time to my job and hobbies. I've got some PbP games under my belt, but thought I'd inquire if anyone is interested in that particular scenario. (no reservations, just asking!)

^Frostfur Captives is a really fun scenario, especially if folks are willing to get into things and roleplay! I had a blast when I got to play it :)

I'm looking for a replacement player who would like to join an in-process game of Murder's Mark. This is a tier 1-2 module that gives 3 xp. This mod involves a murder mystery and most of the action so far has been role play and information gathering, so a new player would need to be willing to read back through the gameplay thread to get up to speed on what has transpired so far (there are about 120 posts in gameplay so far). The current party consists of an Occultist, an Investigator, and an Unchained Monk.

I’ve been dying for a scenario my Level 4 Picaroon can get into, and my research shows Frostfur Captives is 1-5? If that’s the case she’d be happy to join!

My 4th level kineticist would be happy to take any gig that comes her way. She hates being bored.

Murder's Mark isn't evergreen is it?

I'd have to double-check the guide, but I believe that all tier 1-2 are evergreen, at least for level 1 PCs, but I think you can only play them at level 2 once.

It is absolutely an evergreen at Level 1, and requires a replay if you want to do it again at Level 2. It is recommended that at least some members of your party are Level 2, but the module is pretty doable at low tier if you have the right party mix.

Level 3 mostly-arcanist here, up for Frostfur Captives. She'd enjoy being around a picaroon, or anyone else with a gun!

I have always regretted not getting a chance to play Frostfur Captives.

Aeliah (non-core druid 5) would definitely be interested.

I wouldn't running through Frostfur again. I already done it once in standard, so if you offer a core run, I would like to join.

Not sure if I am willing to burn a replay for standard though.

If you’re still available, I have a Level 1 Battle Sorceress who’s itching for her first adventure. She’s a bit light on skills, only having Bluff as a social skill, but has great melee and magic capabilities.

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let others know that I will be stepping in to finish off the module Daughters of Fury, in GM Sapphire Fox's stead. I was one of the players, but the group and the game was too good to leave unfinished.

I believe the Reign of Winter AP still needs a replacement GM if anyone is interested.

You should be in tier and this wont be first come first served. If we take another player I want to make sure they fit reasonably well with what we already have.

I would sign up in a hearbeat as I really enjoy your GMing, but I really want to get Part 1 done first at some point in the future! I hope you find a good player replacement!
