Ok, how do we feel about something quick so that it doesn't disrupt people's Gameday with characters? Ambush in Absalom? Or is that a little too quick?
A Pathfinder carrying an important message has gone missing in the sewers beneath Absalom, but what the PCs find when they investigate the missing agent's fate is something few expect.
Other things I already have prepped are Confirmation, Silver Hex, Phantom Phenomena, Honor's Echo and Harmonious House of Wisdom.

I believe I'm signed up for a "The Confirmation" table for Gameday, but the other options are fine for me. Maybe those short PFS adventures made specifically for newbies are the best thing to play, as you said, to avoid disruption of Gameday's tables.

Hello all! I believe recruitment is open for my GameDay VIII games. I will be running standard games of 10-18 The Daughter's Due and 10-21 Slaver's End. Please head over to the Sign-Up Sheet if interested. Lines 20 and 22 in the "other recruitment" tab.

^Yes indeed! Apologies to whose who have been waiting for an 'official' announcement but unlimited player signups for PbP Gameday VIII are now open. This means that you may sign up to play as many games as you think you can handle*. That said, please take care to be responsible and avoid signing up for more than you can reasonably keep up with as it can become quite the burden on your fellow GMs and players to have people dropping out mid-game.
You can find the signup spreadsheet for games here.
Enjoy and Happy Gaming!

*Though SFS #2-00 Fate of the Scoured God may be played for credit once in each tier, we are currently restricting players to one signup for Gameday. We plan to offer this particular special again in the not-too-distant future and would rather not see the majority of our SFS players burn through their opportunities to play it all in one shot.

Looking for a few more CORE campaign players to join the Gameday VIII Destiny of Sands series. I was really hoping some level 2.1-3 players would join and we could run the whole series starting with part one. For players signing up for part two, I'll run part three for them as well. Only the first games in the series will be included in the Gameday and the rest will happen right after it.

I would love to play all three scenarios, but all my characters are 1st level (I'm new). Any way to play all the adventures with a 1st level character with 0xp?

Unfortunately, that particular series is tier 1-5 for parts 1 and 2, but tier 3-7 for part 3. That means that in order to play all three parts your character has to have at least 7XP, so that it levels up to 3 in time for part 3.

Aww... Thanks for the clarification. I guess I'll pass then, hopefully next year I'll have a character which could tackle such kind of adventures.

Part 1 and 2 with a level 1 PC;
Part 3 with a level 4 Pregen and assign to same PC, and hold the chronicle in standby until you reach level 3.Diaz Ex Machina |

This is an interesting exploit to play the entire adventure arc, I'll take that into consideration. Thanks.

I believe pregen chronicles are applied at the level of the pregen, not the lowest level of the tier, so in this particular case I think you would apply the chronicle when you get to level 4, not 3. The exception is scenarios that themselves come with pregens, like the We Be Goblins series; for those you do apply at the lowest level of the tier. Hopefully PF2 will have less confusing things like this.

To clarify, I'm running the three listed Destiny of the Sands games on game day at the same time. You only need to sign up for part 1 if you want to do the whole series with the same character. The other games are for people that want to finish the series and have completed one or more parts already.
The game plan will look something like this:
Group 1 signs up for part 1.
Group 2 signs up for part 2.
Group 3 signs up for part 3.
When group 1 finishes part 1, we will go on to part 2.
When group 2 finishes part 2, we will go on to part 3.
When group 1 finishes part 2, we will go on to part 3.
End result will be that:
Group 1 finishes all three parts.
Group 2 finishes parts 2 and 3.
Group 3 finishes part 3.
So everyone has a chance to finish the whole series.
Keep in mind that PFS only allows for your character to be playing in one game at a time. So while the character is in one play by post games, it cannot be used for any other games until that game is finished.
Also these three groups could use some more CORE players if anyone is interested in completing the series.

Character doesn't need to be a social powerhouse. I just want people willing to roleplay. If your char is close to ready when the time comes lemme know. It's still a few weeks away, so yeah who knows. Waiting a little extra is not the end of the world. Feel free to jump in the recruit/discussion.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I'm very green to PFS and would like to get into it. Is this the actual recruitment thread to do that?
Defiantly there's a PbP game day coming up and most of the PF1 low level games are full. Maybe someone will add one.
PF 2 is coming up tomorrow at GenCon but PF1 is still valid.

Right now there's recruitment going for a lot of games to start in August, take a look at what Qstor was talking about (if you haven't found it already)
And this is indeed the place where throughout the year a lot of new games can be found.

If you are willing to try another forum, there is a table of What the Helms Hide that needs more players over on Myth Weavers.

Recruitment is here.
It's a level 4-6 for anyone who doesn't know.
We'll start as soon as we get at least 4 people but I'll take up to 6.
