Brother Lucian Vartas |

As the lance of psychic fire scours the daemon and sends it back to the warp, Lucian turns and scans for further threats, his twin hearts pumping at a great pace to keep him sharp for further combat.
Seeing nothing but his Brothers and Colonel Folken's brave troopers, he powers down the plasma cannon, tendrils of coolant dissolving into the air.
Not what we expected, eh brothers? Well fought all.
Lucian opens a vox channel to Colonel Folken. Colonel, your men acquitted themselves in exemplary fashion today. I am proud to serve with them.
He then turns towards Lutha, and follows him into the compound to clear out any remaining pockets of heretic resistance and to gather any further evidence they can find of the Beast House's activities.

Col Folken |

Appreciate the recognition Master Astartes, just doing the Emperor's work. The Col calls back. You can hear him issuing orders and demolitions being safely blown up in the compound. What do you want me to do with these heretics you had me hold onto? We had to beat a few of them to sleep they got so rowdy when the enemy came.
The bodies of the Phyrr cats are carried out of the facility. The only evidence of other species is the cages left and what ever was on the Data Slates.

DaemonHunter Ahmazzi |

The sound of the Daemonhunter comes over the vox and interrupts Col. Folken.
++ Once you have finished securing the area. Bring Brother Jacob's body back to me on the Pious Immolation. We may have won the battle, but it was at a great cost today. I will expect a full report when you get back, and be prepared to go right back out. Our ship is heavily damaged, and the only hope might be with what is left on that traitor vessel. Ahmazzi out.++

Brother Lucian Vartas |

++As you command my lord. Brother Jacob will be afforded the greatest respect.++
Lucian returns to the Colonel's channel. Keep hold of them Colonel, keep them sedated if you must. We will have question for them when we return to the Pious Immolation.

Brother Arkhos |

Arkhos finally comes out of his unconsciousness pushing away with his hand until he notice he is no longer in combat, his anger just increases and flares as he notices he has failed to execute the Emperor's wish by being defeated by the daemon, he can't stand himself, he would use a pain glove would he had one until enlightenment would reach him. Arkhos listens tot he daemonhunter but he does not answer for his voice sounds far away in his thoughts of failure and anger.
Arkhos eventually stumbles on his feet and looks around to the battlefield and the glorious combat he missed for failing, he is now convinced that he must atone for his failures somehow.

Watch Captain Enoch |

One the surface, techpriests and enginseers are unhooking the plasma generator. We need the holy spirits to rejuvenate the vessel of the righteous. Is all that is said when asked about it.
When you get back on the Pious Immolation it is a chaotic scene. Servators and techpriests are scrambling to respond to multiple ship issues.
Medical servators bring Brother Arkhos to a special room. The Deathwatch Keeper begins to assist his serious wounds. It is apparent now that he was an apothecary before became a Keeper. Once Brother Arhkos is stable, the Keeper races to collect Brother Jacob's geneseed.
Daemonhunter Ahmazzi takes the body of Brother Jacob and says a prayer over it as it is sealed in a Stasis chamber. It is unclear to the purpose of this and the ancient Inquisitor looks to be in no mood to answer questions.
Report to my office once you have returned the equipment and had a chance to get refreshed.

Brother Valerio León |

Valerio carries some of the collected weaponry with great care as he brings it to the Armory. He deposits their findings as he returns his gear, dressing himself in simple loose fitting fatigues that cover the less human parts of his body. He takes a deep breath, happy to be back on board the Pious Immolation, even given the rather grim situation they were in at the moment.
He reports to the office quickly after he takes a moment to calm himself.

DaemonHunter Ahmazzi |

The Watch Captain's office was not spared in the attack. The desk is in disarray and sliding door to his personal chambers is broken, leaving it open. You can see in his personal chambers. On his wall is a large sword.
Here is the situation. We are going to recover as much as we can from the Tech compound and use what we can, but as of now this ship is not operational. The Magos believe if we can salvage some crucial parts off the traitor's ship we might have a chance. Even if that is true, our Gellar field was damaged. It is unknown if this traitor ship has one, but in my experience they do not use one. We might have to make port at Sekmet, a known Pirate Port and haven to the very heretics we just disposed of. A plan is being formulated at this time for that contingency, for now we need to secure what we can off the traitor's ship. The Watch Captain clears his throat and arranges some of the items on his desk trying to make them organized.
Also, during the battle we sent in a breach team of Acolytes and Sisters. They have not returned or contacted us. If you find them, and they have somehow been able to resist the corruption of the warp, bring them back. Daemonhunter Ahmazii enters the Room.
Daemonhunter Ahmazii wants to address the team The captain says as he steps into his personal chambers and trys to put things together.
The Daemonhunter is an aged white male. His hair is bleach white and a collection of strings. He has many cybernetic augmentations, including the right side of his torso. Multiple weapons are on his hips, including a meltagun and several witch-stakes.
I was mind-melded with Brother Jacob when he hit the planet, so I know what you all faced. One warp creature of such magnitude is rare and powerful, two in a such a small warband is almost unheard of. I have seen the data slates, but I want to hear about the events that up to Brother Jacob's defeat.Assuming no one is planning on lieing or hiding anything from the Daemonhunter, if you are PM me.
After hearing the report the aged Inquisitor takes a moment to think about what was said, then responds I see. Well we have a new task ahead of us, and if these traitors have such a close relationship to Daemonkind, you need to go in prepared. I have authorized the Keeper to Open the Vaults of the Ordo Malleus. Most of our weaponry only works for those attuned to the warp, but we have some items that can be of use to any Astartes.
Daemonhunter Ahmazzi clears his throat then calls in a servitor.
For recognition in bravery in the face of true evil, I Ahmazzi T'su the third, of house T'su, Inquisitor and Daemonhunter of the Ordo Malleus and representative of the Calixian Conclave and Tyrantine Cabal award Brother Elyas this Skull and Motto of the Ordo Malleus.
This looks like a regular Skull and Motto, except it is red and the words Malleus Exterminatus are written on it. You gain Peer (Ordo Malleus) and will always been allowed access to their weaponry even after this mission.
And the Calixis Opus to Brother Leon. I do this in place of Grand Magos Sinroc who is tending to issues with the ship. This is similar to the Machina Opus in rites of battle, except this is specific to the Lathe Worlds and the Calixis Sector. You will be granted Access to the Lathe Worlds, and any Archeotech in the armory so long as you have the renown/requisition for it.
Primary Mission Escort a Magos and his team of servators to the needed equipment and bring it back.
Secondary Mission Identify these traitors and discover why they were in the sector.
Tertiary Mission Attempt to locate the survivors of the breach team.
Requisition 250 points. I will post items avalible from the ordo malleus soon, this post has gotten too large.

For our initial breach the Sisters sent in servitors with breaching augers. They breached the hull and were able to operate several of the docking bays. I have coordinates of the docking bay the Sisters used. It is possible that the servitors are still operational, and using the same location might help you find any survivors. Hopefully the Sisters cleared a way for you as well.

Elyas |

Reporting in
Listening to the inquisitor Elyas is somewhat surprised when the honour is presented. "Most gracious of the Inquisition, thank you Sir," he says when the smaller man has placed the Skull and Motto on his armour. Stepping back with his fellow marines thoughts fly through his head. By the Lion what will my chapter say? Can I ever set foot in the hallowed halls again? I only did what was expected, I told nothing. Am I to close to the inquisition to tell? Is it on of their schemes? Troubled by the ramifications of the honour Elyas remains even more silent than normal, his thoughts not on the mission at hand. As Arkhos reports in, he breaks his chain of thoughts and try to catch up.
Nice, this provides a great hook for roleplay and perhaps some character development. Alas I fear, he will never be a part of the inner circle now. Tainted by the inquisition, who would have thought.

Brother Arkhos |

You could look more honored brother" as he looks at Elyas that took the glory of the kill and Arkhos cannot shake the feeling of being robbed of something, but sometimes the burden of leading means you don't always shine but is to use the best tools for the jobs, yet he cannot fathom the idea of being robbed of his glory.

Brother Del |

A battle brother with the iconography of the Red Scorpions, the equipment of an Apothecary and the Iron Skull on his shoulder suddenly arrives.
"Del of the Red Scorpions reporting in, Brother-Captain. The Will of the Emperor be done."
He looks at the other Astartes and pronounces: "You all appear to be untainted. I can fight with you. The Emperor be praised."

![]() |

Once you are all ready you find the Magos and his team of servitors waiting for you in the Aquila lander. The pilot plots a course to the original breach point. You can see through the pilot's windows that the Traitor's ship was extremely damaged, and it does seem to be sitting lifeless in the void.
The pilot is able to communicate to the servitor of the original breach team and it opens a bay door. Bodies of Sisters and Traitors float out of the bay as the doors open. Once you land the bay doors are closed.

Brother Del |

Del looks at the battle brother who sports also an Iron Skull.
"Well met, brother. What is the name you are known to the Emperor?"
Del notices one of the other battle brothers slinking behind some stacked cargo crates.
"You there. I have just introduced myself. Will you not do the same? The Emperor is watching."

![]() |

Inside the bay is a grizzly display of blood and recent battle. Corpses are hung with hooks in the ceiling and heretical glyphs are painting in blood on the walls.

Brother Valerio León |

"Well met Brother Del. I am Brother-Techmarine Valerio León of the Crimson Fists." Valerio smiles to his new compatriot before placing his helmet relevantly upon his head.
Once the Aquila lander enters the bay, Valerio moves out with Lutha, taking a defensive position to the left of Lutha's, flanking the kill-zone.

Brother Del |

"Lamenters... yes, your Chapter is known to me and the Emperor, Brother Lutha. We shall be watching rest assured. We shall be watching."
Del for all his faults is in control of his humors and does not allow past grievances to cloud his judgment. Besides, did not the Red Scorpions triumph in the end by the grace of the Emperor?
"But as I said before I can fight with you and that includes you Brother Lutha for you are untainted. I do not make mistakes in such things and neither does the Emperor blessed be His Name."

Brother Del |

"Well met, Brother Leon. The Emperor sees all our works."
