My apologies for taking this long to get Valens Kovac ready.

Here is my xp spend for the 41,000xp. I'll work out requisition asap.

Basic backstory: He has mostly been fighting traitor marines and tech-heretics, and has developed an intense interest in countering tech-heresy wherever he finds it. He is willing to understand it, if only enough to better destroy it, assuming that his mind can withstand such pressures.

A few questions on cybernetics:

1. Would any of those five extra bionics be exceptional or master-crafted quality?

2. Would cybernetics from outside Deathwatch be available? Specifically, good quality-cerebral implants and the vocal implant from various books, most recently Dark Heresy 2nd edition core book. I imagine cerebral implants would need to be at least exceptional quality for best effect.

Edit:

3. DW p177 talks of the features a servo-harness has "at a minimum". Would exceptional or master-crafted versions have additional features, such as optical or medicae mechadendrites?


You may decide, 2 master and 2 exceptional, or 1 master 4 exceptional, or 3 master... From any book fine... Servo harness given by your alt rank has detailed description, extra mechandrites you'll need to add from the above choices or as part of the natural techmarine rank progression bonus in core... Xing also took the cortical implants and before Varryl even took rite of duplesence, both both options are open to you.

Glad you adjusted xp, I was gonna mention you spent too much... Also, please put into your alias like the others, including equipment etc. You can check Varryl profile, can copy and paste much and add spoiler for easy organization. Everything needs to be done by Sunday.


If you have data slate of Mars supplement from DH 1, that has fun stuff to for integrated weapons and power coil upgrades


I had originally intended to take the Dead Station Vigilant alt rank, but as I was working on my history and the chapter background, I flwas concerned it did not fit well. Combined with the realization that Pyros already had the alt rank (and I would be raining on his parade), I decided to pass on it.
