Brother Gaius
Gaius enters overwatch on the door set for full auto ready should something emerge from the Shrine."Little one open the shrine."
Overwatch(Full Auto) set for if something emerges from the shrine at all.

The Odd mechanical cherubim flies to the door and a red light from its cybernetically enhanced eye shines on a Skull embossed into the door where a traditional knocker would be. The chamber hisses as pressure is released and the door slowly opens inward. The door, and walls seem to be 12' thick. You see the Tomb, marvelously preserved. Flowers that a moment ago were vibrant in color quickly decay as the toxic atmosphere fills the chamber.
Brother Gaius
Gaius gives the standard Astartes Battle Sign for a Breaching Formation.
Brother Thedius
"We must make haste lest the relic be corrupted by the atmosphere."
Keeping his bolt pistol up and his chainsword arm ready Thedius enters ahead of everyone else

Brother Thedius
"All clear!" Thedius calls "Be swift brother Techmarine I pray you. I loath to see a sacred artifact damaged"
Thedius expects Leon to inspect the sarcophagus before it is moved to make sure we don't break aqnything. Thedius would be happy to move it swiftly to the Thunderhawk... Perhaps using the Feat of Strength solo mode, if needs be.
Brother Thedius
"Even without him, it would be best if we swiftly move the relic to the Thunderhawk, that it's armour and environmental seal may protect our sacred package" Thedius remains by the sarcophagus until it is ready to be moved.
Hehehe sacred package
... Err... Eremiel/GM what's going on?
Brother Lutha Hallan
Lutha calls out to the thunderhawk pilot over vox as he begins to make his way down from his position at the peak.
"Brother Pilot, why do you abandon your charge so readily?"
As the pilot nears the cliff edge Lutha picks up his pace considerably. The teetering, somewhat curious, of the marine was becoming quite worrisome.

When I put spoilers with a name on them, they are for those individuals only if that helps clear up any misunderstanding of how they work. The bit about the pilot was in a spoiler to Hallan only, as he is the only one able to see it being left to watch the relay station as the rest of you went to take care of the sarcophagus.
Brother Valerio León
Sorry for taking so long to get back to posting, I have been a bit distracted.
Valerio enters the tomb swiftly, and begins to inspect the Sarcophagus in order to determine it's status.
Would this Sarcophagus have a data port I could plug into in order to help inspect it?
Tech-Use=50/60(with data port): 1d100 ⇒ 53
And apparently the existence of a Data Port actually matters...drat.
Brother Lutha Hallan
The tactical marine rushes to the cliff, placing himself within arms reach of the troubled pilot. Without looking he replies, his gaze fixated on the black fog churning below: "I hear nothing pilot. Even if I had, it would not be coming from below, the rest of the squad are at the shrine."

Visage of St. Drussus
As soon as you barley touch the sarcophagus a digital image is on the walls and hymns start to play. Welcome Pilgrims. This is the tomb of the unknown hero. He who gave his life in St. Drussus' name during the Angevine crusade. He serves as a monument to all of the unknown heros that fell in that crusade for the God Emperor... the image continues to recount the deeds of the unknown hero and offer blessings and prayers.
Brother Lutha Hallan
Seeing nothing of immediate concern in the fogs below the cliff, Lutha focuses his attention towards the pilot:
"Control yourself Astartes! Your shouting brings nothing but danger to your brothers!"
Rolling command in the faint hope that a direct order will cause the pilot to regain himself for a moment
Command (47): 1d100 ⇒ 56
After barking his command at the pilot, Lutha voxs the rest of the squad:
"I would advise that we expedite the retrieval of the sarcophagus brothers, I believe the mutants to be close by and an attack will surely follow. Also, if possible I would like the assistance of our Librarian. Our pilot seems to have taken to a fight in his spirit and I am afraid that my abilities are limited merely to matters of flesh and bone."
Brother Thedius
Oh I see. People were reading and reacting out loud to other characters spoilers. Naughty!
Eager to move Thedius is never far from the Sarcophagus.
"Brother León, give me the command and I will take the relic from this place of corruption"
Do we know how much it weighs BTW? SMs can carry a LOT according to the rule book! Thedius is off the chart shown in the book, so chances are he can take it himself and make the best speed
Brother Valerio León
Valerio looks only a moment longer at the Sarcophogas, making certain it is in fine shape to be transported.
I'm not sure the difficulty of this test, but I'm assuming it uses sight, so I added in the +10 from both my helmet and Eye enhancements
Awareness=70: 1d100 ⇒ 98
So I'm blind...I guess 1 Fate Point for a reroll
Awareness=70: 1d100 ⇒ 52
Once he is certain the Sarcophogas is fit to be transported he turns to look towards Brothers Thedius and Tellemachus
"Brothers, it the Sarcophagus seems well enough, we must make haste, however I urge you to be cautious."
He nods and steps through the door to the Shrine, looking towards the Peak. He scans the area for any danger, putting thought into using his Auger Array.
I am assuming this uses my eyes again (mostly) and if I'm within 50m then the Auspex helps me as well.
Awareness=70/90(within 50m): 1d100 ⇒ 51
Brother Lutha Hallan
Sorry Gaius, I know you can't post right now but since we are holding up the other mission I'm going to try and hustle this along
Lutha returns once again to his defensive position, taking note of the tech-marine exiting the shrine with the sarcophagus. When the guardsmen call he responds:
"Begin your descent Colonel, we have secured the relic and as of this moment the landing area is clear."
Brother Gaius
That is fine assume the Vox Message was garbled for him or otherwise not recieved. Assume he was standing in the doorway looking over the sarcophagus staying silent while thinking over the Slaugth.
Once the Sarcophagus is being retrieved and taken to the Plateau Gaius takes up point and has Leon set-up behind them so that he may oversee the Sarcophagus's status. Then accesses his Vox to Hallan."Have you received word from the Pious Immolation? Is the Valkyrie en-route? What was the garbled message?"
Col Folken
Roger that inboundCol Folken replies to Brother Hallan
Brother Leon insures the sarcophagus is in order and Brothers Thedius and Tellemachus lift it and begin to move it. Once the Sarcophagus is moved it becomes apparent there is some sort of door under it. There are strange markings on it.
Roll Cipher Skill-Chapter Runes to decipher it.
Brother Gaius
If I can see them during any of the times and we get time to inspect them.
Ciphers(Chapter Runes)(INT 40): 1d100 ⇒ 23
"Good work brother. We need to get this back as soon as possible."

Brother Gaius
Decipher while you walk.
Brother Tellemachus
Tellemachus as he carefully carries the sarcophagus, notices marking upon the hidden door. He quickly runs them to his mind, as memorized them briefly.
Cipher-Chapter Runes Test: Int 35+3=38: 1d100 ⇒ 43
Tellemachus is slightly puzzled by the markings. He turns to Thedius after they set the Sarcophagus in the Valkyrie
"Brother, did you see those markings? I was unable to read them, perhaps you can?"
Brother Gaius
He should be floating around us. But we are taking it to the Pious Immolation. Perhaps better to open it once we are there so as to not endanger the contents.
Brother Gaius
Ah see my understanding was the door opens the Sarcophagus. Okay yeah I would say that we go and see what is deeper in the shrine. Might be important.
Brother Gaius
Maybe contact the Watch Captain and inform him of the discovery and our intentions of investigating to see if it contains artifacts that might help our efforts?
Brother Thedius
Thedius glances over the markings as he lifts the Sarcophagus
Ciphers (Chapter Runes){Int 45}: 1d100 ⇒ 8
He speaks as he moves.
"Brothers there is a trap door under the sarcophagus with Iron Hands chapter markings on it similar to the ones in the doorway. They seem to imply that it can be opened in the same manner as the entrance."
Clear of the building Thedius continues
"Brother Tellemachus and I can see to the Relic, if you wish to investigate brothers"
If you're feeling kind you could leave 1 more brother with us in case the mutants come back. Whoever has the lowest Int or the least number of lores, perhaps. Loen should defiantly go back in though
