What manner of assistance has been requested? Is there a history of trouble on Hredrin, or with the Astropath station there?

Any ideas for Requisition?

Elyas |

Elyas stops his training as the serf approach, listing in silence, he merely nods to show he has understood and makes his way to the command deck.
Stepping inside he comes to a full stop when his eyes meet the inquisitor. His features changes little, he is more watchful as he listens on in silence.

EDIT: As for req. perhaps an Auspex

Watch Captain Enoch |

You did not miss it, good questions.
"As far as hostiles, Hredrin is a very populated Hive World and the Hive gangs are causing an uprising. As mentioned in our first meeting, all around the Calixis sector this is happening at an alarming rate. It is believed the Tyrant Star is the cause of the increase, or at the very least the fervor behind those that believe in its existence. He looks at the Lord Inquisitor, I can not disclose at this time, what manner of assistance was requested, but rest assured it is a worthy mission.
Lord Inquisitor Gathrix adds The Gaolist Astropaths have...older techniques. We are going to upgrade their systems that is all you need to know. Sister Vesta smiles cruelly.

Brother Lucian Vartas |

I mean no disrespect my lords, but I am not entirely comfortable not knowing the full parameters of the mission. I do, however, understand the need for compartmentalisation, and rest assured I will do my duty.
The Codex Astartes recommends that the most efficient way of protecting an individual of importance is to have a lead scout ahead of the main party, the squad leader directly with the principal, and two two-man teams, one ahead and one behind the principal. This provides maximum coverage, and allows free fields of fire in the event that the squad comes under attack.
An auspex is a good idea. I wonder whether a Locus Seeker might be useful. We could have the Inquisitor carry the caller, and then we would be able to track him in the event that we became separated. It's half out Requisition, but it might save our butts.

Brother Lucian Vartas |

Good call on the auspex, seems a bit redundant to have two. How about a Vox-caster (10 Req) to stay in contact with the Pious Immolation?
Hallan, we have 60 Req, which gives us 10 each, so you have 5 left after your chainsword.
I'm happy to lead if there are no other volunteers, but I don't want to rob others of the opportunity. I considered nominating Brother Tellemachus, as this mission may have a significant psyker component, and he is the only one of us with experience in that field.

Brother Lucian Vartas |

Sounds like the Unforgiven talking! I thought about offering him extra protection, but I suspect that as a senior Inquisitor he's likely to be pretty tooled up already. Could always ask though.
Lucian turns to the Lord Inquisitor. If I may ask my lord, what manner of personal protections do you have? If we are to guard you, it would be beneficial to be aware of what quality of armour you might be wearing, so that we might serve you most effectively.

Lord Inquisitor Gathrix |

"That is understandable Master Astartes. I will be wearing my Ignatus-Pattern Power Armour, and I always have this will me He unhooks his Hellax-Infernus pistol from his belt. Oh, and I did not hear the good Watch Captain mention my retinue will be accompanying me. Four of my most trusted Throne Agents will be with me at all times, but they are very capable I assure you. The Lord Inquisitor smiles. Sister Vesta storms out of the command deck.

Brother Tellemachus |

Tellemachus walks into the command deck looking distressed. He quietly listens to the briefing, his mind swarming with energy.
"Hello, Brothers. Watch-Captain. Sister.."
Tellemachus bows respectfully to his superiors and comrades. He looks at the inquisitor and studies him for a moment. His face hidden by a hood, betraying no emotion.
"Inquistor,I take it?"
Tellemachus offers a greeting then thinks over the briefing
"Hm. The details seem to be very vague, however straightforward. I will not question His Will. Only be a tool of it."

Lord Inquisitor Gathrix |

Yes, there is room for you Brother Tellemachus, and Yes, Col. Folken is on Deck still, though no longer talking with Sister Vesta who abruptly left.
On Mission So Far
Brother Hallan
Brother Leon
Brother Elyas
Brother Vartas
Brother Tellemachus
Room for one more
Primary Mission Ensure the Lord Inquisitor's safety on Hredrin
Requisition 60 for team
Oath None yet
Leader Possibly Brother Vartas?
"You probably have not met all of them yet. We have 24 hours until we will arrive at Hredrin. Perhaps we can all sit down for some refreshments at my quarters later?"

Brother Tellemachus |

"I would be honored, esteemed inquisitior"
Tellemachus nods his head slightly, his eyes flickering from beneath his hood
Um, for Oath. I suggest Oath of Glory again. It seems we are fighting gangsters much like mutants they aren't hard to put down. Btw @GM what is our current renown?

Brother Lutha Hallan |
GM, if I recall correctly you said we could spend fate points to change the game slightly? I'd like to do that now.
Spending 1 Fate Point
Just before the end of the briefing, Col. Folken quietly takes his leave of the command deck (possibly to see to the preparation of his soldiers personally).
---
The entirety of the briefing left a bitter taste in the back of Luthas throat, and though it made him feel slightly uneasy, he resolved to at the very least discover as much as he could about the possible threats of Hredrin, for the sake of his brothers. Maybe he could speak to the Guard commander, his words during the Grangold briefing suggested he wasn't exactly a dog on a leash.
Seeing that Col. Folken had left the command deck, Lutha was confident he could speak with the Guardsmen without the prying eyes of the Inquisitor finding him. He left towards the armory and deployment decks, perhaps he could locate him there?
Also DM, I'll take him up on that refreshment suggestion later

Lord Inquisitor Gathrix |

Feel free to post anything you would like to do prior to meeting the Lord Inquisitor for refreshments. I am going to set up that scene now to save time.
Serfs and servitors greet you as you enter the Lord Inquisitor's chamber on the Pious Immolation. It is a grand hall, and a very large banquet table sits in the center of the room. The Lord walks towards you wearing an even more elaborate suit than before. Welcome Holy Astartes! He smiles as he approaches. Allow me to introduce my comrades.

Lord Inquisitor Gathrix |

Please sit. I have some ale gifted me from Fenris for such an occasion. The Lord waits to sit until you have, and his retinue sit after he does.
Sister Vesta seems to be attempting to hide contempt for the Lord Inquisitor.
Jyson Rixx seems fascinated with you and is muttering prayers at the table.
Father Zyas offers a prayer of thanksgiving "May this table, already being blessed by the presence of the glorious holy warriors, chosen Astartes of the God Emperor, continue to receive the light and warm embrace of the divine light of Terra, Amen!
Zelra Aleene remains quiet as she eats. She seems to be looking from Sister Vesta to the Lord Inquisitor a lot.
Manarc seems very alert, but quiet and respectful.

Brother Thedius |

I'm happy to act as lead scout. Perhaps we can requisition something to help me in that regard. Camo-cloak? I would suggest a defensive Oath, as this is a defensive mission
Brother Thedius regards the ale with scorn.
"Excuse me Lord Inquisitor but I cannot see a reason to imbibe a liquid that may weaken me" Uneasy with the situation in the inquisitor's quarters, Thedius eyes Zelra Aleene and awaits a moment when he can get her alone and ask her what is happening.

Brother Lucian Vartas |

Lucian is disquieted by the presence of the Navigator. Although the Navis mutation is essential for the continuing existence of the Imperium, being this close to such a powerful mutant is an uncomfortable experience.
He partakes of the the Fenrisian ale offered by the Lord Inquisitor, knowing that it would not be politic to refuse such a significant offer, and that his genhanced physiology would deal with the extraordinary levels of alcohol in a relatively short period of time.
He leans closer to Jyson Rixx. Special use of FP to adjust circumstances to my advantage. He seems to be increasingly inebriated by the nightmarishly strong Fenrisian Ale.
Comrade Rixx, clearly you are favoured by the Inquisitor, and you look to be a capable Throne Agent. I hear that you are to deploy to Hredrin with us. The Emperor expects that we all perform our duties to the best of our abilities. To that end, has the Inquisitor given you any further information about the nature of our mission?
I'm trying to leverage Rixx's drunkness and his obvious awe at working with the Astartes, to get him to spill any more details about the mission that might be being kept within the Inquisition.

Elyas |

Displeased with the situation Elyas takes a seat when offered and tastes the brew of the rival chapter. Letting his enhanced metabolism cleanse his system the Dark Angel leaves the major part of the glass untouched. "A kind gift, Inquisitor," he remarks. Taking time to study not only the inquisitor and his retinue but also his new brothers, many of whom he knows nothing about.

Brother Lutha Hallan |
"Grangold, yes. I take it your men performed their duties unscathed? It would be a shame to lose anymore to the planets corruption."
"In any event...have you had any contact with Hredrins local PDF? It seems unlikely that the Astartes would be called in to sort out mere rabble."
Only a fool would describe the dinner as anything less than tense. Though it would seem that the Inquisitor had gone through the necessary steps to procure proper seating for the marines, they still seemed as if they were giants in the room.
Lutha had been seated across from Sister Vesta as a manner of circumstance. As conversation picked up at the other end of the table he did his best to retain a casual respect for the situation. Most of his brothers remained openly displeased, while Lucian had taken to a sidebar with another of the Throne Agents. Instead Lutha steered his end of the table elsewhere for conversation.
"So sister, if you would be so kind as to indulge me, what is the Calixis sector like? I ask only because I am rather new to this region, having been stationed elsewhere until rather recently, and up to this point I've only had time to go over the most pertinent tactical data."

Brother Valerio León |

Valerio ends up seated near the end of the table, across from Father Zyas, with Lutha on his right. After he sits he takes a drink of his ale, letting the taste settle across his palette, he then looks towards the Lord Inquisitor and says,"Thank kindly for the refreshment, Lord Inquisitor, it is a truly fantastic ale." Valerio bows his head slightly to show his appreciation before turning back to Father Zyas, who's presence has confused him.
"Holy Father, if I may be so forward, but how is it that a holy man such as yourself comes to be an Agent of a Lord Inquisitor?" Valerio keeps his tone light, with a ghost of a smile at the corners of his lips.

Brother Thedius |

Thedius, is puzzled about the Crimson Fist's willingness to drink the ale. Has his chapter slid so far from the teachings of Dorn to allow themselves weakness. The assault marine decided to challenge his brother in the training cages at his earliest convenience, to help cleanse his body of the poison. He could only hope to do this before the mission.

Jyson Rixx |

To be clear, Jyson Rixx is not inebriated, the Fenrisian Ale is only for you, it would probably kill the Throne Agents if they attempted to drink it. Jyson Rixx is part of an extremely zealous cult and it is apparent he has never seen an Astartes before and revers you almost like walking saints.
Welcome back Brother Thedius! I was tracking your wedding so no sweat. You got 600 xp from last mission and 7 renown. There is room for you, now we have 6!

Sister Vesta |

The Sister's face softens as she responds to Brother Lutha Hallan
The Calixis sector is home to many good and holy people Master Astartes. Recently events like those on Hredrin are not uncommon unfortunately. I hope you bring the Emperor's judgement to all of those heretics on that den of iniquity.

Father Zyas |

Praise be Master Astartes. I have worked as an exorcist in his holy crusade since I can remember. Once I had proven myself capable enough, the Inquisition sought me out.
The Lord Inquisitor adds Father Zyas is very modest. It was hard to pry him from his congregation, but his ability as an exorcist is truly the gift of the God Emperor himself. Ordo Malleus has tried to steel him from me on more than one occasion. In fact I sometimes wonder if having him here was motivation for Ol'Ahmazzi to join us.

Brother Lutha Hallan |
"The blind leading the blind eh?" Lutha mutters to himself. [b]"Well if that's the case then I wish you the best of luck in your deployment Colonel, may the Emperor protect you and your men."
"Ah, it is unnecessary to be so formal sister. Given the nature of the enemy, I imagine we will be working in tandem quite often. You may refer to by name if you so wish. As for Hredrin: I can only hope that this minor detour will not distract us too long from our task, that being relocating the relic and hopefully restoring some of the sanctity of this sector."

Brother Lucian Vartas |

Lucian looks around and sees some of his new brothers conversing with a few of the Inquisitor's Throne Agents. I hope that Hallan and Leon are being circumspect with their questioning, we do not want to risk the ire of a Lord Inquisitor of the Ordo Hereticus if he feels that we are overstepping our bounds.
He also notes that Elyas, Thedius and Tellemachus are remaining silent, and have not partaken of much of the Fenrisian Ale. I do not know enough about some of my brothers to make a judgement of their characters, but I would at least expect them to remain civil with the Inquisitor and his retinue.

Manarc |

Manarc remains quiet. He wears a skin-tight suit, but there are patches and pins of combat as well as purity seals and insignia of the Inquisition that are clearly visible now that you are sitting across from him.
