I have heard some good things about the adventure paths for PF2 and I'd be happy to give any of them a go if someone has room.
I'm flexible as far as playstyle, tone, and characters go as long as it's not horrible or toxic in a way the group didn't consent to.
If you have existing players/characters locked in then just let me know if you or they need something specific to round out the party and I'll whip something up pronto.
Theater of the mind over voice chat, and virtual tabletop both work for me (just let me know in advance so I can acquire it if necessary and do initial setup without delaying a session). I've never really gelled well with play-by-post, unfortunately.
Time zone is EST (Eastern US), and ideal hours are Sunday and Monday afternoon to late-night. I can do other days, but only if it's late night (latest workday ends about midnight).

I've had a character I wanted to try for Age of Ashes ever since I read the player's guide for it. Half-Orc wizard inspired by Alexander Hamilton. 2nd gen half-orc (He thinks. His mother was a half-orc prostitute and he never met his father). He had a good head for numbers and puzzles as a child, and even though he was born a nobody, he picked up wizardry where he could - he idolizes Lamond Breachton and dreams of following in his footsteps and using his magic for the advancement and betterment of civilization. He's young, scrappy, and hungry, and he's not throwing away his shot.
Living in US Eastern Time Zone (UTC-5). Just got my teaching license so I'm not working this month, but come August, It'll probably be tough for me to go later than 9:30 or 10pm unless it's on a Friday or Saturday.

Kuroko, if you want in games quickly, your best bet is to make a pathfinder society character and apply here:
https://paizo.com/campaigns/TheFlaxseedPathfinderLodgeExploreReportCooperat e/recruiting
I'm in a couple of games from that recruitment page. pfs has some different rules you will need to read in their guide first, however.
Martinaj, what a fun time to get your teaching license! Some kids learning remotely from home, some at school, trying to keep social distancing enforced, maybe teaching with a mask to masked kids...WELCOME!

Myself and 3 other players are partway through book 1 of Rise of the Runelords. Our GM has been AWOL for about a month. We are level 2, exploring the dungeon, and would like to continue with a new GM. Whether someone wants to come on board for just book 1 and see how it goes from there, or finish out the whole thing.
Our characters are fairly vanilla; slayer, paladin, oracle, and rogue/wizard, built with 4d6 for ability scores, no feat taxes, and background skills.
Any takers?

Hi! New here. I'm looking for a couple more players for a play-by-e-mail game, Pathfinder 1E rules (with house rules), in an adpated Forgotten Realms campaign world (originally AD&D, started 30 years ago). I have a casual but dedicated group of 3 PCs, level 6, with about 3 e-mails a week from the DM. We value cooperation, maturity, and friendship. All males, if that matters to you.
Message me if interested, and I can provide a sample of the current party (from a couple years ago) and answer any questions. Sorry if this is wrong place for this post.

I unfortunately missed the recruitment for Age of Ashes, but if anyone else is looking for another player or planning to GM that campaign, I would be very interested in playing that.
I would be interested in Age of Ashes as well! I am tentatively open to the other PF2 adventure paths, but the character I have ready to go is best suited for Age of Ashes.

Looking to join anything PF2, open to play whatever your party needs! I just want to play something. PbP is going to be my speed right now, since in-person games are out of the question, and live games online are just not happening with little kids who want to interrupt mommy constantly any time she tries to play something.

I'm a seasoned RPGer and also played extensively on-line. I played the original Pathfinder for many years - but recently focused on HP and SW on-line storytelling.
I'm back as I can't wait to play Starfinder - and 2.0 too. I can turn my hand to any adventure path or home-brew - and can turn around a character in next to no time :)

Hi guys,
I'd like to advertise my homebrew Starfinder recruitment, open for the first call of PCs until September 19th.
It takes place in a homebrew sci-fi world I've been working on for quite some time. Essentially, humans have moved into space and now their home planet is a mountainous and oceanic planet called Nordic Frog Beach. Wealth is easy to come by, and knowledge is prized, so people basically just learn whatever they can and do what they want.
We will start on a desert planet called Tandoori. Characters are graduate students working on their doctoral thesis, studying the native life or human science or an ancient alien terraformer. A mysterious string of murders begin that draw the PCs into a group together.
After that, I expect there to be exploration. Many worlds are connected by what are essentially Stargates. Players will travel to a new world, explore it, fight threats, make discoveries, and then take things home to analyze and invent new equipment with.

Hello! I would like to play any of the AP for Starfinder, but I'd love to play Dawn of Flame or Attack of the Swarm!
I never played Starfinder before but I already read every book that contains any lore because I love that stuff.
I've been playing D&D exclusively for the past 20 years and I'm kinda bored of fantasy setting and Starfinder really picked my interest.
My character is Soraya, a Korasha Lashunta Solarian that's currently a Deputy Constable of the Stewards. Her mission is to get up close to adventurers and learn from their MO and also report back any unlawful activities that'd threaten the Pact, while adventuring, back to Bastion.

Hi everyone! I'm currently looking for a pbp game, any setting and system is fine but I would prefer Starfinder as it currently has most of my attention. I'm comfortable filling any party role and have characters running around my head for pretty much any situation.
I will add though that I have a streetwise-lying-cheating Technomancer that I've been working on for a long while now, so if you have room for an arcane trickster in your game I'm especially interested.

I to would be interested in dabbling into starfinder. I have a few characters and tried some games but didn't get very far.

Helping the GM out by posting here. Rise of the Runelords, Fantasy Ground Unity. Just need Demo version.
Info:
About Me: My name is Danny and I am the one who developed Rise of the Runelords, Curse of the Crimson Throne, and dozens of other adventures officially for Fantasy Grounds. I have recently decided to run this game for some friends and after putting a lot of extra work into it, I decided I would see if anyone else would be interested in playing in it.
FG License: GM has Ultimate license. Players need only the free demo version to play
Classic or Unity: This game will be played in FG Unity
Game System: Pathfinder 1e
Time Zone: Pacific time
Day of week and time: Friday evenings from 4 pm to 8 pm Pacific time.
Planned start date: Session 1 on 10/30/2020.
Planned Duration & Frequency: 4 hour sessions, once a week
Term: Long-term. Full campaign with option to play other adventures I developed for Fantasy Grounds after completion of this adventure
Text or Voice: Voice
Voice software used: Discord
Ambiance software used: Syrinscape online. I have subscription and you can use for free.
Will this be recorded and/or live streamed? No, I wasn't planning on streaming the game but if the entire group wanted me to, I can be flexible. If this ends up being the case, all players will need video.
Roleplay & Combat mix: Hard to say. Pathfinder can be combat heavy but I try to add roleplaying elements and encourage players to roleplay as much as they want to to make the game most fun. I would anticipate a 50/50 mix if the group are all good roleplayers.
Number of Players needed: I am looking for a solid group of 4-5 players.
Character starting level & equipment: 1st level character with average wealth from reference for class.
Pathfinder books used: I have the following Pathfinder books in Fantasy Grounds and allow them in game: Pathfinder Core Rulebook, Advanced Player's Guide, Advanced Class Guide, Ultimate Combat, Ultimate Equipment, Ultimate Magic.
Character restrictions: I do not allow the following classes, due to setting and preference: Gunslinger, Ninja, Samurai, Summoner.

Hi there, looking for any 1e oneshots or campaigns, homebrew or adventure path. I have about 20 premade characters ready to go, every possible role from casters to faces to tanks, all can be taken anywhere from 1-20. I'm US based EST available most weekday nights and saturday evenings. I have discord and roll20 set to go. Also happy to try out play by posting, never done it before but I'm definitely open to the concept

Recently my brother and I applied for a game on another forum and our PCs weren't selected. The AP was War for the Crown and the two PCs were twin sisters. We are flexible on details and can do some rebuilding if needed, but the game was advertised as Gestalt with lots of intrigue.
Thanks and Merry Christmas!

Not sure how many people check this thread, but here goes.
The last Adventure Path I ran (Skull & Shackles, IRL), I wound up really envying my players their opportunity to play it. I've decided to run Serpent's Skull next, but it seems like a lot of fun and I hope to not repeat that "mistake." So I'd really like it if someone would run Serpent's Skull for me. I won't be running it for a long time yet so I'm not concerned with how long it would take.

Hey, ST...I wish I could help you out. As one of the authors for that AP (the last chapter), I've often wished I could run it as a play-by-post, but I truly don't have the time to do it justice. I'm playing in a couple of games online, but running something takes a lot more effort to keep it going...and I'd hate to start something only to have it fall apart and disappoint everyone. That said, if someone does agree to run it, I might be willing to play alongside you (keeping player knowledge separate from character knowledge, of course).

I'm looking to join a PbP game on these forums or Discord. I have Level 1 characters from previous PbP games that I can adjust as needed to fit a campaign. Either edition of Pathfinder is fine, or D&D5e.
My work schedule allows me to post even during work hours, so posting at least a few times per day won't be a problem.

Chech out the Flaxseed lodge!
Recruitment and there is con starting soon which surely has room for a level 1 player.

Thanks for the tip. I found a campaign I'm interested in on the Outpost IV Google sheet, but I'm not sure about the etiquette for signing up so I'll have to look through the thread a bit to see how to proceed.
