Apologies for the delay. I've been keeping up with my games as a player, but I’ve been struggling to find the energy to update the ones I’m running. I appreciate your patience.
As for Rybar and Zepth, I will say that they are swimming with their heads just above the surface of the water. I am not sure if they need to do the Swim action to stay floating in place. I only know they can Swim to move.
Olegaro moves toward Yellow and with his sword, leaves Yellow dead in the spiky trees. You have an action left, which I will direct to the one with the least HP, Sharky. The same goes for Sharky, when he thrusts his blade at the shark. [/ooc] Yellow Salty and Red Sharky out[/ooc]
Otani zaps the remaining shark, Briny.
Briny: DC 18 basic Reflex save: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29 vs EA Crit Success

The shark then tries to secure his bite against the fighter.
Athletics to Grab: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26 vs Olegaro's Fortitude DC 19
The shark successfully secures a hold on his leg and dives straight down with the fighter to around 50 ft! Deep Plunge [one-action] The brine shark dives straight down into the water, moving up to twice its swim Speed in a straight vertical line. It can use this ability while grabbing a creature.

Olegaro's eye widen as he is dragged down into the water. Holding his breath as he holds back his panic, he thinks to himself I have a bit of time, let's prioritise and get this thing back up to the surface.
First he staunches the worst of his wounds, then prizes the jaws of the shark apart to escape. So far so good, but the actual swimming is unfamiliar and his unaccustomed attempt to get back to the surface is pretty rough. Since the water is calm, I will count Olegaro's Swim as Crit Success, allowing him to Swim for 20 ft, instead of 10 ft. That makes him 30 ft underwater. The same goes for Zepth and Rybar.
Also, after re-reading the scenario text, it says that a shark that is underwater automatically becomes invisible to any creature that isn’t underwater. Therefore, anyone needs to be underwater too to see the shark as long as it is underwater. Let's do that from now on.

"Friends, fellow agents, as you are all aware by now, Taiwalei has now joined the ranks of our excellent venture-captains, in recognition for all he has done in helping us recruit talent from all corners of Golarion. Many would not be here if not for your enthusiasm or charity. You, Taiwalei, have been a compass to many, and we hope to see that passion continue. It is with pride and pleasure, therefore, that I present you with this opportunity: an assignment for as long as you wish at the Woodsedge Lodge, where you will be working on an effort to map out the Maze of the Open Road.”
As Taiwalei jumps in excitement and accepts a token pin bearing the Woodsedge Lodge’s coat of arms, the room erupts into applause. Many shout their congratulations for the venture-captain. A few of the faction leaders look a little less enthusiastic with concern in their eyes but clap sincerely. It’s clear that they are ready to support Taiwalei in his work ahead. Besides, any doubts and reservations they had are quickly swept aside as Taiwalei approaches each of them with drinks and questions on if they have any advice going forward.
The rest of the evening goes swimmingly, full of music, performances, dances, and games. At some point during the party, Fola approaches the party to inquire how the tour went. She expresses delight upon learning that the Pathfinders made new friends. It’s uncertain what befriending the duo might bring, but Fola is optimistic.
Taiwalei also finds time to sit down with them and thank them for the eventful tour. He eagerly invites them to come help out any time on exploring the maze further. He also asks, “So, have any of you worked with Janira Gavix or Rain in Cloudy Day before? What are they like?”

Moists congratulates Taiwalei, toasting to him
May your missions never be dry!
Then, to his query about their shared Pathfinder colleagues
Oh! We've worked with Rain before. Very inquisitive and curious leshy. I think you'll enjoy collaborating with him. I've never had the pleasure of working with Janira, though.

Otani enjoys the spectacle with enthusiasm. The pathfinder positively polishes the floor, while dancing ceaselessly across the marble floors.
As the Tengu's tango trollops by Taiwalei, he whispers as he passes by
I've heard tales of Janira and a Minotaur....

S06-01 Intro to the Year of Immortal Influence
The adventure begins as the Pathfinders prepare for a fundraising dinner at the Lastwall Embassy, established in the Precipice Quarter by Watcher-Lord Ulthun II (male human paladin).
A letter from Csilla that comes with a ticket for each Pathfinder, and invitations for an “Evening Fundraiser for the Knights of Lastwall, as presented by Lady Hesla Embersplitter and Ulthun II.”
Pathfinders,
Thank you for serving in my stead at Ulthun II’s fundraiser for the Knights of Lastwall at Vigil’s Hope. The Pathfinder Society has already made its donation to his cause through the purchase of the tickets for this dinner. You may make additional financial contributions if you so desire, but do not feel pressured to do so.
From my understanding, other members of Absalom’s “upper crust” are in attendance as well, though the contingency seems to be heirs from well-established houses and the primary members of houses attempting to rise in status. Please attend and build a warm relationship with these representatives. My experience is that individuals only become more important over time, so treat everyone with respect.
On a final note—at least one member of the Peacebuilders will attend. This organization has been critical of the Pathfinder Society, on both valid and invalid grounds. I recommend you avoid interacting with them. Don’t escalate any conflicts, even if they attempt to antagonize you. You don’t have to answer for every agent’s misbehavior and many of their larger concerns are best addressed by the Decemvirate and venture-captain leadership.
I hope you enjoy your evening! Please write back with any dietary restrictions or other accommodations needed to attend, so I may communicate them to Ulthun II and Lady Hesla Embersplitter in advance.
Yours, Csilla
Vigil’s Hope is a well-known landmark in the Precipice Quarter, so the Pathfinders can easily travel to it by foot or by borrowing a carriage from the Grand Lodge.

Hanu walks up to Otani, pinches his arm "Skinnier, you look."
He reads the note "To dinner we are invited" and does a cartwheel in anticipation.
Lacking much in the way of formal wear, and even more in caring whatsoever about such fabrics, our curious hero just shrugs, and walks in with his friends.

Zepth looks at everyone expectantly as he shows his recently cleaned clothes.
"Perfect for a fundraiser, don't you think? I'm sure they'll appreciate some song and dance to go with the feast. I just hope we don't encounter any o those fearmongers in there."

Moist lacks formal wear too, but likely for very different reasons than Hanu. It doesn't hold up well under persistent moisture. That aside, he does affix a styling bowtie to his neck.
I wonder if I can sneak into the kitchen and suggest some dishes!
