Rybar Ganon comes from a family of gypsy-nomads who roam Golarion. While the family truly never settles down, they are always home. The family travels with an entire caravan, which traverses the country from coast to coast - visiting different points of interest, which sometimes includes shrines, places of power, natural phenomena or simply beautiful scenery.

Rybar decided to leave the caravan as he was spurned by a young maiden whom he'd caught interest in. Distraught, he went aimlessly and eventually found his way to Absalom. It was there that he met several Pathfinders (trying to get drunk at a local tavern, in celebration of their acceptance as members to the Society). He took an interest in the Pathfinders and joined.
