**HOUSE GM ANNOUNCEMENT**

The crackle of flame and cries of pain echo down the street as panicked townsfolk flee from invaders. A swarm of small, winged fiends dangle a man in fine clothing by his ankle above a horse trough. Four horses, still harnessed to the remnants of a smashed carriage, careen by, their eyes wild with fear. With a loud crack, a water tower atop a nearby building collapses and falls, the torrent of water overturning carts and sweeping fleeing elves from their feet.

“Pathfinders!” Fola Barun calls out, quickly gathering all the agents at hand. “The defenses have fallen, and the people of Folien need our help! Spread out and do what you can to drive off these fiends. Try to find out what they’re after and put a stop to that too, if you can. Whatever it is, it can’t be good!”

”Your hard work trying to keep Nathatel and his forces out of the town is not without benefit, though, as Nathatel’s servants are finding the going harder than they would like”.

Table GMs, Defense Events 1-4 are now available and the Know Your Enemy condition (carried over from Part 2) is now in effect.

**HOUSE GM ANNOUNCEMENT**

As the sun rises over the camp, the din of Pathfinders getting ready to start another day and the smell of a warm breakfast fills the air. As everyone is starting to eat their breakfast, Eando, Ciobanu, and Fola stand before the group. “As we head out today, we should continue to look for signs of an upcoming assault. With the information you’ve gathered, it’s clear that the one named Nathatel is readying an attack on the town, though we’re still somewhat unsure why.”

As Eando speaks to the group, one of the night scouts approaches Fola, whispering something in her ear. Looking alarmed, she quickly interrupts Eando. “Pathfinders, it’s worse than we feared! Nathatel’s forces are to be attempting to attack from the west. Go, now, stop them before they can breach the town!”

Table GMs, please begin Part 3, beginning in Area E.

Eando’s voice rings out, calling everyone back. “Pathfinders, the light is quickly fading. Return to camp and rest, we will continue reconnaissance tomorrow.”

Late Start PBP Games

As mentioned earlier, we are accepting late start Play by Post games for a limited time.

The deadline for submitting new PBP games is 14 July 2026 @ midday ET.

GMs should only start a late game if they are pretty confident they can finish before convention end. As we get closer to that deadline we'll encourage GMs to stick to shorter scenarios/quests to maximize the chances of finishing on time.

To add a late game please submit a new scenario request via the >Bridging the Gap GM Signup form< and then post a message to #hq-help on the Bridging the Gap Discord to alert us to the new request. If you already have the gamemaster role there's no need to submit a new GM details form though - just jump to the scenario forms by system.

We made it! It has been great to travel this journey with you all and see all the characters develop. And I'll echo that this has been a wonderful table to be at.

Thanks to everyone for the many fun interactions and especially to GM Frost for running this series!

Hope to catch up with you all again at a table in the not too distant future.

Details are all good for Olegaro. Thank-you for the game!

Yes that's very sad news - I'll miss him. And totally agree PaleDim - it was great to have shared this and other tables with him.

Stay safe and good luck!

I have not received a chronicle but can confirm it has been reported for me.

Thanks Rainzax. If I can help at all with the chronicles or reporting please let me know.

I would like to offer Eliadyr, my demon hunting Elven starlit span magus 7 for this series. As of Saturday he will be 80 xp (7.2) so would be perfectly placed to play all three scenarios.

This would be my first time through these scenarios. I've seen the ripples of these through later scenarios so am keen to experience the story!

I've had the good fortune to be selected in a group run before (GM Frost's 1-5 escapades) and found it adds to the story immensely to have the same characters with shared experiences. I'm a consistent daily poster.

No problems - I changed over characters yesterday.

Hope you are feeling a bit better GM Tiger.

I was going to play Eliadyr in a game on Saturday (Friday night US). Do you think it is likely we'll get chronicles by then? If not I'll change character.

So our mission now is to keep Henri alive so as to avoid interrupting the timeline right? :)

Thanks for a fun game GM Super Zero! This is rapidly becoming my favourite quest.

I had to PM Redelia to get access to the event

That doesn't sounds good Lysle, hope you are doing ok and that they are able to sort it all out.

Our first bounty together is concluded. I will get a link to the chronicle sheets up sometime Monday (I am on the US East Coast).

Thanks for the bounty and the GM thoughts along the way. Lots of interesting things to think over there.

Redelia wrote:
Students should not be using RPGchronicles for GM school. You should collect reporting info in the discussion thread and then fill out the chronicle sheets by hand.

Ah ok, I'll remove that then.

I often run with a second slides deck with the NPC art, maps etc ready that I copy over. I'm still not sure if that is worth the extra effort over having just the one deck and trusting people not to reveal in advance.

OK, looks like all student campaigns are created. Nice job.

Assignment #8: Maps

The next assignment is the final preparation one: Create your map deck in google slides and link it in your campaign.

RPG Chronicles, slides and macros are up for my Bounty 3 campaign - this will be where my influences are pretty obvious as I have borrowed stuff from GM Tiger, GM Frost and GM Watery Soup in preparing my own documents. :)

Lem will comment "Anyone else see that large purple mushroom up ahead?" while pointing it out to the group and looking confused as to why noone else sees it.

I'll get a character set up for Lem shortly

I've created my Bounty 3 campaign for the GM school.

Feel free to dot in and delete but I assume there is no rush right now.

Best exploration mode for Lem is probably Search if Scout is already covered.

and I'm happy to run Lem but equally happy for someone else to.

Just noting that I have read through the bounty I'll be running.

Brenael is your Sewer Dragon table full?

On paper yes, but one person hasn't checked in yet, so a spot may open up. I'll PM you.

I'm focussing on my prep for my Outpost game this weekend so it will be a bit until I can get to prepping the bounty. I have run it before though, but on VTT.

I'll volunteer to run Bounty #3: Shadows and Scarecrows

I'm interested in the PBP GM School! Will there be some kind of sign-up sheet posted here later, or is there somewhere I can go for more info now? Thank you!

Here's the announcement thread which includes a link to the sign-up form.

Welcome to the game!

Before we begin, please fill out the macros, slides and signup sheet linked at the top of the page. On the slides please add your token and work out the matching order. Please also dot in to the gameplay page with the character you will be playing.

If you have GM glyphs to share, please post who you are giving them to here.

We’ll use this forum for general discussion about the game.

A bit of housekeeping:
* Please post once per weekday and once on weekends. Real life takes priority of course, but let us know if you'll be unable to post for a bit if you can. In combat, I'll generally delay a character if they haven't posted for 24 hours while it is their turn. However, if you have botting instructions on your character and are happy for me or another player to bot them, please post below.
* As per the Pathfinder Society Community Standards, each player must decide if they will allow their characters to be damaged by friendly fire (usually via splash damage). While accidental friendly fire happens due to missed attack rolls or other factors, players must obtain the consent of other players before deliberately including fellow PCs in damaging effects. This rule does not apply in situations where a character is not acting of their own free will, such as if they’re being mind-controlled by an NPC and forced to attack a fellow Pathfinder.

Thanks for joining and I hope we’ll all have a fun game!

I'm planning to take the plunge and start GMing here in a few weeks. I've enjoyed the games I have played so far (thanks to some great GMs and fellow players) and would like to contribute back. I'll start with Q15: In the Footsteps of Horror and be running the low tier.

Looking back I've seen a few other people have started with an experienced GM playing at the table and mentoring them. Would anyone be interested in doing that?

Thank you for asking! I can think of several of our experienced GMs who would be happy to do this. Make sure you include a request for this in your recruitment post, along with some way for interested mentors to identify themselves. If you don't have any takes (and I would find that extremely unlikely), then DM me and I would be happy to join in.

Save me a seat please. I can help you out.

Thanks GM Tiger, will do.

@Brenael- I would post your recruitment in the recruitment tab. This way more eyes will get on it and you post won't get buried in the discussion.

Thanks, yes I'll do that in a bit over a week once I have things set up. But yes but it does look like it will be buried pretty quickly here :)

Lemme know if I missed / misrepresented you / your character, and/or if you have a link!

Here are my two possibilities.

I'm interested also. I have a flail and board fighter that I'd like to try out. I'm still new to PF2 and PFS (3 games played) so these games are all new to me, although I have signed up for S04-01 in Gameday XII.

Thanks for the clarification - that's good to know!

Hi GM Watery Soup,

If there is still a seat left I'd be interested in joining in!

I note your boundaries and will be happy to play by society rules and norms. I'd like to play for PFS credit.

I haven't played PF2 before, but have done many years of playing and GMing PF1. I have run home games using PFS1 rules so am familiar with the general concept.

This would also be my first PbP so I'll be open to advice on that front.

I should be able to post daily but I am in Australia so time zones will be a bit weird :)

Hi,

We were considering sharing the GMing load for the Kingmaker series between a few of us. Does anyone have a feel for whether this would work?

Options we are tossing about are each GM doing an instalment or two, or maybe (given the sandbox approach) a region?

Cheers,
James.
