Diaz Ex Machina |

I'm working on my character. As soon as it is ready I'll post it.
Since the cleric and oracle options have already been taken, I'll probably roll a bard or a sorcerer.
EDIT: By the way, wasn't the Scarab Sages faction retired in the previous season? Asking because I wanted to roll a character affiliated to them, but will probably change this decision.

Sure Sunny16, join up. Make a character and put it on an avatar. If you need help just ask.

You can use this boon for your first Pathfinder Society character (XXXXX-001). It gives you a minor leg up.
I am trying to find it so I can link it.

Ah dang! My first PFS character is a Core character I made by mistake years ago. I guess I'll have to use that boon with him.
Or is there a way to change my unused character from Core to Standars PFS? Maybe asking the Support?

GM Ietsuna |

I believe if you play a core character at a standard table it just becomes standard. Give me some time and I'll consult the Roleplay Guild Guide.
No Mixing Campaigns: A session must accommodate only Core PCs or Standard PCs; characters from different campaign modes should not be part of the same adventure. The exception is that a Core PC can play at a Standard Campaign event, but the PC irrevocably becomes part of to the Standard Campaign, can no longer participate in Core Campaign events, and can now select any character options permitted in the Standard campaign.
But think carefully about what you want to do.

Thank you for your help GM. I read somewhere that I could "evolve" my character from Core to PFS using that method, but the problem is that I wouldn't be able to build that character using all the options at my disposal. I could only use options outside the Core after the "transformation".
I am creating a thread in the PFS forum, to see if someone can help me with this problem. Maybe a kind Venture Captain can convert that character slot.

What level is the character Diaz? You can change any aspect of a character until it plays at level 2, so if it is level 1 just rebuild it to whatever you like.

Since this would be my first PFS game ever, all my characters are level 1. So, I could play with a Core character this adventure and then rebuild him from scratch for the next one, until I hit level 2? That could be the answer to all my problems! But I'll have to change my application for this table, if you're ok with that.

GM Ietsuna |

Since we have not started rebuild it now and play it as standard in this game. That is if you want to.

GM Ietsuna |

I had not planned this table as core. I did not advertise this table as core so I don't think it is a core table. You playing a standard character will not impact anyone else because they are all playing standard characters themselves.

GM Ietsuna |

I will issue it to you when we wrap up filled in. You just need to keep it with your other sheets for that character (you will get more chronicle sheets as you play more games).

Ok, but how do I keep those sheets online? Is there like some sort of folder where I should keep them for other GMs to check them?

GM Ietsuna |

Yup, that is fine Diaz. A roll of 19 will add 10 GP to the gold you earn in the game.
Ok everyone. We will be kicking off shortly. If you want to go to the Gameplay tab and make a post introducing your character that would be great. I'll get us rolling once we are all there.
For the sake of a jumping off point for those less experienced each of you have received a summons to the offices of Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin and you are assembling outside his office before you go in as a group.

GM Ietsuna |

Carlin, I believe that this is evergreen. We will be done by GD8. Rolling of dayjobs can be now or at the end. You don't need to wait for your second game. Your character did live before embarking on this mission. They may have had a job, studied or done any number of things prior to this so they potentially have skills that could be monetized already.

You need to pay attention to the different initiative between our party and the enemies.
We all act in blocks PCs-enemy-PCs
It would be a very slow game if we all act in the order of the initiative.

GM Ietsuna |

Ok. We might be a bit slow then. I might just pause this over the weekend.

GM Ietsuna |

Sindari Day Job Check: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Ok all. Chronicles are HERE. Three of you have Welcome to Pathfinder boons as well.
If there are any errors please let me know and I will fix them up.
Thanks for playing and have a great Gameday.
