Savi finds a convenient crack to slip through into the lavatory, she finds a woman with a pair of bat wings sprouting from her back, she lies unconscious in a slowly creeping pool of vomit.

Rinika (and Nansi) easily spring the lock to the suite and find a lavish room draped in all manner of green silks and expensive fabrics. A man, the one everyone was kowtowing to earlier, sleeps in the bed. He was in any case, he briefly opens his eyes as the door opens and then disappears after a short incantation.

Feeling tired, Jek briefly debates relaxing with the guards at The Eye of the Dragon. He grumbles something about getting recognized, puts his visor down, and stands a ways back. After a bit he cushes and leans back against the backpack and barrel between his backs. He yawns.

"I'll just be back here... totally not napping."

Whether or not he meant to, Jek falls asleep.

Jek is fatigued until fully healed of temp damage. I believe there's 6 left healing at 8/hr?

Sure, anyone can with perception? She does also have Trap Finding allowing her to disarm magical traps with Disable Device though, from a trait.

Missed the DC in any case.

Rinika finds a dusty potion bottle. The label on it reads in tiny print, ”I prepared explosive runes today.” The glass shatters and waves of force pound into Rinika.

Force: 6d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 6, 4, 2, 3) = 21 There is no save for this.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Fall, nonlethal: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Luckily the disturbance is enough to grab the attention of your target. The Shadowknave jumps from the second level onto the bar but manages to put his foot on a dirty glass, shattering it, and twisting his ankle in the process.

Seated on Lunk’s head, Savi wills the vomit to be cleaned from the winged woman’s face.

Derp forgot mass enlarge and enlarge are 1 round actions to cast so Green Marvent starts casting mass enlarge person, you get that knowledge without spellcraft. Its a standard action to apply heal so Lunk has a move left.

A blur of red streaks from the balcony to a spot on the floor and stabs thin air. Not even a second later a beam of green light shoots out from the air just stabbed and strikes the red blur, to no apparent effect. As your eyes catch up to events you see a skeletal figure wrapped in emaciated leathery skin holding a rusted spear. Globs of thick acid drip from the creature’s body.

Planes DC 21:
It’s a Tanar’ri, specifically a babau. They are assassins of the Abyss. Like all Tanar'ri, they are vulnerable to cold iron weapons; immune to electricity and poison.

Spellcraft DC 21:
The green ray is a disintegrate spell, which failed to affect the skeletal figure due to innate resistance to magic.

The shadowknave runs around back towards the suite, pulling out a wand as he goes, ”Aaaaah!”

Rinika could have encountered any language in Sigil. I can't think of any specific one that would have been spoken while she was in the Box. Rinika has a halfling and an imp in her background so halfling and infernal makes sense. And if you wanted to be the only one who understands goblin you can read their silly dialog.

It was really tempting, but he might know more than the first guard. To some extent this also has to do with my alignment and Colossus's 4 or 5 moments speech from Deadpool 2. If things don't work out, grapples allow natural attacks.

I suppose some time later you'll be able to question the corpses instead.

@Arkynn you can hold on to the large longspear if you like but because it's a two handed weapon you won't be able to attack with it. Unless you have some ability that lets you used larged sized weapons.

@Vaascht I don't think we need to change it.

Also @anyone worried about our passed out friend: it does take an hour to heal 1 point of nonlethal damage. So even if he's exactly out, he'll be out for at least an hour unless someone heals him.

To not clog the gameplay thread I'll post my thoughts here.

If we stay and talk, maybe we can talk our way out. Or we get steamrolled by heavy troops and a mage (or fighter mage)

If we run for the door we might get locked out, caught in the doorway and killed from behind, run into something worse or maybe even more worse.

Best case we get in and bar the door and only have a dozen plus hobs to deal with.

I guess I'm inclined to talk, but am perfectly fine with running for it and hoping we can lock the heavy troops out.

As a side note, from background/fear and the events aleady passed, if they demand we surrender Vaascht will just fight it out, no way he's willingly getting confined AGAIN.

(Then I will be rerolling a character, which is cool too)

Bariaurs are large(long) so reach doesn't come with the size. Since he uses reach weapons, I was eyeing 2 levels of the high guard archetype at some point around levels 6 and 7. That has combat reflexes based on str mod.

Good morning Vaascht! I have a 4 month old, so perhaps we can form a sleep deprivation club of some kind. I tend to type something out early in the morning and then reread it later to see how coherent I was. It's about a 50-50 of decent and wtf.

Otherwise I really don't mind combat here, but I have a feeling that this is the big boss and we shouldn't hold back. I also have high hopes for Vaascht's "Kill Bill" style revenge killings. Oh, and I think the material of the katana makes it 2d6 instead of 1d8 if I'm not mistaken.

So for my next character I'm thinking I want a Bloodrager, perhaps half orc or something cool.

Though I'm awful tempted to bring out Olaf Lodbrook again. He was fun to play and never got a chance to explore his Bloodrager powers. Because if there's one thing a completely insane Oracle haunted by ghosts in his head needs, it's Bloodrage.
