I was leaning towards an energist alchemist but it looks like y'all need some religion in your lives. ...maybe I'll make an Oracle to keep you safely from all that.

My I consider this subdomain? I am researching Druid[Urban]. I am thinking with Mages' Tattoo, and then, at 5th, Inscribe Magical Tattoo Feat.

Seems fine to me.

I think Id like to use these in exchange for fiendish sorcery:

  • Accursed: Transgressions from the past continue to haunt your family line. You take a -1 penalty to all saving throws against effects with the curse descriptor. (Totally made up, but I think -1 RP is fair. -2 maybe given how powerful curses can be, but I'm going by -1 for RP totals.)

  • Greed-touched resistance. Members of this race gain DR 5/Copper, Silver or Gold. (3 RP. It's basically a reflavoring of Moon-touched DR since I don't expect to be attacked by gold swords a lot, but I really like the idea that killing him with something more expensive will hurt more.)

  • Emissary: Once per day, members of this race can roll twice when making a Bluff or Diplomacy check and take the better roll. (1 RP. Nice for a Bard, but not very strong.)

Should leave him within the RP limit, what do you think DM?

    @Green Smashomancer sounds good.

    Thank yee.

I shall endeavor to fill in the holes this week.

I believe that he is ready to be considered.

    Thank you--again--for running!

    (off to work...)

Here's what I have for the Schrodinger's catfolk - I'm still working on equipment, but most of the rest is put together.

    Character Questionnaire:

    Rinika, Schrodinger’s Catfolk Shadow Oracle
    Faction: Currently Unaffiliated (Sigil Newcomer)

In the box, terrible energies coursed through her, changed her, alternating with interminable periods of dread. In the solitude she listened, heard the mumblings of whoever had boxed her. She learned of fell energies, science, and the name Schrodinger. She learned to see, or changed to. She found her torturous mechanisms, and she tinkered. When they activated next, a door opened into Sigil. She’d changed, life and undeath balanced within her, forever marked as patches of death meander across her skin. In the box, she had nothing. In the Cage, she found people, and light, and shinies.

    3x3:
    3 friends, 3 contacts, 3 rivals.
    Friends:
1: Ulthdar Eighttoe - A kindly old druid who befriended Rinika soon after she emerged in Sigil. He’s a long-time but low-ranking Dustie who actively tries to recruit her. Kindly. Possible ulterior motives.
2: Wydell - This free-spirited halfling channels the blessings of a moon goddess from a dying world. He makes sure to check in on Rinika every time he passes through Sigil to meet with his fellow Bleaker agents.
3: Lucan Serapio - Lucan and Rinika drink together sometimes and Lucan provides tips on newcomers to the city. Lucan seems to spend most of her time taking meticulous notes on Dabus activity throughout the city and no one seems to know why.

    Contacts:
1: Lissandra the Gateseeker - She sought out Rinika to discuss the portal from the box, and Rinika has done a few jobs for her since then.
2: Findlebrist - An imp working for the Fraternity of Order whom Rinika has paid “fines” to occasionally when she’s been caught with her paw in a stranger’s pocket.
3: Zakk the taxidermist - Rinika has asked Zakk to get rid of her dead patch, but so far it hasn’t worked.

    Rivals:
1: Kylie - Rinika is trying to do what Kylie does as a tout and has received some friendly advice from her, but isn’t very good at it despite owning Kylie’s Guide to the Cage and referring to it often. Rinika is now on Kylie’s radar though after getting to several marks faster than the tiefling was able to.
2: Tattershade the Wererat - Rinika has unsuccessfully tried to hunt him no less than 4 times. This mildly annoys him.
3: Schrodinger - He may or may not be responsible for putting Rinika in the box and keeping her in the box. Rinika never saw him but would recognize his voice anywhere.

    Fear: Confined Spaces

Character sheet is currently on Myth Weavers.

As a note, looking over the largely non frontliner completed submissions list, I'm perfectly willing to swap archetypes to Yojimbo or Sword Saint so I can incorporate heavy armor.

Was planning on finalizing crunch once selection was over so that's perfectly fine.

We're coming up on 24 hours to finalize submissions! Thanks to everyone who has applied so far. I'll need a few hours after the deadline to mull over the options. I'll PM you if you are selected and post it here. If you were not selected and want feedback on why you weren't selected let me know via PM.

See you all on the other side...

DM Delmoth Expanded profile for Evie can be found here. I was hoping to have more of an expanded background finished, but it's unlikely I'll get it done tonight. Also not 100% decided on crunch (race and character), but as you say, we can work out specific builds if I'm chosen.

    Everybody Good luck!

This sounds like a lot of fun. I'd like to run a Bariaur charger. Here's his write-up:

    Spoiler:

    Name: Jek
    Race: Bariaur
    Class: Cavalier - Charger
    Faction: Signer

Concept Jek's been coming to Sigil for as long as he can remember. His tribe is one of several that takes turns monitoring the connecting portal. He wants nicer things, so he's working as a courier.

    Friends:
•Tul - Bariaur - Warrior in home tribe; Former courrier; Mentor
•Lerissa Aveila - Elf - Mage who sells trinkets in the market. She got Jek intersted in the Signers
•Mordroc Slade - Tiefling Rogue - CG - Childhood friend. Lots of hide and seek. Proof that good people come from all places.
    Contacts:
•Bex- Bariaur - Chief of home tribe; Father; Caring but busy
•Selana - Centaur - Sells fruit and excellent sweet grass in Signpost (Krigala)
•Vorn Sharik - Oread - Owns the Poor Sod tavern. There's sod on the roof. Jek occasionally delivers food and munches on the grass. Great place to bring friends and family.
    Rivals:
•Wyk - Bariaur - Older brother; Hunter; Future leader potential; Thinks Jek is wasted as a courier
    • Telfor Ert - Human - Jousting trainer at (TBD);
•Fenwick Stidlefaw- Gnome - Jolly owner of driver of Fenwick's Cross-Sigil Delivery Wagon; Seems to be in multiple places at once.

Fear: The fated are a blindly hostile bunch, and Jek is on edge whenever he sees one of them approach anyone. The Hall of Records is way too close to home.
Secret: When Jek doesn't think he can make a delivery, he entrusts it to Fenwick.

Yep, I got a mythweavers sheet ready to go for Vercci if he's chosen as well.

    Good luck to everybody!

    Recruitment is now CLOSED!

Later tonight I will announce the winners. Thanks everyone for your entertaining submissions! This will not be an easy choice.

It was such a hard choice that I decided to take an extra player and it was still a hard choice after that. If these fine folk can dot in on the discussion thread I'd appreciate it.

Aw. Well, enjoy the game to everybody who made it!

If you don't mind Delmoth, I'd like one of those PMs saying why I wasn't chosen to consider for future submissions.

    Name: Cr'gir
Race: Half-Orc Mutant (Half orc/half giant)
    Class: Barbarian-Titan Mauler
    Faction: None
Concept Cr'gir is adapting still. He is not native or a frequent visitor of Sigil, but got there during an accident in the prime material plane, his home.

    Friends:
•Malak - half orc - His instructor in the ways of the wild, he took young Cr'gir under his wing and helped to nurture him - mentor
•Leon - human - Someone that fought Cr'gir in a duel over a kill in the wilderness to a stalemate earning Cr'gir's respect. He earned the human's respect also it seems, as they hunt and actually mess around together on hunts - Friend
•Cruumsh - half orc - Widely thought to be the second coming of Gruumsh (hence the name, his birthname is actually unknown anymore) Superstition says he is immortal as he can is still alive long past when half orcs normally die. His conquests are many, one of his early conquests was against a giant village, where Cr'gir came from - father
    Contacts:
•Grex - Hill giant - mother that hasn't been seen for a decade
•Col - Half orc - Blacksmith for his orcish tribe
•Trink - Half orc - Animal wrangler for Cr'gir's tribe
    Rivals:
•Sulk - Half orc - Tribe rival to Cr'gir's they fight over the same hunting lands, he is a ranger
•Sko - Half orc - Cr'gir's tribes shaman. Sees Cr'gir as an abomination that should not be in this world, so sent him to another.
•Farak - Githzerai - Stablehand of the Bumbling Monk stables. Where Cr'gir first appeared in Sigil. Cr'gir caused a ton of property damage, dueled Farak and won, only knocking Farak out before having to make a hasty retreat. (Farak was charged for the damages since no one else saw Cr'gir)

Fear: Deathly afraid of water more than knee deep for him.
Secret: Secretly thinks he is very weak so he postures as being strong for everyone else.
