"Lunk" |

If the street performance does nothing to draw Quake’s attention, Lunk will assume there isn’t an invisible force field or secret entrance, but that Quake (and her club???) have moved elsewhere.
He (and Savi) will watch for others wearing the Xaositect symbol, but should they fail to meet Quake, Gilly or any other Xaositects, they’ll head back to where the party is.

Nikrir Leldro |

"Oh yeah, Lunk and Savi should've arrived by now." MaNik comments.
"Those barmies are probably on the way. Why don't we go for the suicide mission? I have an extra me that needs suiciding." He continues as the rather blocky looking TitaNik grins and points at himself with one hand while adjusting a couple of sacks he's holding with his other hand.

Conor the Wanderer |

so we are heading out on a suicide adventure

Nikrir Leldro |

we are unless someone complains about it and wants to go to arborea instead xD

Rinika |

I thought we missed the boat on the suicide mission, are we being even more suicidal and just shadowing their route by ourselves?

Conor the Wanderer |

waves hands
we just made it on time :)

DM_Delmoth |

So long as you guys hustle everyone can meet the caravan at the portal in the Lower Ward. The shipment is going the long way round Sigil. You're not so constrained. I'll give a detailed explanation on how you do it.

Eventually Lunk and Savi return.
Savi explains, “I know we were supposed to get Gilly to tell us about that knave, but the night got eventful. I woke up under what I thought was a blanket…”
Lunk’s hands rapidly form several shapes.
“…because it was a blanket.”
Savi’s eyebrows pop up suddenly, and her eyes remain momentarily bulged and fixed upon something way weirder than panties used as a blanket.
“So, uh… Nik. That’s new. How do you determine its gender? Do you peek under the tail, or check between each pair of legs and take an average?”

Nikrir Leldro |

"Between its...?" MaNik replies before he slaps his forehead.

TitaNik |

Patting it on the... upper flank? and shaking his head, TitaNik recovers from his look of shock and says "Don't worry about being a eunuch Horsington, you didn't need any of those anyway..."

Conor the Wanderer |

Conor eyes the monstrosity with a wary eye, hand hovering quite near the grip of his new sword.
"That's... Something. Even for you. Still, looks pretty useful.

Rinika |

Rinika....gets the message then, I guess? Do we need to get some silver ravens or something?
Rinika pads up, silently admiring Niks' new steed.
"Uhm. Okay. So, we're all going to die together, is that what I'm hearing?"

Conor the Wanderer |

Conor chuckles, "Nah, probably be full of danger and the pay is s*+~e, but it gets us where we want to go. Should be fun. Get to use my new sword!"

Nikrir Leldro |

"We won't die together, well TitaNik might die, but no one is going to be left behind." Nik adds, briefly showing off a small onyx gem and nodding to explain his meaning.

"I'd rather not be skellington the seventh, if it's all the same to you." Conor rumbles, with a look at the stone. "I go down, you leave me be." he finishes with a meaningful glance at Rinika, hoping he remembered her early agreement not to let Nik zombify him.

"Savi" |

Savi eyes the black gem, and Conor’s words makes her wonder less and worry a lot more.
“Uh, yeah. Lunk and I really can’t exist as zombies. Undead can’t do comedy acts. We’d get pity laughs. Like, oh ha ha ha, sorry you died. Please don’t munch my brain.”
Her face is dead serious when she says this.

Rinika |

Rinika meets Conor's glance and immediately looks away nervously, then she gives a solemn nod.
"Well, I don't think I want to be...fully..turned either. Seems like a pretty shbady existence."
She glances around a bit in suspicion after the vocal...hiccup, but doesn't seem to piece it together.

"Savi" |

“Very shabad.” Savi nods in agreement.
“–ee.”

"Lunk" |

Lunk awkwardly signs the letter E as Savi mutters the final syllable of ‘sh’bady.’

"Savi" |

“A fate shaworsier than death.”

Savi replies, “Oh… it’s, uh… obviously not local lingo. My sh’b… er, my just-plain-bad.”

Nikrir Leldro |

"but... friends forever..." Nik mumbles meekly.

Connor and Jek get the chant from Quavois Faithminder I misgendered her in a prior post a bariaur trader who has no trouble carting expensive merchandise to the lower planes. She brooks little nonsense and no humor, gruff and businesslike. She’s made the trip through Plauge-Mort several times, but this is the first time to Lolth’s realm. A peery cutter, she promises Connor that they are welcome to join as minders for the most dangerous portion of the trip, payment on delivery.
The journey will start at a portal in the Lower Ward of Sigil, a warehouse door wide enough to fit a wagon through. She does not give Connor the key, citing trade secrets but is fine with meeting the party at the portal. After digging up the details on the Arborean portal Connor wastes little time meeting with Nik and Rinika at the cheap flophouse they were temporarily calling kip. It's a short distance from the Poor Sod’s where the trio find Lunk and Savi day-drinking.
The party decides to head through the Hive Ward, having traipsed through the ward on many occasions they’re confident they can make the deadline if they run. After all Quavois needs to gather the shipment in the Market Ward and then head to the Lower Ward, she’s going the long way round Sigil.
If you move 30ft or more you take 2 nonlethal damage from hustling for 3 hours and are fatigued. If you can get your speed up to 60ft for that time or are mounted you don’t need to do this. Anyone who moves less than this must be left behind or come up with some way of keeping up. If that’s not possible you miss the deadline.
Connor and Jek additionally need to give me forced march checks for three hours. Con checks DC 12, 14, and 16 or take 1d6 nonlethal damage per check and become fatigued.
The fatigue from hustling, and missing the forced march checks are cumulative so it is possible that Connor and Jek fall unconscious.

"Lunk" |

Lunk plays a song on his ocarina which summons a horse!
He mounts it.

"Savi" |

Savi says, “Epona, yay!”
She then offers to the others, “Should Lunk play Epona’s song again?”

Conor the Wanderer |

Conor nods at Lunk, (my phone keeps autocorrecting Lunk to Link, ironically) "Good idea." reaching for his gold pouch, "How much you charge for one of those things, is it daily? Can you make more?"

Conor the Wanderer |

Stopping, Conor changes his mind. "Hmm, it's a long trip, I should just buy a mount. Anyone know where the closest stables is?" and he'll look to buy a light mount, saddle and tack, and feed (the player can't recall how long this journey is supposed to take).
"I'll catch up if need be."

Conor the Wanderer |

done! 10% more you said, I assume for it all. Will there be any issues finding it all?

DM_Delmoth |

done! 10% more you said, I assume for it all. Will there be any issues finding it all?
No issues.

Nikrir Leldro |

"Yes please." MaNik chimes in as he mounts Horsington.

TitaNik |

"Maybe once for TitaNik and once for Zombington... and Rinika too?" TitaNik says, looking to the furry little lady.

"Lunk" |

Lunk plays the Epona song again.
If he’s able to summon one horse successfully, he’ll summon two more.

DM_Delmoth |

1d100 ⇒ 28
1d100 ⇒ 26
1d100 ⇒ 18
One of the horses has purple and green stripes. Another has glowing red eyes but otherwise seems normal enough.

TitaNik |

TitaNik helps Zombington up before handing him the two sacks and mounting the third steed to appear.
MaNik rides on the right of TitaNik, who holds his own reigns as well as guiding Zombington's horse.
lol, we must ride 3 abreast to make this work...

"Savi" |

Savi is surprised by the glowing eyes and the… “How come TitaNik gets a psychedelic zebra?”
She flies up to Lunk and pokes his Xaositect badge. “Ya think these new badges mess with your magic?” Her tone suggests she is more intrigued than she is concerned (if at all).

Jek Tal'dor |

While the group debates how to get around Sigil quickly Jek quietly munches on some Dothion barbed grass. It had picked up some musk from his saddlebag, but it still hit the spot. Whenever anyone starts to look at his saddle he moves just a little bit so it's out of their view.
While chewing he suddenly realizes that he forgot to swing by an alchemist. Buying a bunch of cheap consumables and two bandoliers He swings buy a stand as they cross town.

Rinika |

I'm not sure between here and the discord if Rinika has received a horse or if she takes nonlethal instead.

DM_Delmoth |

You have not because someone needs a horse for their zombie. I think the zombie could fit in a barrel but he wants to ride in style.
Mount spell x4 to Lunk, TitaNik, Zombington, and Rinika
Connor buys his own.
Jek counts as his own mount.
I still need forced march checks from Jek. Edit: I'll just roll...
Con check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Con check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Con check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Nonlethal: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 6) = 12

Nikrir Leldro |

does that mean Jek collapses in a heap when we arrive? Not sure how often Nik would heal the damage, but I guess if Jek didn't complain, Nik wouldn't pay enough attention until he collapsed, being busy himself; trying not to faint or lose his shambler xD
Apparently, exhausted means moving half speed, so Nik would've noticed immediately after the second failed Con check...
.
I'm also not sure why I didn't stick Zombington in the barrel...
Zombington needs the horsie in case I need to send him charging at something :D
Also, if Jek were mounted, he'd be taking lethal damage from the forced march... so there's that...
After the third hour of hurrying to the meeting point, Nik finally notices Jek's labored breathing and slowing pace.
"You can push through, Jek, and this'll help..." Nik pulls out a rod and casts an Extended Infernal Healing on Jek to help him recover. he recovers in... 6 rounds if we use the first two dice. Should be fine xD
now that I think about it... I'm not helping the summoned horses and their... 1 and then 2 and then 4? lethal damage, lol
Which makes me think that Horsington can't hustle more than 4 hours while mounted, he only has DR 5...

The party manages to arrive a couple minutes early at the portal. The caravan consists of four small wagons each pulled by a mule, each is loaded with a single locked iron chest. In addition to the party and Quavois there are sixteen other bashers. Six of them wear armor and have various weapons, the visible ones are made from cold iron.
Exiting the portal you are deposited into a wilderness not unlike many prime worlds, but you can feel a kind of greasy malevolence weigh on your soul. Thickets are too deep and too dark, the sky rolls with uneasy clouds, and the vegetation pales and struggles.
Plague-Mort, a short walk from the portal to the Outlands, is a festering boil waiting to burst. A gilded and grand residence sits in the center surrounded by walls. It is heavily guarded by all manner of plane-touched; tieflings, alu-fiends, and cambions. Surrounding the opulent and paranoid display of wealth and power are gray ruins, ill-kept hovels, and open-sewers. The streets are ridden with grime and disease. Hacking coughs ring through the chill air.
Quavois garnishes one of the fiendish guards with a diamond. She suggests you and the other guards, ”Get rooms in the Eye of the Dragon. The Hounds have claimed the Golden Griffon and it doesn’t serve me to have minders in the dead-book.”
If your name is Rinika, Nik, or Jek
Perception DC 20
You have maybe an hour tomorrow to explore if you want.
