Yeah, I was going to do that today when the wee ones were napping and I could actually sit at a computer
DM_Delmoth
Jek made a treasure tracking sheet linked in my byline. Can everyone just go over their page and verify that everything is accurate?
Vaascht
Looks fantastic, thanks Jek for the work!
DM_Delmoth
I'd like to point out that the gold values may not add up to exactly 150.
Reasons could be that your first set of clothes are free or you bought a kit and the numbers don't work out exactly right when you break down the individual items. It was more of a test to make sure the sheet was working as intended.
Thanks again Jek.

Yomi I hope it's not anything too bad, and that you feel better soon.
Delmoth I'm in the midst of tweaking Evie's crunch into the animist archetype. I should be done tomorrow night, and will put up a vitals byline once complete.
Vaascht
Hope you get well soon Yomi
Vaascht
First or second for Vaascht.
Evie Lathrop
Generally Evie tries to stay in the middle unless explicitly scouting ahead, so 3rd or 4th? I’m inclined to think that Jek would bring up the rear in the confines of urban environments, so that the rest of us can see where we’re going.

There's a couple things that come to mind for Jek's placement:
Charge. Jek will likely move the first round. With ride-by attack, there may be times when Jek won't be between the enemy and the rest of the party.
Threatened Area. Jek takes up a 10'x10' square. Within 5' of that, he threatens with his horns. At reach, he threatens with his lance.
Escape Route. As a standard action, Jek can make allies not provoke AoO when moving through squares adjacent to (or within) other allies for 3 rounds. I only mention this because it's an "oh crap" button for when positioning is really unfortunate.
I was envisioning having Jek along side of the party in large open areas. In narrow corridors, it's a bit tougher. It'd be nice to have Jek behind Vaascht due to reach, but then the back side of the party may be vulnerable.
DM_Delmoth
Alright I'm going with the "alternate" order as standard with Vaascht in the lead Jek behind him followed by Evie and Arkynn, and bringing up the rear Rinika and Yomi.
DM_Delmoth
My laptop might be borked. And my last game post was eaten by the site will post later tonight at the earliest
Rinika
Hopefully I'm not getting ahead of myself here, but planning ahead a bit, how do you feel about fractional bonus progression for multiclassing? I'm considering a level or two of ninja before continuing on as a shadow oracle, as Rinika starts to actually get the hang of some of the things she keeps trying to do. Fractional would help a lot for BAB between two 3/4 BAB classes.
Vaascht
I don't see it spelled out anywhere but do you drop your weapons when pinned like when knocked out?
Not that I plan on chopping up anyone, nope, not at all
DM_Delmoth
My gut reaction to fractional bonus progression is that's the price of versatility. But I'm willing to entertain the idea. Does anyone have any strong feelings about it?
Vaascht I'm sure you still have your weapon.
Vaascht
I don't know what that is, so I'll have to look it up
Rinika
Fractional Bonus Progression from Unchained
It evens out multi class BAB and base saves so that they're fractions that round down. Typically results in slightly higher bab and slightly lower saves (the 1st level +2 bonus on good saves doesnt stack)
I tend to like it but I'm okay either way.
Vaascht
Since I'm so nice and out of action at the moment and have had no real effect on the battle, would it be possible to change my class to Kensai Magus?
I'm really having difficulty living with the idea of a Gith who isn't a fighter/wizard and don't want to trod the long winding path of Eldritch knight. Plus we've already got a sweet cavalier in Jek anyhow
If not, that's cool too.
Vaascht
OK, I will do. That means my lower (for now) AC will make me want to be back in the 2nd or 3rd spot.

DM_Delmoth
I'll get a gameplay post up sometime tonight but you should start thinking about level 2. Once you report that Eliath is dead to Mawl you'll level up.
DM_Delmoth
I'm calling that you lost Yomi. I did intentionally recruit one more person than I'm comfortable running for because I expected someone to drop.
DM_Delmoth
I'm working on a response to Rinika's questions. Would you believe it's the one about where the boat came from that's holding me up? I vaguely remember there being an answer somewhere but I'm not finding it in the literature. Sorry for the delay.

No worries! I'm just throwing out questions....if the roll's good enough to give something useful then that's fine, but I do appreciate all the extra detail. For a planescape newbie, it's really helping to bring the setting to life.
Plus, there's always the possibility that the bartender has no idea.
DM_Delmoth
I couldn't find a primary source for my inkling, so it will have to remain a mystery.
Vaascht
On the road today, will get updated to level 2 tonight!
Vaascht
Average HP? Max? Roll?
DM_Delmoth
You can roll if you really want to but I recommend taking average rounded up. I should add that if you do one you're committed to that method for the life of the character.
Vaascht
Average has always worked for me
Rinika
If in reading this right, we have just over 1000 gp in the party loot, I'd like to take 130 of that as we walked through the market areas to pick up a little curiosity to sate Rinika's need for shinies - I'm thinking a pair of Liquid Glass Eyeglasses (purely ornamental of course.)
DM_Delmoth
Partial wands would be available. And a wand of infernal healing is in theme for the game in case you were worried about grabbing one of those vs a wand of cure light.
Vaascht
Sounds good to me.
I do have it on my spell list as well
DM_Delmoth
Pretty sure we lost Evie as well. Evie if you are still around please let us know.
Losing Evie would mean we have enough players to keep playing but one less than my ideal number. If there was someone from the initial recruitment that you thought had a particularly good character let me know and I will see if they are still willing to join. Otherwise I can open recruitment again.
Rinika
I'm okay either way. I like the group we have, but another active member wouldn't hurt things.
Also, if you guys are itching for a fight, it sounds like we can jump into one at any point, no hard feelings.
