Spoiler:
. Breeze looked at the strange creature uncertainly. The decision to accept the package was not difficult, however. She took it, pleased to see a lock pick inside. Ill die in here anyway. Might as well go along with the flow here. "Tell the patron I'm in," she whispers to the fading figure. She keeps the pick in her hand, trusting her fur and claws would give it a great deal of natural camouflage. "Howsabout you, toots? Are you in as well? You better be or there will have to be a problem. I can't have you ratting on me," she demanded from her pretty cell mate.
Alleria sits with her back against the wall of the cell, her head down and her eyes closed, with her arms crossed over her chest in a relaxed postion. She slowly raises her head and opens her eyes, then smiles at Breeze. "I'm in." She agrees. "Although you have the claws, you might be the one doing the heavy lifting with the guards, if that is acceptable to you?"
Alleria rolls a lock-pick between her thumb and forefinger, wondering with amusement if such a small object could be used as a weapon against the guards.
Sorry, apparently I previewed and didn't post last night..
Ilan stealthily jabs his dagger into the rear guard's neck, hoping to silence him, but unfortunately, the dagger skips across a vertebrae, reducing the effect of the attack.

Spoiler:
"Stay behind me, and we'll see the guards don't mess up that pretty face of yours. We need a plan to draw the guards in when it's time. Could you play sick? That might lure a guard in here. Or we could just try and pick the lock and stealthily move to the guards."
Alleria stands and raises her arms over her head, interlocking her fingers and arching her back as she yawns and stretches, combating the stiffness that comes from resting in an uncomfortable prison cell.
"Either plan sounds good, I'll follow your lead." she replies. "You probably have a much better idea of what you are doing than I do."
Wow... posting speed is intense in this game. Nemenia intended to inspire courage for our group in the surprise round so that everyone has +1/+1. Maintaining only then so it last the surprise round and two after with lingering performance. Otherwise, there haven't been any weapons of small size that she can use so she is keeping back.
Inspired by Nemenia's liturgy and taking advantage of the two nasty things in front of the guard, Ilan strikes again against the distracted man, this time bringing the blade in from the side to avoid bouncing off the bones in his neck.
You aren't but this is a building wide effect. That had nothing to do with the shackles and everything to do with something else.
Gimme a for saving please dc12.
Alleria holds her stomach and turns green. "Bleh, don't want to try that again." She remarks. "Well, I guess now I don't even have to pretend to be sick." She flops on the floor and cries out in a exaggerated manner, holding her gut and playing up her illness to get the guards attention!

DM and Allaria:
Spoiler:
My bad. I thought that when you posted we needed to wait for three guard changes or whatever that we should hold off on the escape for a bit. . The female cat yells to the guard. "Hey get in here! This girl's throwing up all over the cell, holding her stomach. Come get her out before I come down with something!".
The guards sigh and one of the two leaves. You cat thing back up against the wall the other guard went to fetch a medic. He is ready to open the doot and check on her. His club is readied however as he waits.
Upstairs folk.... When you get back down and are looking around you see a guard come and man in robes come out of room ten close the door behind them.
Breeze stumbles as he swings at the guard. The guard starts to turn and yell. His club coming up in a guard. Really girl your that stupid? Start 1st round you two go first.
actually I've realized Alleria is better off just staying down this round and trying to get away, if she attacks with her weak unarmed attack the guard will get a much more deadly free AoO.
Alleria crawls away from the guard, trying to put some distance between them. if she can take a withdraw action without provoking an AoO by leaving a threatened square after her initial one.
Yes you can get away. 1d20 ⇒ 151d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4dmg. Breeze the guard clubs you hard but he is looking rough. He is no longer flat footed. And you have no flank. You twos go.
You see a few clubs but you would have to pass through the guards threatened area to get out of the cell. The other inmates are staring breast held. Hope is evident in their eyes.
Alleria checks to see if there are any throwable objects within reach. If she fails in that she casts mage hand on a club to try and draw it towards her grasp.
With the taste of blood still fresh on her tongue, Yzera lets care, and common sense, go out the window. When she sees the guard with the horn, she charges forward hoping to eliminate the chance of the guard blowing his horn. I hope that Thok will charge with me to hit the man in robes.
Yzera you have map for yours its the main hall down stairs. For where breeze and Starfrost are there is no map.
Nice shot.
1d20 ⇒ 141d6 ⇒ 2
You nearly take the guard from his feet with your blow. Thok will charge in beside you bearing the other man to the ground.
Starfrost&Breeze:
I have been I have their attacks memorized the guards swing at +2 no str mods. Well the guards you have seen so far have... Starfrost retrieves the club with her magic. Breeze meanwhile has her claws smitten off the guards armor. The guards swing goes wide hitting the wall.

Spoiler:
. Breezelee uses the gaurd's distraction to try a more vicious attack. She moves to flank the guard, if it can be done in a 5' step. If not, she moves toward a flank by 5' anyway.
Attack 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 4 + 2 = 25, if flanked
Damage 1d4 ⇒ 1 plus 1d6 ⇒ 5 sneak attack if flanked.
Ilan rushes forward, though without Yzera's wild abandon, and seeing Thok having pinned the other man, stabs the man wearing the cursed uniform of a Brandescar guard when he reaches him. "Another horn for our collection," he says, smiling wickedly...
Hey all, I think that I am the new recruit divineshadow has been talking about. As a note, I do not think that this will show up under the Campaign tab until the Gameplay thread is started and you dot it. (FYI - you are new to Paizo boards, dotting is simply putting a "." or anything else in a post so that it registers in your tabs.)
Currently I am thinking about making a Slayer from the ACG. I know the new book does not come out for a few weeks, but I will start with the playtest and hopefully it will not change that much. Might also look at the Swashbuckler. My understanding is that you have the divine and arcane pretty well covered, have a strong frontliner, and with the ninja have decent skills. This will give another good melee character with solid skills to help the ninja.
If there is something else that you all need, please let me know before I get too far into the character creation.
Most people post with their game alias in discussion. It keeps things simple cause you know okay this is this person saying this. Unlike me with my three different alais in recruitment lol.
Obviously, you're free to change stuff around however you like. I had fun statting up the mad cultist who will rip the thoughts from your head, including your memory of her doing so. (Recharge Innate Magic will let her cast Memory Lapse more times once she hits level five and can do more mental break-and-enter.)
Okay, I'll dot right now and finalize the details on my rival. Decided to go with a scholarly cleric of Mithra.
The reason I asked about other gods is that I originally had Korwin as an anti-paladin not quite yet devoted to Tiamat (the Tiamat of Faerun no less), in keeping with his whole draconic theme. Not sure how much you picked up, but I want to take Korwin down the Eldritch Heritage: Draconic line of Feats and get him some claws, a breath weapon, and wings so that he's a terrifying incarnation of evil draconic majesty. His backstory is meant to reflect a long lost relation to an evil dragon with whom they formed an alliance to rule by proxy in exchange for proper obeisance to the elder wyrm and the deity of evil dragons.
If that's all still cool let me know, it's both my reasoning behind his Eldritch Ancestry feats (to come) and his Prince Trait, the idea being he comes from an ancient line of kings back when the land was populated by nothing but warring clans. None of this is anything Korwin is presently aware of, except that his life was recently touched by some malevolent shade who offered to act as his benefactor and gave him a sample of the dark power he could find in doing so.
I never saw the recruitment thread. Things arent as easily linked there as here.
As for the story I am most totally okay with that. In fact it plays to a few things I already have planned lol. And honestly I haven't had time to dig through your back stories yet. I just got off a 12 or 14 hrs shift bleck. If you guys will make sure your back stories on on your profile pages I will get to them tomorrow right after I finish a character for a game I should already be posting in lol. Stupid work.
Note I say that because thanks to idiots quitting/ getting fired I am stuck doing two 80 hrs weeks in a row. Again stupid work.
Also I would like every one to list two or three items and feats you would like your character to have but probably wouldn't go out of your way to get. And nothing too powerful.
Sort of figured out where I am going. Trying to decide between two weapon fighting with sawtooth sabres (just sounds cool and evil), and then eventually picking up some Crimson (Red Mantis) Assassin PrC levels, or weapon and shield (Shield Bash, Shield Master, etc). With the ability to take Ranger Style feats, there is some versatility in this, just need to figure out which I want.
For everyone out there who is wondering, I am still working on a Slayer. Trying to figure out exactly how I want to go in the long run - other classes or possible PrC.
----
As far as other feats we would like, are you talking about combat feats? Or other more interesting feats - Eldritch Heritage or something like that (Skill Focus, Cosmopolitan, etc.)
As for feats. Well a bit of both things that would improve your build but aren't necessarily something you can fit in. Things you would like but don't have space for.
Female Sylph Wizard; HP 8/8; AC 13 Flat 10 Touch 13; Fort +3 Ref +5 Will +6; (+2AC vs. mundane ranged attacks) (-2 saves vs. non-spells/SLAs)
Ooh!
Feats:
Evolved Familiar is nice. It lets a familiar deliver touch spells without provoking.
Airy Step is a minor Sylph feat. It's a prereq for a ninth level flight feat.
~or~
I have never had room as any sort of caster to take Point Blank Shot and Precise Shot.
Magic items:
(Assuming they're supposed to be in the ~1000gp range)
Muleback Cords are great for dealing with low strength scores. Eventually, she'll be crafting Cloak of Resistance stats on there as well.
Bookplate of Recall is handy for wizards.
Beast Bond Brand is a limited charge item, but it seems handy to be able to cast on one's familiar from a short distance.
(If we can get something a little larger)
Caster's Tattoo, Lesser is everything I've ever wanted from an item. Casting a spell without declaring to the entire world that you're doing it is a two-feat investment and raises the slot by two, but this lets you do it once per day with a low-level spell. I think it's one of the best items for roleplay possibilities, and it's probably my second-favorite item. (Nothing will ever beat Migrus Locker.)
Got it, I went ahead and posted the link to my Mythweavers sheet, along with abilities, statblock, and character details under this Alias, and now that he's submitted for the game you should be able to look him over freely, right?
@Lauren why for you only know three spells? It should be three plus intelligence modifier lvl 1 spells even with out a book you would still know them.... also pick your memorized spells. You still start with those.
Okay I have read you twos whose next? Im missing two of the originals.... I imagine our fifth is till putting his together.

I assumed we would be starting out in prison without handy things like a spellbook or familiar. Since Lauren doesn't have her spellbook, she wouldn't have the spells, only the prepared spells. I don't mind picking out the rest, of course.

If you're house ruling it, then sure, but to the best of my knowledge, wizards only "know" the spells they have prepared and uncast, along with Read Magic and anything they've taken Spell Mastery for.
SRD wrote:
A wizard can use the procedure for learning a spell to reconstruct a lost spellbook. If he already has a particular spell prepared, he can write it directly into a new book at the same cost required to write a spell into a spellbook. The process wipes the prepared spell from his mind, just as casting it would. If he does not have the spell prepared, he can prepare it from a borrowed spellbook and then write it into a new book.
Thus the infamously paranoid wizard with half a dozen spare spell book copies spread across as many dimensions. Ditto for alchemists and witches, plus any lower-level magus.
(Also, if you'd rather I roll with GM calls in my favor rather than bringing up RAW, I can do that. XP But I've got a Lawful streak to my alignment…)
Yes but the way i run it you still cant memorize until you rebuild the book. If I'm gonna take your book on purpose I'm not gonna give you the time to rewrite it. I control the pacing. However accidents happen people get killed and brought back with no gear no book. Instead of making you find every single freaking spell again I would rather give you the power to rewrite it instead of playing something nearly worse than a commoner til you can track down useful spells.

M'kay, sounds good. I appreciate it! I'll go pick out those extra spells, then. The ones there are the ones that she had prepared. (Feel free to consider the Bookplate of Recall the lowest priority of the things on my list, then.)
(Also, Lauren resents the commoner remark. She can totally apply a minor debuff to saves and AC for a single round, multiple times per day!)
Female Sylph Wizard; HP 8/8; AC 13 Flat 10 Touch 13; Fort +3 Ref +5 Will +6; (+2AC vs. mundane ranged attacks) (-2 saves vs. non-spells/SLAs)
At this level, the spellbook is not her true source of power. She gets a house cat as a class feature! Together, they are a first-level-commoner-killing mass murder engine of death.
Nope he escaped and has followed you. He has successfully suckered the guards and such into believing he is just a random stray mousing and lounging for scraps.
I generally avoid killing pc pets unless they get too uppity. At low levels he will be ignored unless he is actively attacking someone. At higher levels the more effectively you use him the more likely the enemy is to dedicate some resources to removing the threat. If you get my meaning.
Ok, a few thoughts on items and feats that would be interesting.
For an item, definitely a Glove of Storing would be good to hold on of the sawtooth sabres. Another item I always like are Feather Step Slippers.
As for feats, Quickdraw would be fun. With the Gloves of Storing, I can put away a sabre as a free action, and the Quickdraw feat will allow me to draw a Quickdraw Shield as a free action which will help with AC and still allow full attacks with the two sabres.
Other feats that would be useful:
Step Up -- Following Step -- Step Up and Strike <-- these are great to keep casters from doing bad things and as player who will be doing a lot of sneaking, I will likely be close to casters.
Really, there is less need for the Gloves of Storing if I have the Quick Draw feat, but being able to just a large serrated sawtooth sabre suddenly appear in your hand is really cool.
CAN I HAVE A PET? I'll totally take on a pet Adamintine +5 Keen Icy Burst Wakizashi. And he won't get targeted because swords don't kill people, people kill people. Sweeeet.
Seriously, though, I may get a pet if it's coolio. Probs a cat. Maybe not.
Finding some villager whose willing to give you a kitten should be no problem, you just need to have handle animal to train it and make it your friend. On the other hand, not really all that evil to adopt someone's kitten so maybe another direction can be made.
If we're requesting certain magic items . . . Adamantine is my favorite thing in the game. Any weapon or armor made out of I would kill for, and not just in the general sense that we're PCs and even good PCs kill things and take their stuff.
I think of it this way: If you have the leader of a church who goes out and heals entire communities and gives them all food but in his spare time, he picks out one person a week to slaughter like a pig and eat: Bro is evil.
If my character happens to enjoy the companionship of a small black cat that just happens to enjoy being fed all the time until it develops a typical animal connection, it doesn't nullify a willingness and proclivity to kill just because other methods towards achieving ends are a little harder.
It would stick around until battle happens then it would scamper off, finding us again by scent or sticking around within an area.
Since I'm not planning on teaching him any tricks other than to know where he can find food, I wont need a handle animal check.
Things that I want and are second-tier important? I'm not looking for WAY later-on kind of stuff. This is more like beteen levels 5-10 stuff.
I know I want the following: Weapon Finesse, Combat Expertise, Combat Reflexes, Imp Init, Disarm, Trip, but that's all part of my projected growth path to level 7.
Feats I want but will probably never take: Skill Focus, Blood Drinker, Blood Salvage, Blood Feaster.
I have to look through items and general feats more to fully answer the Q though. Falling asleep. Sorry I haven't been as active as I could be, I'm close to a final. My character has been complete though and I'm ready to start posting!
Figured I should post with my actual alias. I think that the crunch is done. divineshadow knows where I am going with a background, although I need to put it into words. Hopefully will get it done before tonight.
FYI - if anyone likes the format that I use, I can easily email it. Just PM me your email. It cannot really be sent directly via PM as the PM activates the formatting [b], [i], [ooc],
, etc. and you will not be able to copy it from a PM, but it copies and pastes fine from an email.
That was what he said. He checked into recruitment initially. It seems we might need a new one. I won't be the one to say go ahead, find somebody new, but neither will I protest it happening.
I have a really good player I think that I can get, unfortunately he is on vacation and apparently the place he is renting does not have internet. He should be back on Sunday the 22nd I think. If you do not want to wait that long, I can try a few others as I am in more than a few campaigns.
What time do you all usually post? I am on and off the computer most of the day, so can respond fairly quickly as long as it is not in the middle of the night.

I'm on central time. Just started a new job- definitely not of the sort where I can post from work, so 8-5ish is going to be out. Weekends are pretty much free, though.
