Once you have made your purchases, you head back out. As you do, make perception checks. If you meet or beat 26, then roll a reflex check to react to what you saw.

Blinky is on the ball...

![]() |

Blinky is indeed on the ball. He grabs the baby carriage you saw before it starts rolling down the street into oncoming traffic. You can confront the lady giant you saw before that was tailing you, and the halfling that was inside the carriage.
((Diplomacy or intimidate check))

Diplomacy 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (18) + 15 = 33
"Hey lady, you realise that isn't a baby, that kid is now full-sized? That must have been quite some holiday you went on, and a brave Halfling"
"Glad I was able to step in, don't thank me, you're welcome - but let's keep things sensible and careful and not have any catastrophic accidents or anything people might regret"
Blinky tries light-hearted banter and some gentle dissuasion/persuasion.

![]() |

Blinky defuses the situation resulting in Grannock (the giant) and Danforth (the halfling) admitting that they work for Chancellor Sereveg, and were ordered to publicly discredit you.
They have nothing for to tell you before leaving.
Elthel also asked you to deliver a letter to Chireet at the Felicitous Morsels tavern in the Sicantro district of Anduwar. The letter is sealed. In this district, nearly everything is sized for Medium-sized people.

Pon. |

Pon will use his personal datapad to covertly record Grannok and Danforth's admission.
Sleight Of Hand: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (16) + 17 = 33
After they leave, Pon says, "To Felicitous Morsels?"

![]() |

Blinky calls the vehicle back and piles everyone in so they can head to deliver the letter...

When you arrive at this cozy, dimly lit tavern, you can easily locate Chireet Zrill (nonbinary strix) by asking around or noting their image on
the tavern’s posted list of entertainers. Having recently finished a long song set, Chireet is relaxing with a drink and mingling at the bar. They’re difficult to miss even amid the crowd, as they wear a sparkling white, purple, and yellow bodysuit, and their wings transition from color to color in a brilliant spectacle, from black, to yellow, to purple, and back to black again.
Chireet is pleased to see the Starfinders, and invites you over to a private booth in the corner for a quick bite and some conversation. Chireet chats with you amicably, noting that “the last Starfinders to visit Pholskar caused quite a stir. It’s about time if you ask me.”

Culture: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (5) + 20 = 25
"Thank you for seeing us," Pon says with a minor head bow. He then looks at her neckace and raises an eyebrow, "Those neclaces are not seen much outside of Agrishall, it's that right?" He then hands over the letter, "Ethel wanted you to have this."

Oh thank you ... and no they're not
Upon receiving the letter, Chireet quickly opens then reads it, before setting it ablaze with a small plasma candle burning on a nearby wall mount.
They offer you a pearly white spindle aeon stone as thanks for the discreet delivery.

Sense Motive 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Blinky pays attention to the necklace.

Pon. |

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (12) + 18 = 30
Pon makes no indication of noticing anything.
"Thank you for the aeon stone," he says with another head bow and then prepares to leave.
Did we need to do anything else with this person? Oh also, "You can tell Chireet is pleasantly surprised to hear from Elthel, and that some sort of alliance may be forming." didn't seem like it is necessary for Pon to share. It seems to me that these Starfinders are not interested in getting involved in the politics of this world.

![]() |

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
While Domakale takes note of an alliance between the two, she doesn't have enough information about the actual nature of the conflict to have an opinion on the sides.

You can move on to your actual mission if you wish.
The cargo hold of your starship contains a mk 3 null-space chamber for you to collect your discoveries. Additionally, it contains an expedition surfboat for travel to the Talgradur excavation site (stats on slide).
The expedition surfboat can be remotely self-deployed from low altitude into water, where its autopilot will engage and direct the surfboat to the shore closest to where land your starship. From there, you can easily board the surfboat and begin your sea voyage to Talgradur. Travel through the Ithillian Sea to Site 649D is a journey of 3d4 ⇒ (3, 1, 4) = 8 hours.
You can designate a pilot for the journey or may use the surfboat’s autopilot.
Regardless on who or what is driving, could I have a piloting check please. There are life jackets and barf bags stashed on board.

With everyone else enjoying the view Blinky takes the helm
Piloting 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (20) + 19 = 39

Somehow, Blinky is able to reduce the travel time by half. The journey is uneventful until the surfboat makes its final approach to the coordinates.
Unidentified vessel on heading 290 and speed 40 knots, be advised you are entering Cloud Imperium restricted waters. Provide clearance codes immediately or be subject to immediate termination. I repeat, unidentified vessel on heading 290 and speed 40 knots, be advised you are entering Cloud Imperium restricted waters. Provide clearance codes immediately or you will be terminated.

![]() |

Domakale goes into her comm unit and checks the contract for the clearance codes that Elthel provided them.
"This is the Pink Pony, tail number 8718QB. Clearance code is..."

![]() |

Clearance code accepted. Be advised there are other vessels working in the area. Also be aware that there have been numerous subsurface wildlife sightings, and you are requested to report any unusual behaviors that are observed.

![]() |

Blinky brings the boat in at whatever appears to be a shore or dock...
"Well at least we know the codes were legit"

![]() |

As you arrive at the co-ordinates, a sandy atoll rises from the sea, a result of centuries of sand drifting up against the wreckage of the sunken sky city. Jagged pieces of metal jut up from the sand at odd angles, appearing as if a massive sheaf of girders had been dropped from the sky and haphazardly landed in the sand. Another craft is already beached, and three giants are visible examining the wreckage of a large engine. They are apparently at odds with each other concerning an unusual aspect of some of the components.

![]() |

As you get their attention, the lead cloud giant speaks.
“You, there! the cloud giant shouts. This is a Cloud Imperium restricted area. Vacate the premises immediately! As he says this, the two remaining giants look up from their data pads briefly before returning to their work.

Pon. |

"Forgive the instrusion," he starts, "but we have been authorized to explore a nearby ruin. Is it possible that you might be willing to point us in the right direction?"
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (5) + 19 = 24

“What? That’s absurd! Why dispatch a second group, let alone offworlders, to explore this site? The insult! The travesty! The cloud giant sighs heavily. I suppose you Starfinders threw your weight around, then? As if you didn’t cause enough trouble last time. Well, please stay out of our way, as this is complicated and important work. With that, the cloud giant turns back to his colleagues. As I was saying, these are clearly remnants of one of Talgradur’s main thrusters.
No, sir, the stone giant replies. There are several inconsistencies with the reference blueprints from that era—see, this unit is made of much denser starmetal than a typical thruster. And see here, this component appears to use a hybrid mystical linkage rather than the standard electrical one.
Each of you roll Mysticism or Engineering.
