Sees didn't respond to the 'Whisper of ominous DOOM' at all, was that an in-character decision, and out-of-character minor oversight or shall we just go ahead and call it both?
I was under the impression that Hegh would be taking watch over Sees' tent and as such over the camp, I may have been mistaken. I'm not sure Oadir should be trusted with a round of watch right after his first shot of Dragonblood though.
So you did update that, well there's that question answered. I wonder if it's better to put new stuff in a new post or to edit like we have been doing. Probably the latter for many reasons, the former only really means we have to recheck some posts every once in a while, at the very most a day back really.
Also yeah if Retzack does anything with either box he'll have all the black-scales to deal with I'm assuming. But I'd gladly give Retzack one of them boxes to take and walk into the sunset with right now, I'd fulfil the dragon's desires and such quite nicely.

Bond musings.
Obviously I need to do better here. Let's try writing words and see what happens:Oadir is keeping an important secret from me.
Sees-Death will play an important role in the events to
come; I have foreseen it!Thunk is woefully misinformed about the world; I
will teach them all that I can.I trust Greas implicitly; they are good and faithful.
Smoog called me mad. Mad! I'll show them!
Hegh is in constant danger, I will keep them safe.
Kibra does not trust me, and for good reason.
Did I miss anyone?
Nothing for me in that list. ;)
Retzack the Black |
And let that be a lesson to you! =) Every action has an equal and opposite and all that.
Sorry, I thought your RP mentioned you were looking to share your rations with someone who didn't have any. Guess I read that wrong. I'm so hungry I could eat my toe! Oh, wait. :p
Oadir |
My RP did mention that, you are completely right, but then later I also mention that with the cruelty from the dragon's blood and the overall not having had a good day he really didn't feel like sharing any.
Out-of-character this was also a good excuse not to share all my rations in a single day, they're not expensive but we have no assurance that we'll be getting any in any time soon.
Anyway, I would assume if your sheet says you normally start with rations that you'd also picked them up when you picked everything else up.

We entered a temple, killed the necromancer, encountered some pillaging Dwarves, whom we killed, encountered some slaver orcs, whom we escaped, and entered the town of Estr, which contains another temple. We caused some chaos, but Estr's a bigger town than one night of rampaging deathclaws is going to crush, so we're rallying our swolen forces for a second strike.
The local slavers are gathering Kobolds through Estr for Krondor, the only enemy we know the location of other than Emanuel, for whom we still have the tracking portrait.

Rubs hands together...
We left the swamp and came upon a village(?) on the outskirts of Bastion. We entered a tavern in disguise, and learned the direction of a few of our targets. We then locked the villagers in their buildings and burned the entire village to the ground and headed out in the confusion.
We came upon the necromancer in a time temple, and killed him. We then ambushed a party of dwarves outside, killed them, and took their stuff (dwarf jerky!). At this point Sees-Death revealed that she had been holding on to a dragon egg, and it was hatching. Welcome to Tanard, the legless red dragon baby.
We traveled south towards another time temple and were in turn ambushed by a group of orc slavers. We killed the ambushing party and fled in the face of the full horde. We doubled back to the orc camp, freed the slaves (for purely selfish reasons), and found two kobolds, Kibra (ranger) and Tessith (priest who dropped the game). Sees convinced one of the orcs to join us, named Dufus.
We approached the town of Estr, only to discover that one of our targets, Lord Krondor, was taking kobolds as slaves. At this point we had a large influx of new players: Retzack (goblin necromancer); Oadir (tiefling channeler); Krish (kobold shaman); Greas (kobold thief). I'll refer to these new players as Group 2, and the originals as Group 1.
Group 1 decided to raid the slaver camp in the hopes of freeing some allies and generally causing mayhem.
Group 2 was down in the slaver camp and found themselves held in cages by an a#*@@#! dwarf and his awful wife. They escaped and killed their captors.
Meanwhile, Group 1 had infiltrated the slaver pavilion, and EXACTLY ACCORDING TO PLAN, Hegh and Thunk revealed themselves and began killing guards. Sees began freeing slaves. Hegh freed a Drow Noble woman who was being held, and the others killed more guards.
Group 2 heard the commotion and ran towards the pavilion, but Oadir stayed behind to inspect strange noises coming from a large cage. At the pavilion, Retzack raised an undead abomination and s+@! went nuts, the roof started caving in, etc.
Oadir released the caged Death Claw which chased him to the pavilion, where the rest of the party was escaping with some freed slaves. The Death Claw decapitated Dufus!
Thunk taunted the death claw and he and Hegh led it to the slaver's reinforcements, a detachment of calvary from the town. The undead abomination and the deathclaw engaged the calvary while the party escaped into the sewers.
We've set up camp in the sewers under Estr, and we know the Death Claw is still ravaging the town above.
Everyone else, please add the juicy details that I have missed!

I can provide this: Krondor's buying kobolds not as slaves, but to harvest their body parts for a massive siege engine meant to kill dragons in a single blow, named the Hammer of Erdogan. A fact that Retzack discovered, and as far as I recall, has yet to mention to all whom it concerns. I think we would like to know that we are to be harvested if we end up captured, hmmm?
Well, we wouldn't LIKE knowing, but we could really do with the knowledge!
Smoog |
It is certainly nice to have you back.
-
You may have already discovered, but, you were not the only one to leave,
Fssst, Grick and Flung are also gone.
Probably like you, real-life priorities took them away.
Their characters are still alive and Mooshy probably has them in stasis like Pork was.
-
Thunk, Sees, Hegh and Smoog are holding down as the original Avengers.
-
But do not dispair,
We are blessed to have these new additions to our group...
Kibra the kobold Ranger
Krish the kobold Spiritmaster Shaman
Greas the kobold Thief
Oadir the Tiefling Shadow Channeler,
and
Retzack the Goblin Necromancer? (of a weirdly cool sort).
((Tessith the kobold Fire Priest has been MIA for several weeks...))
Retzack the Black |
Oh right!! The Hammer of Erdogan!
Mind you, it's not like it's been a cornerstone of the plot. I don't think we're rending our clothing and gnashing our teeth asking why why WHY are they kidnapping kobolds. And there's is a LOT of other stuff going on for right now.
I had been holding that for some hyper-relevant big reveal. Well, I still am, technically. =)
Wait, I started with rations??? I thought the Necro didn't get those. I'll have to research that. I promise to feel very, very sheepish if I do. ^_^

Seems you did. You also should have a shovel (1 weight), a needle and thread (0 weight), and two moves that I'm certain are starting moves but do not know why they are missing from your profile (Curse and Replacement Parts).
...Ok, I understand that, I guess. But if you don't make it a BIG reveal at a moment when the narrative deems most appropriate, I will not be happy. With any luck, Sees will revoke any bardic-type qualifications you possess, but otherwise I will steal them.

So sorry Greas... it appears we's dead now... Snake eyes and all...
So I'm throwing something out there, if I choose to have the elemental embody a different tag instead, can we call it at that and consider that the canonical reason for it not going well at all...
I mean with hindsight I'd choose this so obviously over the alternative, but at the same time I'm not sure I would've chosen differently if I wasn't rolling too well in the first place...
Ah to hell with it high risk high reward, this time the risk prevailed over the reward...
Mooshy, do feel free to take that explanation, but if you want to, you can pick something else from that first partial success:
✴On a 7-9, the Elemental is also moody or troublesome, choose one:
• You must immediately spend 1 Control
• It embodies a different tag instead (the GM will tell you which)
• It resents you and will certainly be hostile later
Greas |
The way it reads, it looks more like YOU'RE supposed to choose, Oadir. Don't forget your XP for the misses.
Don't worry about it, anyway. With that 13 I probably would have been fine to try from this side, but I went with the teleport anyway. If we're going to hazard why it went wrong, well...you've still got Ice from Hegh. That'd do it.
Just don't assume we're dead before it's said. We're going to have some rather significant issue because of this, but don't assume we outright die. That'd be the lazy way to do it anyway.
Now if you excuse me, I intend to roll for a miracle.
Oh god Oh god WHY: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6
...I deserve that. Can I have XP for this if it influences your decision, Mooshy?
Oadir |
I know I'm supposed to be the one that chooses but normally you don't roll 3 things and then choose, so to balance that kind of hindsight I'd be okay with Moosh choosing.
Oh and the 'we's dead now' was a bit of a joke, I know he's not going to quite kill us for it. I've learned that now. It's only going to blow up in our faces or something.
Oadir |
Okay so here is my potentially very wonky explanation but I'm going to put it out there anyway. It still leaves room for the Splinching so that's a thing.
OK so Flash can move through walls by vibrating at the exact right frequency, every single particle of him vibrates such that he simply phases through the wall.
Well that's a highly controlled instance of the motions of a particle. When particles cool down they move around less. The teleport functionally freezes your body up entirely, making it move only at exact intervals of a Planck moment (the smallest increment of time possible) but in our personal experience we are moving nigh instantly from one place to the next.
So yeah, it freezes us to absolute zero, which makes us intangible (not how it'd work in real life but magic elements make for weird interaction), then positions us where we wanted to be and unfreezes us again.
The entire process of freezing can be harmless if everything unfreezes at the same time... If it doesn't, you apparently can lose a finger, or an eye. It's like a frostbite at such an extreme level that you don't actually feel it, it's just detached.
Sees-Death |
I thought Tanard was red.
She was described as red with white stripes and I keep getting it mixed up. I think I fixed it in time.
Are the yellowjackets the slave kobolds recently freed? I ask because I wanna know if Hundred-Claws is included I Sees move there
Yes, he may respond and ask three questions from the spoiler'd list. Sees-Death will answer as completely and honestly as possible.

Just a small request but could you look for a different avatar for Claws?
The current one looks alot like Smoog (DJ Smoogy)DM Mooshybooshy, "the Foolish" |
I hadn't specified the genders of the other kobolds beyond one being male. Absolutely, having another kobold woman would be interesting. I hope this doesn't force you to retcon any actions, Sees? It seems like it would be interesting info to you, something that you'd probably act on given what we've already seen from your character.

Joker, he means one of two things.
He's referring to himself and Oadir's icy capabilities.
Or, he's making remarks at the expense of me and Sees. I believe it's the former, since we aren't THAT bad.
EDIT: We don't have the more general Mage that acts as the alternative to the wizard. Going along with the group of mages you're pulling from, there isn't a Masked, Star, Clock, or a proper Winter mage. But between Hegh and Oadir, we already have a decent amount of ice already.
Smoog |
Hegh is a Kobold Dragon Mage specializing in ice.
Oadir is a Tiefling Channeller specializing in Shadows but just recently was imbued with ice from Hegh's Dragon Gift power and now identifies as Ice a well as Shadow.
