Yes except my specialty is shadows, also my techniques require my body to be in top condition in order to control the elemental forces I'm channelling (through the soles of my feet).
My bond with Greas is known, if he accepts: "I got Greas caught, I'll have to make it up to him somehow."
Other than that I'm fairly new, so I haven't had much time to bond with anyone yet.

A bit of an introduction, Behold and see Tessith the Believing...
“You are now aided by a priest of Varon the Burning, I will curse those that dare to oppose our vengeance. I will call forth the burning blessings of Varon for his power comes from burning his enemies. Be warned, my god, your god, demands life be consumed in fire in order for those curses that aid us to continue. I may look weakened to you, but there is power, vast power. And when we perish, know that our ashes will join the very breath of Varon. Rejoice in our hate, rejoice in our vengeance that burns within us!”

Oadir, if you can explain how you got Greas caught, I'll accept the bond. It may be better than the way I came up with.
Tessith, how about this: "Tessith should shut up about Varon unless he wants his god killed." Greas has some experience with god-killers and as as he's concerned, even if Varon is a more traditional god than Gorlaug was, they'd find a way to kill him anyway. Call me a heathen, but nothing is sacred to those adventurers.
And Retzack, would this be appropriate: "Retzack is far too naive. I have to educate him before he gets in more trouble." You do have a rather unique way of seeing things, after all.

As Greas was on his spree around the alleyways of Estr, Oadir made his first entrance into town. Oadir was met with a lot of odd looks but he was used to that, he knew his scruffy beard was not the best kept, but what will you with those protrusions from his jaw, a proper cut was near impossible. In his wandering he found many dark and shaded alleyways, in which he felt comfort.
In one such alleyway he spotted some cloaked figure, "Ah! A friend of the shadows is a friend of me!" he thought to himself. As he turned towards the alleyway he saw a dagger fly by. Greas had tossed it in the direction of a man with a radiant smile, or at least that's what it looked like moments before it turned into a deep frown.
The dagger had narrowly missed its mark, but where Greas would normally retreat back into the shadows now there was Oadir who had so carelessly revealed Greas' exact location with his outstretched arm of greeting.
Oadir and Greas were assumed allies and were both caught by Arman and a platoon of guardsmen that had been following Oadir around in suspicion.

@ Greas: Done! Also, this one seems to write itself: Greas always leaves a trail (or should I say buffet?) of corpses.
I'm starting to think that: Oadir doesn't seem to fear me, I must see to that.

Go ahead and write it in, Retzack. Things seem to be working out so far. Anyone else to put bonds forward? Don't forget to make a record of anything we figure out for each other. Speaking of which, Oadir: "Oadir knows little discretion for an inhabitant of the dark. He may prove a liability." Sound good?
As for you Krish, I get this as an idea: "Krish appears well attuned to the spirits. Perhaps he can help me appease Gorlaug?"
Anyone got ideas for who's helping us escape this place? Can Retzack eat his way out, perhaps?

Greas is the first other black kobold in the party. He and Sees-Death could be sibblings. She could use a party member she won't try to manipulate with feminine wiles.
Speaking of... What is a Tiefling in this world? Sees kind of hates mammalian humanoids.

Quite right, Sees. Just as Retzack is the first Goblin we've encountered, Oadir is the first Tiefling.
The one thing I will say about Tieflings is that they are almost as universally hated as Goblins and Kobolds are. The one thread that I want running throughout the whole party is that the "Good" races - the humans, the elves, the dwarves, the halflings and such - all hate you with a racist passion.
As a forewarning, Oadir, and Retzack you may have to do some convincing before the Avengers trust you, once they meet up with you. Thus far everyone in the party has been a kobold. There's that element of trust there automatically. None such for either of you.
Also, check the Gameplay thread if you haven't posted there yet, I've made my post update for today.
To see formatting, look underneath the text box that you're typing your post into. You should see a button called "Show" next to "How to format your text". It explains everything you need to know about how to roll dice.
[.dice=Channel elements]2d6+2[/dice] without the period would be a die roll for your Channeling, for example.

Everyone's in. Tessith and Kibra are with the party at their encampment. Greas, Retzack, Oadir and Krish are imprisoned at a slaver's camp in Estr.
Yeah, the party's much bigger now, but I expect some of them won't stay for more than a few weeks. That is the way of things with PbP. The good ones will stay.

Adding a bond with Tessith, as we should have met and been together in the slavers camp before joining the main group.
"Tessith has a rage that burns within him. I have run from fire for so long, can I gain the flame again?"

So I need to work out my bonds. Do I just choose whoever I wish to fill the bond or is it more collaborative?
Some ideas I had:
This one is easy, "It's clear to me Retzlak has a troubled spirit."
Perhaps I saw that "Greas' spirit and my spirit are bound together." While watching him to try to figure out why, I was taken into custody with him.
I think I would like to have a bond with Tessith, even though Krish has not met him yet. Since Tessith is a Priest, it seems reasonable that, "I have heard the spirits speak of Tessith's power."
Oadir seems like a good fit for "Oadir must learn to respect the spirit realm."
How would that work out?

![Tiefling](http://cdn.paizo.com/image/avatar/PZO9423-Tiefling_90.jpeg)
Apologies, I see now I must share the origins of Tieflings.
Tieflings are a race of humanoids that are descended from Daemons similar to the connection between horses and mules, except that the donkeys in this case are not necessarily all the same race. Most cases of Tieflings are between Daemons and Humans, typically with a female Daemon in the form of a Succubus being summoned by perverted men, abused and finally made to birth what is soon labelled an abomination. The cases of Daemon-Human Tieflings with a female Human parent are much more rare, as they often don't survive the mating ritual, whereas Succubi have an amazing sense of endurance that not many races share.
Often held in the lowest regard of the society they are born in, Tieflings learn to make up for their status through diplomacy and brilliance or retreat into the life of an outcast or hermit.
Luckily there are some exceptions to this rule, as predominantly Orcs seem to make some of the best parents for a Tiefling. Their society is well familiar with mixed blood and as such they are very accepting and accommodating. Many Tieflings learn in time that outside infernal realm they are best welcomed by the Orcs.
Oadir is a Tiefling Orc, by the way, but in Tiefling societies the distinction is not often mentioned. Tiefling Orcs with Male Daemon parents tend to look most similar to Tiefling Humans with Female Daemon parents, and so other races tend not to notice the difference.
If there are any questions of other race mixes with Daemons I'll gladly divulge into further explanation but I feel this will do for now.

![Kobold Devilspeaker](http://cdn.paizo.com/image/avatar/PZO1130-Kobold3_90.jpeg)
What traits are common to all tieflings, apart from generally being discriminated against? What, if any talents do they tend to pick up from whatever type of otherworldly parent they had? And how does the child generally differ depending on if the Daemon parent was male or female? I presume there is some significant distinction on that last count, based on your note about Tiefling Orcs and Tiefling Humans.

![Tiefling](http://cdn.paizo.com/image/avatar/PZO9423-Tiefling_90.jpeg)
Something shared between all Tieflings is highly saturated skin colours, horns and tails. Tieflings from male Daemons are generally a lot bigger and bulkier, rugged and their horns spiral. Tieflings from female Daemons are smoother in just about every way, being voluptuous with horns that flow with their slick hair.
Generally speaking Tieflings inherit their endurance and strength from fathers and their charm and agility from mothers. The horns also serve some function, though this function isn't always as simple as 'it's good for head-butting'. They are partly responsible for the connection with the infernal realm.

This avenger's encampment is quite vast, we have many many characters herein. It may take me a bit of time to become accostomed to the story and the presence of so many characters. And Thunk hope I did not miss a chance to bring over a new convert.
By the way, is bolding mandatory for names and dialogue?
Amazing what a change in Icon can do. I feel inspired by it. Now Tessith looks more like something that would worshp (envy) dragons.

I just noticed something. Correct me if I'm wrong, but whenever multiple damage die are rolled, isn't the damage the highest of the die rolls unless stated otherwise? Like, best of 5d4 or something? Because if this is right, and there isn't something I missed, then Retzack has marked on too much damage. As for Oadir, I have no idea, I can't see his health, but he probably did too. Can I get a clarification on this?

Sometimes the best of the die rolls are used - when that's the case, I will say something like "Greas, for your impertinent rules question, you are eaten by a grue. Take b4d6." Or I could write 2b4d6, meaning the 2 highest of the 4 d6's you roll.
But if the "b" notation/prefix/whatever isn't present, you go ahead and add together all the dice you rolled.

Nice way to work your story into the gameplay naturally, Kibra. Oh, I forgot to mention your situation for the others!
Greas, Krish, Oadir, Tessith, Retzack: All of you start out at level 1, but since I like to keep my players relatively balanced with one another, I allow you to storytell your way to level 4, 1 level below the players that have been here since the start. 1 detailed story about your adventures from your backstory = 1 bonus level, until you get to 4. Kibra has told 2 stories now, so he's level 3. You can tell your story in-character, but if there's no way to do that in a way that would make sense to the current context, you can just tell us a story in the Discussion thread and it'll still count.

Ooh that's very nice I'll have to work at that then, though I thought DW was already balanced such that it's easy to catch up, with Lv1s failing more often, being more 'impressed' with the treasure and monsters and all that. I really don't mind though, I'll jump at the first opportunity I see to add some backstory, maybe with my current state of close to death I'll just sit back and tell my tales instead of trying to break out, that is if I don't get knocked out by my own elemental first.

Hope this doesn't come off as dick-ish. This is purely meant to help.
Oadir, Tessith and Retzack,
I have a suggestion that will at the minimum benefit me, but I think will benefit us all.
If you guys have a chance it would be great to see your character alias profiles finished with the specific class moves you have selected, the bonds you have chosen and your gear (plus whatever else may be beneficial).
Also in your profile, in the class/level section you can add your attribute modifiers, HP, XP and default damage. That lets us see it right below your name.
Take a look at some of the other character profiles from the group for reference. Use the spoiler feature to hide the text into blocks. See below for spoiler example, replace those weird brackets with normal brackets.
{spoiler="Block Name"} "All Info" {/spoiler}
I really think these additions help me understand how each of the moves work without having to pull up the SRD each time (Both my own moves and others).
Let us know if you have any questions about what to include.
