O.K. cool, I see lots of fun and interesting possibilities.
-
I like that making field expedient gadgets in the wild would have short lives.
We possibly could do more with any more capable workshops we find along the way (probably would need to commandeer them by force yeah!)
And nothing permanent, outstanding or epic can be made until I get a true workshop.
-
Fsssts sacrifices are a cost I will work into our narrative and should actually help with bonds and things mechanically important. Smoog has a stash of coins and gems he will just have to part with as needed.
-
Thanks for working with me on this.
Pork's catharsis gave me some cool ideas for Smoog and I hope he can be as cool as Pork is destined to be (well all these Kobolds are going to be cool!)

Yeah, this party of PCs is absolutely great. Top-notch RPing all around.

May help to put a "Rough-hewn" or "Field-wrought" tag on anything made on the road so Mooshy knows what to break or react randomly on your next roll- I mean 6-.

Male Ashen Kobold Immolator - 3rd Level - HP 9/15 - STR 9 (+0) - DEX 8 (11) - CON 13 (+1) - INT 11 (+0) - WIS 18 (+3) - CHA 15 (+1) - Dam 1d8

For the record, I'm really enjoying the group too. Fssst is a really harsh, spiteful, driven being, but I'm trying to balance that with playing against other characters in an enjoyable fashion. If he ever starts getting to contrarian to play with, let me know so I can reel him in a bit :)

I'm hoping someone eventually learns to understand thunk. Probably flung honestly. So thunk can say his blather but flung hears the things thunk is thinking

Yeah, I think Smoog is slowly starting to see through Thunk's garbled communications and recognizes Thunk's logic and insights as being kind of like a really smart baby. Perhaps Smoog will eventually figure it out and create a translation device.

Check out this post I made on Reddit about Pork's RP about his sense of loss and rage. It's getting a lot of responses from the community!

Aww man! That Defiler CC doe! What do you guys think of it? It does not have the undead flavor I have been searching for in a CC class, but, it does look like a solid CC.

Now people will be reading the story and watching my RP. No preassure or anything <.<

Also I think Might allow me to do things related to the area of my Gods sphere/portfolio. So, unless I'm reading it to much, I might be able to do things such as raisng a dead body, or, inflicting disease or a plague or on a pool or lake or something.

I dont wanna read to much into it though, and I dont want thigs to get to OP/out of hand.

Dope Kobold, blue, 2nd Level Smogmaster Beatdropper

I do not know about the mechanics and all but the central character idea is great. Imagine what you want him to be able to do at each milestone and see if the main Druid playbook can get you there. If not the others suggested might be good or drawn from.
-
I like the idea that you are now not tied to a specific homeland but you can draw upon the death, poison and decay of any area you are in.
You can't commune or command the trees in the elven wood but the dead logs and poisonous snakes are your friends.

Unholy Abomination

Class Warfare is basically filled with potential compendium classes. Perhaps one of the darker ones would work. The Disciples in particular have access to Death spells that would fit.

Oh, Oh what about this. Add a choice to your Shapeshifter monster move that spends a hold to inflict necrotic/poison/rot damage bypassing armor 1d4 probably. If a creature dies as a result of this hit it reanimates as a minion with either Protector (+1 or +2) OR Warrior (+1 or +2)

F Kobold Bard Lv 7.03 | HP:19/22 | Dmg:d6 AC:1 | CHA:+2 WIS:+2 CON:+2 DEX:+1 INT:0 STR:-1

The druid hold moves are not meant to supersede rolls like Hack and Hlash or Volly, but they can change them. They are short, narrative modifiers. A move to add poison/necrotic damage to a successful hack and slash would work. A second move to raise "tainted" corpses, or a spell-type class move. Here is a reddit topic about it. I'm sorry to toot my own horn a bit on the subject, but I wanted to support what I had to say with some community consensus. The examples I give happen to be about an elven swamp druid.

I can see what I can do about making DW-style write ups for that Blight Druid CC, if you'd like me to.

The Defiler CC in the Dungeon world thread looked preatty interesting. I'm tried finding some undead CC's to try and get an undead feel to things. Feel free to make something awesome, and we'll see what Mooshy wants to do

Mostly from the Pathfinder Blight Druid CC, with a few ideas that riff off of Druid and related advanced moves and Pork's desire to do zombies.

Do the pork rinds count as rations for us?

Is it horrible?
I will refine it when I get access to better GFX software.
Made with 53s Paper on my IPad so it is a little rough.

Awesome. Cool to see those stats. Are you sure Flung has never done damage (through page 10)?

Most of his moves set up other characters to do stuff. He's like a battle bard. That page was hard to make though, so it's possible I missed something. I think Felix was the first time he threw any javalins.

If it makes you feel better, by percentage of total rolls, you may be in the lead for 6- by a margin of 16%, and 9- by a margin of 19%, but you've only ever taken 1 damage.

The conditional formatting on the total rolls column is just a guide (mostly for me) to show if a player should slow down or try to find more reasons to roll. (Red means stop, green means go.)

Smoogy made an excellent wiki about everything we know so far in the campaign world, it looks massively useful. I added a link to it in the campaign info tab!

Hello all,

It's your friendly neighborhood information gatherer. :)

I found Obsidian Portal that hosts gamer group wikis.

below is the link to ours and Mooshy added it just above the campaign info tab on our Paozo page.

I might need to invite you with an email address so you can add and edit.

As far as Sees is concerned, she treats Fssst as the Power, Flung the Courage, and herself the Wisdom. She doesn't participate in discussions of leadership directly, but has been deferring directly to them since the topic came up. If pushed to an answer, she says "A clan is nothing without a dragon," in a forlorn tone.

I am not advocating for any particular leadership, I just thought it was interesting space to explore since that group organization is all these little guys have known.
I would argue though that we are not dragonless; Gorlaug has just taken a different form and is waiting for us to find him a new earthly body to inhabit. He has claimed the paladin as his new vessel.

Servants of the Dragonking-In-Exile, eh? Only he's exiled from the Mortal Plane. Temporarily.

We could always convince them to meat-shield for us and once they're no longer useful, stab them in the back.

Or at least sneak in while he is distracted.

It's our first hero. Either way, we need to make sure this fight is no fight.

Yes, our first hero to kill. Would you believe I actually shivered a little with excitement when I read Mooshy's update revealing him to be so close?

This Dread Necro-looser will not see what hit him until it is too late!

Uhm, I figured this would be a great narative cue for Pork's new tell. Uhm, if I expose myself to the risks of a shapechange, is Sees:
A) becoming a leper...
B) getting touched by the God of decay, possibly experiencing the paranormal for the first time...
C) Turning into a crocomire?

Taking bets now.

So I have deep reservations about allowing Flung go into the temple alone. Since the necromancer might be able to de-level people with cold touch and one person alone cannot 'Aid' themselves, lets try to draw the necromancer out but still keep an edge of surprise.

If I pump steam into the doorway, Hegh, and Flung on opposite sides of the doorway can cut down the undead that continue to emerge probably unaware and disoriented.
-
When the necromancer comes out to investigate we ambush him as he emerges from the steam before he can figure out who or where we are.
He also will not be near any supply of fresh undead to send out at us.

Kobold/Armor 2/ 14 HP left of 22 HP/ S 12 D 13 (+1) Con 16 (+2) Int 9 Wis 18 (+3) Char 8 (-1) Shaman Lvl 4 XP 6 Scroll of Mass Teleportation/ Reinforced Kobold Armor & Braces

I have a feeling that the necromancer isn't in the temple. Mooshy said that his 'mark' is on the temple. It may be some sort of thingy left there by nasty one. Destroy thingy, undead go back to be deaddead but if that's it then there's probably undead guardians for the thingy since nasty one wouldn't have just left it sitting out for any old kobold to take.

All this is a long winded way of agreeing with Smoog that Flung maybe stepping into something beyond his ability.

F Kobold Bard Lv 7.03 | HP:19/22 | Dmg:d6 AC:1 | CHA:+2 WIS:+2 CON:+2 DEX:+1 INT:0 STR:-1

It's mostly a double backstab plan. Team Distracto-FireStorm catches the swarm's attention, then team FrostFog-Ferry backstabs the hoard. Flung gets into position inside, and FrostFogFireStorm confronts the source. When the opportunity is ripe, Flung strikes.

If the temple contains complications, Flung (DEX/WIS) is most capable to notice and avoid traps, and the smaller the group, the easier it will be for them to remain unnoticed.

Sees-Death wrote:

If you didn't give Pork a +2 then you only raised his shapeshift roll from 5 to 6. Is that the case? Just making sure before I drop the consequences hammer on you guys.

F Kobold Bard Lv 7.03 | HP:19/22 | Dmg:d6 AC:1 | CHA:+2 WIS:+2 CON:+2 DEX:+1 INT:0 STR:-1

That is the case. In my defense, on a 10+, i'm not exposed to concequences, but whatever is interesting.

Gotcha. So no harm to you for trying to help, but Pork isn't going to be successful on his shapeshift. Still mark an XP, Pork.

As was said previously, it is not entirely clear if the necromancer is on the island or accessible from the portal.

However, IF the necromancer is accessible, I have some tricks up my sleeve to provoke him/her/it into hopefully doing something foolish.

The necromancer's a him. Human. Tall, pale and wan type.
