I'm recruiting for a game of the #0-01 Silent Tide. Yes, really old school. This is one of the first games I played when I first started with PFS so it has a special place in my heart. :) Wanted to do it during Outpost but didn't have the bandwidth then.

I'll be recruiting six players for this. Selection will be based primarily on my past experiences with you, or your posting history. I'm also very inclined towards those new to PBP. Also, I'm targeting specifically tier 4-5, so will be only considering characters of those levels (and maybe a couple of level 3s). If you're interested, please sign up at my seldom-used recruitment sheet. Planning to start on 6 May, Sunday.

I recommend playing with our little fox of a GM. Kuey is pretty darned good, and is a fun GM overall!

Signed up with Garduk! I missed a chance to play this scenario at GenCon last summer, and have been hoping for a chance to play it since.

Hi Kramac! I am considering running Salvation of the Sages here, having just played the scenario during OutPost. I have a meatspace convention this weekend though, so I'll decide after that.
That would be most excellent! I actually just finished Beacon Below, so I am in a very Sage-y place right now.
Perhaps I could tag along this time! :)

Well, if batpony wants to play, you pretty much have to run it!

Salvation of the Sages (Scarab Sages):

For millennia an order of scholars known as the Jeweled Sages catalogued the wisdom and lore of northern Garund's greatest minds within crystalline artifacts. Though these sage jewels have recently resurfaced, so too has the new generation of sages learned that something else dwells within besides ancient memories. The entire order gathers where the Jeweled Sages truly began in order to confront their hidden past, purge an ancient evil that has haunted them for ages, and define the future of the Scarab Sages faction.

Reminder recruiting to tier 1 God's Market Gamble (classic) game, ends tonight. Recruiting for a fast-paced table of Heroes for Highdelve, aiming to be done before Memorial Day weekend. Specifically, I'm looking for four players who want to play the four pre-gens that come with the module (as that is how I think it's best experienced) and are able to post 2-3 times/day. You can apply credit to a level 1-2 character. Interested? Sign-up HERE. I'll select players tomorrow and we'll get off and running.

    Gameplay Thread

I am BRAND NEW to PbP (haven't played yet), but am a ***** GM, very much interested in getting into PbP. I'd be interested in playing Salvation of the Sages high with a Dhampir cleric necromancer 10. I'd be using a GM star replay; I played it at a local con last month and we failed pretty hard. I'd like to redeem myself. My day job is such that I can reliably post several times a day. I would need a bit of coaching initially for PbP protocol, but I'm a very experienced player.

I need to spend a few minutes making sure what's in my hero lab statblock is aligned with my inventory tracking sheet, but I'm otherwise ready. May I join?

Sure thing. Hop on in to the gameplay link. :)

As I have long-promised - a low level campaign style run! We will be starting in Ire of the Storm and be working our way up to eventually cap off our mini-campaign at level 7 having played through the Year 9 Exchange metaplot and ending with the Ghol-Gan Heresy!

I am open to running this in either Core or Classic (but would vastly prefer Core.

I was about to say that sounds pretty good and I'll join, but then I remembered I'm in it! :-)

My first play-by-post Pathfinder Society game as GM is in the final combat, and I expect it to wrap up in a week or so. I want to add 1 or 2 more PFS games to my docket, in addition to the several APs I'm running, so I think I'll go ahead and start one overlapping with my Sun Orchid Scheme game. However, I've got an idea that requires a very specific level range, and I'm not totally sure that we'll be able to do it.

My idea is this: I really like Brevoy, and I'd like to run Horn of Aroden leading into On the Border of War. In order to manage this, we'd need four to six characters that are between level 4 2/3 and 5 2/3, such that we can play the 4-5 subtier in Horn of Aroden, and then the 5-6 subtier in On the Border of War. If we can't find enough 4 2/3 players, I'd be willing to extend the "campaign" slightly and include a few River Kingdoms scenarios, in order to take 4.0 or 4 1/3 players up to the appropriate level (as long as that doesn't over-level other people for Horn of Aroden). This is all assuming I'm doing my math right.

Would anyone be interested in adventuring in Brevoy?

Figured I'd gauge interest here first before doing anything else.

I have a couple of characters that would be suitable: A level 4 Slayer and a level 5 Sorcerer. This sounds like it would be a blast :)

    Grand Lodge

I am interested in adventuring in Brevoy. I've got a two or three characters that would meet the level zone.

    The Exchange

Hey, I'd be interested with this character...there's only one problem...

This character's last XP (which brings him to 4 2/3) was the Special last summer (Cosmic Captive). The special ended while I was out of the country, and when I came back I clean forgot to get the chronicle sheet. Do I have any recourse on this front? The game was reported, so there's a record of it...should I PM the game's GM?

    Thanks, all!

The first step in this situation would be to look at the game thread to see if your chronicle was posted. I already did this, and it looks like it was posted, but the GM took it down.

Next, you would PM the GM for that game.

If that doesn't work, send a private message to me or any other of the PbP venture officers and we will see what we can do for you.

Thank you! Yes, I looked to see if it was still on the Dropbox, but it appears they moved it (reasonable, since I forgot about it until six months later). I'll get in touch with them!

Yeah, I'd prefer players with between 11 and 13 XP.

I believe I have a monk 4/sorcerer 1 that would fit this range. I think I am two XP from getting to 6 and prestiging into Dragon Disciple. I would have to double-check when I get home, though.

Relevant Scenarios if you're looking to pad it a bit:

Horn of Aroden is a part of an arc that is heavily involved with Season 5's plot regarding the Wound. Library of the Lion (Tier 1-5) leads directly into it and Assault on the Wound (Tier 3-7) is the conclusion to that whole arc. If you're looking to flesh it out a little I'd recommend including those as bookends before moving onto the Season 9 scenarios, and possibly include some of the Mendev adventures in between. I was a huge fan of what pieces of that that arc I've played, and if you are interested in making it a bigger deal, I'd be happy to tag-team GM with you back and forth. I have played Library, Horn, and Assault on the Wound, and would be happy to GM them, but some of the intervening scenarios such as Scars of the Third Crusade (Tier 1-5) and the Wardstone Patrol (Tier 3-7) I haven't played in yet. If you're looking to pad it up a bit, I'd be happy to Tag Team GM with you back and forth to fill out the arc a bit before returning to Brevoy.

That sounds like a pretty good idea. I've GMed Library of the Lion, but not played or GMed any of those others. I guess I'll see what interest is like, and what people want to do.

To be fair, from reading the scenario it sounds like the horn of Aroden is important to the meta-plot of that season, perhaps, but it isn't overly important to the scenario PFS #5-19: The Horn of Aroden, other than being the macguffin. I might just want this to be the Lander Lebeda saga, and not so much the Worldwound saga.

    But we'll see.

Agreed, just figured that if you were looking for scenarios to pad with, that would be a arc to follow before returning home. Consequently I have a Taldan Fop with 5 XP and 3 XP GM credit pending who would love to play on the Border of War. If he is up to 5 by the time you get there and you have a seat free I'd love to jump in, but that's a lot of 'ifs' that I don't think I'll be planning around.

The Horn of Aroden is technically 'used' by members of the taldor/Sovereign Court faction during Attack on the Wound (during the mass combat section).
