It's a collaborative setup between experienced PFS PbP GMs and people who are interested in learning how to start running games themselves! I'm not Redelia but the format I have seen used is one where the group runs and plays together in one of the quest series (Phantom Phenomena, Silverhex Chronicles, etc.) with each student taking a turn at running one of the individual parts for the rest of the group. Notes are compared, suggestions are made, and people can learn together - stuff like mapping, ways to handle initiative, ways to keep the action from slowing to a crawl, things like that :)

That's a pretty good explanation of GM school that GM Ladile has just provided.
GM school is a program that we run in Flaxseed Lodge where we try to teach new (or rather new) Play by Post GMs how to run games. It's a combination of questions to reflect on GMing and bit of practice as a GM in a setting where the players are mostly other students.

Great scenario. I'm sure fun will be had by all. Tough but fair.

Time for the Chicken's June game:
This time Roving Dachshund presents: 7-05 School of Spirits (1-5)
Seven years ago, Pathfinders entered Absalom’s shattered Precipice Quarter in pursuit of a ruby ring but also rescued a strange survivor. She has since grown to adulthood and exhibited a rebellious spirit connected to the ruined school where the Pathfinders found her. The woman’s family has contacted the Society, hoping that its agents can escort her back to the haunted site and unravel the Drownyard’s relentless mysteries.
Characters who played 0-06: Black Waters are encouraged to play
I will keep the sign up open till Monday (4 June 2018) and the figure out tables. At most I will run two. If there are more than 12 players than I will do a lottery.
I run a fairly quick table and expect about one post per day during the week and maybe one for the whole weekend. Major updates are in the morning Eastern US times but other updates will happen though the day.
However there will be a slow down between June 13-17 during Origins, but I still plan on at least one GM post a day.
Should be starting mid week next week.

Hi there everyone.
I've been running a couple of tables of the Emerald Spire Superdungeon in PbP. One of the tables has had some people drop out and is looking to recruit up to 3 more players to continue adventuring.
They're about to start the 2nd level of the spire which is PFS tier 1-3. Each level counts as a module length dungeon crawl and can reward 3XP and 4PP on completion. With some slow path at specific levels it's possible to complete all 16 dungeon levels and reach level 13 without any adventuring outside of the Superdungeon.
I'd prefer to have characters join who wish to continue delving further after this level, but i'm open to accepting characters who just want to do 1 level and then move on.
The group currently consists of:
Dwarf Fighter - Str based melee character with some knowledge skills.
Elf Lore Oracle - support spellcaster with very good knowledge skills.
Wayang Rogue (possibly re-building as Investigator) - Dex based melee with all the usual sneaky roguish skills.
They are all fresh level 2s after completing level 1 of the spire.
For more information on the Emerald Spire see the Product page here.
Anyone who is interested please feel free to come say hi and ask any questions in the Discussion Thread.
Thanks everyone!

Looking for a GM to lead a group of folks totally new to PbP:
I have been talking with some friends and attempting to lure them into PbP. I only recently started playing PbP with Outpost, but it got me hooked. My friends are all avid PFS players (and two of them are 4-star GMs) and I think they’d really enjoy the format. So, I’m putting out a request for a GM who would be willing to put up with a bunch of new folks.
Some details: there are 5 of us, so there’d be room for an experienced player as well, perhaps to help lead the way and model good practices; something that was great for me in my first games (Lady Ladile provided that model in one, Noral in the other, among other great players). One challenge is that it’s hard to find a scenario we can all play, but we’ve identified one that is playable and we all have PCs for: #9-14 Down the Verdant Path at the high tier.
Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about our group, and thanks in advance.

Hey Calvert —
I’m sorry that I didn’t get back to your PM sooner. GM Lorenzo had expressed interest in possibly running for your group if you didn’t get someone else biting on this. 9-14 is a great scenario, and should be fun for your entire group!
Hmm
Calvert, I've already committed to participating in Redelia's GM School in a couple of weeks. I'm afraid that's the extent of my bandwidth (GMing 3 games), without shortchanging the players.

First steps was such a great trilogy, so much better than these more recent efforts at introducing the Society.
Definitely true -parts 2 and 3 were both good scenarios, all three got you to 2nd level is a flash, too bad they got retired. Service to Lore still has it's charms, especially tabletop with virgin players.
