Yup, on the armor part I get that. It was a miss and I'll upgrade at next opportunity. Was I missing something on the movement bonus? He's not likely to go unarmored to get the last 5ft.
As for the build overall, I did go back and forth on DEX vs. STR before landing on STR. Overall, I'll admit the choices were more about imagining the character than getting perfect feature synergy.

Vekka, as I have said before, I think predetermined outcomes used to inform future actions is a misuse of dice probability.
Please roll your new attack roll. I know you feel that you have "wasted" a good roll. But ask yourself: Would you have done the same thing if you had instead rolled a "1"?

I would have done the same. Apologies for forgetting the prior decision. The reason I re-use is that it could just as well be a misuse to start with the 1 and artificially get a re-roll. But anyway, adding the rolls now.

Auntie Wu, with Midori's +2 Bulk, what is your current Encumbrance and Speed? (This otherwise minute detail is suddenly of prime importance in this Heist)!
Normally she has 2 Bulk, with everything in her pack, wearing her armor, and carrying her shield. She becomes Encumbered at 4 Bulk, so she dropped her shield to get down to 1 Bulk before picking up Midori. She should be at 3 Bulk now, avoiding the speed reduction from Encumbrance.

I have designed some dice expressions for you (if you eliminate the spaces):
Regular
[ dice=Potent Longbow (P, 100-ft, deadly d10) vs Target]1d20+10; 1d8; 1d10[/dice]
[ dice=Potent Longbow (P, 100-ft, deadly d10) w/ MAP (-5) vs Target]1d20+10-5; 1d8; 1d10[/dice]
[ dice=Potent Longbow (P, 100-ft, deadly d10) w/ MAP (-10) vs Target]1d20+10-10; 1d8; 1d10[/dice]
Regular w/ Gravity Weapon
[ dice=Potent Longbow (P, 100-ft, deadly d10) vs Target]1d20+10; 1d8; 1d10[/dice]
[ dice=Gravity Weapon (status bonus first damage roll)]2[/dice]
[ dice=Potent Longbow (P, 100-ft, deadly d10) w/ MAP (-5) vs Target]1d20+10-5; 1d8; 1d10[/dice]
[ dice=Gravity Weapon (status bonus first damage roll)]2[/dice]

[ dice=Gravity Weapon (status bonus first damage roll)]2[/dice]
Against Prey
[ dice=Potent Longbow (P, 100-ft, ignore 1st increment, deadly d10) vs Target]1d20+10; 1d8; 1d10[/dice]
[ dice=Potent Longbow (P, 100-ft, ignore 1st increment, deadly d10) w/ MAP (-3) vs Target]1d20+10-3; 1d8; 1d10[/dice]
[ dice=Potent Longbow (P, 100-ft, ignore 1st increment, deadly d10) w/ MAP (-6) vs Target]1d20+10-6; 1d8; 1d10[/dice]
Hunted Shot w/ Gravity Weapon
[ dice=Potent Longbow (P, 100-ft, ignore 1st increment, deadly d10) vs Target]1d20+10; 1d8; 1d10[/dice]
[ dice=Potent Longbow (P, 100-ft, ignore 1st increment, deadly d10) w/ MAP (-3) vs Target]1d20+10-3; 1d8; 1d10[/dice]
[ dice=Gravity Weapon (status bonus first damage roll)]2[/dice]
Feel free to copy / paste. All this information is key to adjudicating your strikes, on a map (range), against weakness / resistance (damage type), against known / unknown ACs (deadly), etc.

Ok. Thanks! I usually like to do the damage in a separate expression, however, this works fine.

            GM:
You've mentioned that more villagers will be rescued depending on how long we stay. Roughly how long would we have to survive to get them all out?
Also, you've mentioned that the encounter ends when Midori leaves the complex. Although I suspect it's not as imminent as it appears right now, I suspect we will get to a point where we're ready to leave before we're forced to flee. Is there a mechanism for saying that Auntie Wu and Midori exit the complex, and the other four of us hold back the waves of Noppera-Bo until we're forced to flee?

Going to remain intentionally vague on numbers. There are "several" prisoners.
If you accidentally defeat the whole camp, you rescue everybody. "Two or three dozen Noppera-Bo".
And no. Soon as Midori is off the map, I will end the encounter, unless someone goes down. In this case, anyone who leaves the map is "safe". Anyone left behind is left behind. If you'd like to risk extending the encounter, you can keep her on the map near the edge.
That okay?

            Vekka,
Just gotta say, if you fail to look at the Tracker, then roll a bunch of dice, then seeing some of your attacks fail (natural 1), then go "Oh wait I stride instead" - that too seems an inappropriate use of dice in this medium.
I am unsure why this continues to be a problem. Dice results are not meant to be circumvented - doing so removes the "risk" involved with mechanics (Pass/Fail), and borders on dishonesty!

I think my request is that you slow down and read the Combat Tracker before you post / roll dice.
But yes, the pattern is that you are sidestepping failure, either by substituting in high rolls, or conveniently ignoring low rolls. What advantage does that look like to you?
Encounter over - Auntie Wu - a Survival check gets us home!
I see both Auntie Wu and Kazuki have the same modifier now. Whomever rolls first we will go with. Otherwise I got:
Auntie Wu @ Search or Sense Direction
Kazuki @ Search or Sense Direction
Lan @ Scout
Sigurd @ Defend
Vekka @ Avoid Notice

Confused about substituting high rolls. The extra action had to be fixed, as I said if you want me to keep and utilize the low roll at next chance I will. Might be a good time to take this to PM if there's more to discuss.

Looks as though just Sigurd has a few checks left to roll, and folks can use Hero Points to change their Round Three, Round Four, and/or Round Five rolls (as those had technically been set to occur after discovering the sandal)
Also, now that I think about it more, I shouldn't increase the DC for skill checks that have already happened (ie Round One and Round Two). I am fixing that now!

Face in the Crowd would help him blend in cities (but we don't have many crowds here), Oathkeeper's Insignia would allow a cool promise to be made (although it only lasts 1 hour, which is a bummer), and Appearance of Weath is just very much on theme for Lan.
