Oh, yes! This adventure is Awesome! I'm still a bit overwhelmed with how 2e works, but, I'm getting used to it.

1) What is one thing that the GM does that helps you? Organization and documentation.

2) What is one thing you wish the GM did that would help you? Everything has been great so far. I, too, wouldn't mind slowing down just a bit.

3) What is one thing that other PCs do that helps you? Healing & sharing of items.

4) What is one thing you wish other PCs did that would help you? I wish that Kazuki had awesome spells to help the others in & out of combat. I feel a bit out of place by not having any spells.

I'm currently going through a divorce which also means having to move out of state to live with my mom in Arizona. It's going to be a rough couple of months. I had to drop out of GMing for Outpost VI and will probably have to step down from my Venture Agent position after 14 years of being a VA.

0) Are you having fun? Yes, quite.
1) What is one thing that GM does that helps you? The various trackers and post-details are nice. The topical NPCs are also nice for references.
2) What is one thing you wish GM did that would help you? Early on I would have said the pace was constantly fast, but I think this is getting better. I haven't felt overwhelmed by the posts in at least a week, probably two. We don't seem to be at all at risk of stagnating.
3) What is one thing that other PCs do that helps you? I think we're slowly starting to interact with each other. I think we've only scratched the surface of this, and there's much more we can explore this and interact with each others' NPC relationships.
4) What is one thing you wish other PCs did that would help you? More of the above increasingly. Bounce our characters off of each other socially. Get them interacting about their pasts, and their NPC relationships.
5) Are you open to feedback yourself? Yes.

So, I think I've mentioned that my wife is Chinese, but her extended family is from a lot of different cultural backgrounds - European, Latin American, Filipino, Korean, and Japanese. Not everyone would celebrate the lunar new year, but there's one Chinese tradition that everyone loooves: free money. Basically, everyone who's married hands out little red envelopes (利是, pronounced "lai see") to the unmarried people, so people frequently bring their significant others because, y'know, free money.

In Chinese cultures, the kids usually get enough money from lai see that it's their spending money for the year - there's no weekly allowance.

1) What is one thing that GM does that helps you? I like the concept of anchor posts, and other references. Due to the long IRL time spanned by PbP, sometimes things get forgotten - most recently, I forgot what we were looking for to relight the lanterns, and I had to go digging. Only a day has passed in game, so it's not realistic for the characters to have forgotten, but it's easy for the players to do so. Or, at least, this player.

2) What is one thing you wish GM did that would help you? I don't have any strong opinions on this.

3) What is one thing that other PCs do that helps you? I have actually enjoyed the fact that we don't always vote the same way. I think there's a good balance between playing our characters the way the characters would behave, and us as players not all trying to drive in different directions.

4) What is one thing you wish other PCs did that would help you? I think this is resolved, but there was a discrepancy between the names some characters used to refer to themselves and the names the GM used. I think we just need to be consistent. Lan's name is family name first, but that doesn't have to be universal.

5) Are you open to feedback yourself? Yes!

Anything else? I saw some chatter above about the pacing of the game. I've noticed that I'm often the slow one, which I'll semi-apologize for, but I can't average two posts per day, so it's usually 1 (if it's my turn when I check Paizo) or 0 (if it's not my turn when I check Paizo). I'm trying to squeeze in a second check sometime in the evening (like right now) if I don't get to it in the day.

I, too, am having fun. And, have been consistently impressed with some of the care you guys give your posts. Two highlights for me in the inter-group tension between North and South, and the whole Fumeiyoshi worship coverup unfolding before out eyes. Good stuff

For me as a player, I frequently lose track of the multiple narratives within an AP, coupled with checking in from IRL to try and make decisive action in the game world (with my character who is often smarter than me), I often find myself strapped for time to make a meaningful connection to past events that represents that character's prior knowledge and memory, instead flying by wire. So, it's nice to see that my efforts to put organized resources in front of you within a click or two's reach is seen as helpful (This is something I wish my GMs did for me!). Makes the extra effort I put in very much worth it.

#2: What is one thing you wish GM did that would help you?

Yeah, Remaster is causing a headache. It'll soon be over, I think. As to Pace, I'm going to be somewhat resolute and counter the "too fast" feedback with an alternate view. In PbP, where 90% of games die due to lack of Pace, this is actually a "good problem" to have (And so, #1 in my PbP Expectations). I realize some of you may not want to hear that. For my own work-play balance, I simply seize down moments when I have them (for example, my son is napping right now - I'm racing to finish this ginormous post in 30 minutes or less!), and work at the pace of the most recent post, trying to push the game along with actionable posts, anticipating that there will be other weeks that I will struggle to set aside sufficient time to complete posts of proportionate volume. Casualty to this will be that sometimes the game will move at a Pace that can be momentarily out-of-sync with your own work-play balance. That said, I do take the feedback that sometimes you guys need GM to "step back" and let the dialogue play out - I will try and recognize and honor those moments.

Same with this. The name structure threw me for a bit (Kazuki Sato, or Sato Kazuki!?), but you all righted me so I think I am good again.

I have a general feedback for the group. You all signed onto the game after reviewing my PbP Expectations, so I will choose two to focus on that I have noticed sometimes gets left out, but when everyone is doing consistently, really helps me to make my GM posts quickly and focusing on other (narrative) details, especially during Encounters / Skill Challenges:

2) Do the Math:

Complete posts - especially during Encounter Mode - help the game flow smoother and make it easier for the GM to keep things organized for you in the Tracker. Please do not just throw dice at the post. Analyze the results of your dice to determine the Final Outcome, and communicate it back using Game Terms (X Damage, Y Healing, etc).

6) Organize your Dice Expressions:

Sometimes we lose track of the little "+1"s that come and go, which at critical junctures can be the difference between success and failure. So, it is important to track them.

Specifically, for Circumstance or Status bonuses and other miscellaneous modifiers, please include clear indication in your dice expressions ex. "{dice=Attack with Inspire Courage (+1/+1) vs Monster}1d20+15+1; 2d8+4+1{/dice}" instead of "{dice=Attack}1d20+16; 2d8+5{/dice}"

If a DC you are rolling against is known, consider putting it directly into the expression ex. “{dice=Recall Knowledge w/ Arcana vs DC 15}1d20+7{/dice}”. This helps me to adjudicate it immediately without having to scroll.

Relatedly, to minimize confusion and shenanigans, Roll Dice in the correct Order of Operations. For example, if on a monster's turn you are prompted to make a Saving Throw, resolve it first thing in your next post, then post your 3 Actions + 1 Reaction, then conduct any End of Turn effects, etc.

I agree that I think we have a good team, but also the lingering "why work together" question remains, at least, partially outstanding. And Lan, no semi-apology needed, as I feel the game's Pace is doing okay overall, and based on others' feedback, may even welcome the occasional pause in action.

So, I think I've mentioned that my wife is Chinese, but her extended family is from a lot of different cultural backgrounds - European, Latin American, Filipino, Korean, and Japanese. Not everyone would celebrate the lunar new year, but there's one Chinese tradition that everyone loooves: free money. Basically, everyone who's married hands out little red envelopes (利是, pronounced "lai see") to the unmarried people, so people frequently bring their significant others because, y'know, free money.

In Chinese cultures, the kids usually get enough money from lai see that it's their spending money for the year - there's no weekly allowance.

Somebody asked about Fulus. I cannot find the question in discussion for some reason.

Lets do all Fulus have their Rarity ratcheted down one notch, so, in Willowshore, a Rare Fulu counts as Uncommon, and an Uncommon Fulu counts as Common.

I have updated our "Loot Sheet" in campaign dashboard.

Remember we use a Rarity Boon (open "House Rules" spoiler) system to allow limited use of Uncommon / Rare options.

Understanding that, if someone wants to retroactively "purchase" a Fulu (which they have used a Boon for Access, if necessary), they may do so now!

When I leveled up I purchased a Traveler's Fulu and an Animal Turning Fulu, as I thought (mistakenly) you had said long ago that equipment listed for this AP were fair game. Fortunately, with taking the rarity down a notch, Auntie Wu can keep both of them and has used up her Rarity Points.

What I meant was that if you find a Fulu (or any item for that matter) that you can use it without counting it against your Rarity Boons.

For example, if you had looted Gurglegut's trash throne and found, say, a Traveler's Fulu, it wouldn't cost you a Rarity Boon to keep it.

The only thing to consider is whether we bring Miyuki along or take her back real quick.

First we need to know about how long it would take to get her to Old Matzuki's Estate. (If I had to guess: too long.)

Auntie Wu will vote to follow stealthily, but only if she is reasonably assured that Miyuki is willing/able to do so as well. That's a lot to ask of a 7-year-old, even a fearless one.

FYI: It would be very hard for me as a player if the children are actually killed. There's a big difference between the vague "children we don't know died somewhere off-screen and that's all there is to it" and "I'm looking at a child's corpse right now". <shudder>

Lan has poor stealth, but if the situation is dire, he would volunteer to split the party, leading Miyuki back while others follow the Noppera-Bo.
