If you are asking if 100% of Northridge is accounted for, well, no.

I"m totally up for it. Sigurd would feel conflicted about lying like this... but he wants to avoid a hostage situation, if possible.

It is different than Sato’s plan, and probably mutually exclusive. What do folks think of Sato’s plan?

Maybe Lan means using the Alter Ego ability after the mushroom house and as we get within sight of the barrack's guards?

Yeah the “1 hour” is going to prevent full use of that as of yet - you tracked the faceless stranger, talked a couple moments, then killed him, and all this before even being able to “concentrate” in this mechanically specific way. Either way, too brief for a dedicated study. In the War Room, after sleeping and waking up 2nd Level (with this new ability), the interactions w/ Granny Hu and everyone was again measured in about 10 or 15 minutes or so.

If you can convince your party to wait another 60 minutes though...

Also, there is regular Impersonate if the party gives the go ahead to move forward with your plan!

I really think it makes more sense going to the mushroom house first since it is so close. Up to the majority, though.

Auntie Wu sees Sigurd as the leader of the group, so prefers not to butt heads with him. Still, considering how dangerous the previous encounters were, she's acutely aware of the likelihood of death during either mission. The Barracks will benefit the town more than the Mushroom house. If forced to voice an opinion, she'll prefer to do the Barracks first.

Also, she doesn't want to be Granny Hu's little toady. She's only willing to do that because 1: Kids in danger, and 2: It gives her an out for going to check on her own grandkids. Granny Hu's to savvy to think she'd be able to avoid a scandal if she refused.

I'm liking C. I thought B was our plan for the Mushroom House.

If the guards are as eager as Gurglegut's Jinkin they may fall for our deception easily.

Sigurd would just challenge them to come out and fight, calling them cowards along the way.

But he's bad at Intimidation and there are a pair of deceivers in the party.

Just wondering: Why not a full round of actions? Kazuki stealthed into position and just waited, aiming his bow at the door. He should be able to have 6 seconds out of the entire time of the skill challenge to make a good shot.

Yes, I just meant is there a minimum or maximum distance that I need to be from the door?

Lan's currently 15' from the door, which is close. Demoralize has a range of 30', so if what he was saying could have been done from 30', that'd be nice. If he could be 60' from the door (just barely within the range of Needle Darts), that would be even better, but I think that would be pushing it.

Think of it this way. If I told you there was a "good in-game reason" why the Hostile NPCs get a free round of actions before even rolling initiative (and if winning, a whole nuther round of actions = ◆◆◆◆◆◆ total) before you even get to go, do you think that would be fair?

While I realize "surprise advantage" both has legacy in the game and is an important story tool, I think a "free single readied action" is a good way to give that advantage without overdoing it (indeed, if you also win initiative, you get ◆◆◆◆ before they even get a chance to go!), and one that already has precedent in the rules (traps that say "↺: this trap triggers this effect and then rolls initiative" etc).

I moved Auntie Wu to a different bush so she'll be in range for Electric Arc right away. Also, she'd feel nervous leaving Vekka on his own on that side, in case he goes down again.

Incidentally, is the little square roof thing near her token a shed? A covered well? The world's smallest picnic table pavilion? (Read: does it completely block line of sight, or just partially?)
