I choose 5. While Sigurd would love to know what is this fog, exactly, he's much more concerned about stopping it.
I choose 3, but admittedly, for metagame. I think there will be many opportunities to figure out how to stop them, but not that many to get the backstory about what the fog is.

Clarifying "uprising": Auntie Wu means all the monsters attacking and acting strange, the kidnappings, the undead, and the Crimson fog all together. (She assumes all these things are related.) If you need it to be more specific, she'd say it's the attacks on the people of Willowshore that began on/after the Reenactment Festival.
Regarding where to go next:
1) Matzuki Estate
2) Granny Hu (reluctantly, but duty calls)
She feels awful about Kazuki's mother, especially since he helped find her grandkids. But she thinks the best way to help her now (since we have no idea where to look for her) is to fight the baddies where it'll have the greatest impact.
Why Willowshore? Who is attacking us?
Best to return to the Matzuki Estate. Ugly Cute can come with us if it doesn't need to recover here.

Defense basic Reflex
You summon a layer of clear glass to keep you from harm. This counts as using the Raise a Shield action, giving you a +1 cirumstance bonus to AC until the start of your next turn, but it doesn’t require a hand to use. You can Shield Block with the glass shield. It has Hardness 2. You can use the spell’s reaction to reduce damage from any spell or magical effect, even if it doesn’t deal physical damage. When you Shield Block, the shield explodes in a shower of glass. If creature that broke it is within 5 feet, the shards deal 1d4 piercing damage to that creature with a basic Reflex save. After you use Shield Block, the spell ends and you can’t cast it again for 10 minutes.
Heightened (3rd) The shield has Hardness 4, and the damage increases to 3d4.
Heightened (5th) The shield has Hardness 7, and the damage increases to 4d4.
Heightened (7th) The shield has Hardness 10, and the damage increases to 5d4.
Heightened (9th) The shield has Hardness 12, and the damage increases to 6d4.

Party request:
Can everyone put their Vision next to their Perception bonus in their PC dashboards?
Example: Instead of "Perc +7" put "Perc +7 w/ normal" or "Perc +11 w/ darkvision" etc
=)
Two questions:
1. does the board squealing get a reduced wake-up DC?
2. can companions take an action to outright wake up a sleeping party member?

Weaknesses would be great. I'm hoping they are vulnerable against Vitality energy so I can spam Heal to disperse them.

I second Sigurd's suggestion for weaknesses.
FYI: I keep forgetting about my Gutsy Halfling heritage. Whenever I get a success against an emotion effect, it's upgraded to a crit success.
Maybe “W +11 w/ Gutsy” or some such.
I find my character’s bar does as much to remind me as the GM when I play, so I take extra care in building it.
